Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

Long Blonde Hair || Silver Blue Eyes || Lithe || Slim

Amara has long straight naturally blonde hair, one that she kept long as both she and her mother found it prettier to do so. It may also be due to the fact that in olden times, long hair was what is proper for those who came from nobility. The perception of her expressive eyes changes depending on her emotions, they could be cold and glacial when she is angry, frustrated or annoyed but could also be as warm as the sky when she is delighted and happy. She is rather tall for her age, already being five feet four inches despite being only eleven and on the cusp of puberty. She is slim and lithe and has a fast metabolism that she doesn't have to worry about gaining a lot of weight. She is partially active, not fully athletic but she does enjoy the occasional exercises although she focuses more on quick works that increase her speed, dexterity and stamina over strength and vitality.
Background
Amara came from a long line of Purebloods although her family isn't mostly from the Isles. Her family had fled from the Isles when the Blood War had began, wanting to avoid in being hunted down, or be forced and threatened into Voldemort's service. Only When the war had ended did her family return to the Isles and settle down once more.

Amara is the youngest of three children, and the only daughter. Her brothers are considerably older than her and both had chosen not to attend Hogwarts but go to Beauxbaton and Durmstrang respectively, and as she didn't want to walk behind her brothers' shadows she decided on attending at Hogwarts.

Their parents are normal per say, that they have their own separate jobs which was a strike against the usual perceptions that Pureblood wives need to become Society Wives while their husbands work. Her Mother works on the family business, one that has a more international origin and her eldest brother would take over in a few years, and her Father works at the Ministry, a job she isn't sure of the specifics of but one thing she knows her other brother was following their Father's footsteps.

With such a busy family going for her, it was supposed to be expected that a form of neglect appear in her family life. And for times it did, especially when her family got really busy but they would always do their best to make it up with her. Her parents always does their best to keep a steady working hours, barring emergencies and such, to ensure that they would always, always have some time for her. While they were away, her brothers would always send her letters and talk to her through communication mirrors just so she wouldn't feel lonely.

But at times when she is left on her own, she learned how to deal with it and just entertain herself all on her lonesome.
Pre-Hogwarts
Amara was homeschooled, with tutors on various subjects coming over to their home to teach her various subjects. Her family is aware that by doing so she would be slightly be ahead of her peers when it comes to learning, putting her at an advantage as they didn't want her floundering in her studies. There was also the fact that with her brothers studying at two different magical schools she has access to their books and notes which gave her additional knowledge although she was aware some of the lessons would be rendered unnecessary once she starts at Hogwarts but as her family value knowledge it is just an additional boon she has to contend with.
Personality
With her background, it was to be expected that Amara grew up as normal as she could but as things aren't always perfect, she had some issues to deal with.

Amara is a contradiction within herself, a fact that she is very much aware of. She gets clingy and possessive of her family at times, but also cool and distant on other times. She likes having a solace but also likes being included by other people. She tries to present herself well when it comes to other people, not wanting to scare them away although she can't help but think that she does that without her knowing.

So she tries and tries, until she realized that she had created facades of herself but it was too late now to change it. Now she only hopes to slip in bits of her real self within each facade just so she knows she isn't losing herself.
