Still kneeled down by the spot where Flash was seated earlier, Nico felt abit bad when he started to make his leave. Leaving so soon? Flash really wanted to make that homework, didnt he. The prefect did feel like there was a different reason for his departure. But today she wasn't really in the mood to pry in others lives.

'O-Oh... Okey, Flash. Good luck with that. We can use those points.' She smiled softly from behind her mask. Getting on her feet, she dusted off her knees and walked back to Alan. 'He seemed to suddenly be in a hurry. Homework. Glad to see there are more motivated students around in Slytherin. Well, motivated when it comes to homework, that is.' The dhampir watched the First Year walk out of sight, she glanced at her bag that was draped against the wall she was leaning against earlier. The sun was getting hotter by the minute and Nico was actually getting bothered by it. It started to slowely annoy her. But Alan was still here. She couldn't just leave him. But she had to. She'd snap at him otherwise. It was time for her to go. She had to retreat to someplace abit less crowded and sunny.

'I..Eh.. Alan, I really need to go. I just remembered I still have some Prefect things I need to attend to. I hope you understand.' With a swift swing of her arm, she grasped the leathery strap of her satchel, throwing it over her shoulder. 'I'll see you around.' With a quick wave, Nico skipped off into the castle, retreating to her Slytherin Den.

Alan would be waiting for Nico to return but quickly grew bored in his waiting and began to poke little holes into the soil as with his pointer finger as he did not really have anything better to do than that. He wondered how long the conversation between Nico and Flash would take and he was sure that he would have to head inside soon anyway so that he could be finishing his homework and what else he had to do still on this fine afternoon. It was a shame really, since he would love to spend some more time outside but it was something that he could not really change so there was no use to dwell on it. He would rather focus on the nice things instead.

Alan smiled at Nico when she returned and nodded. He was glad when she mentioned that she had things to do because it meant that he had not be the one to tell her goodbye. "I h-hope t-to see y-you around m-more!", he would let her now with a genuine smile as he pushed himself off the ground and dusted off his pants from possible, well dust and soil before he would give her a small wave and leave the courtyard into the direction of the Gryffindor tower.
