A moment of calm

Liela instinctively adjusted her hair and the falling bag from her shoulder as soon as she crossed the threshold of the courtyard. She stopped for a moment, but lost by another student, she quickly assessed herself and headed for the stone, cracked ground towards the fountain, from which, although the water was no longer flowing, it still attracted the eye, the girl quickly looked around, looking for a free bench from which she had a good view of the stone fountain and the students passing by it. After a moment of hesitation, she headed for one of the few free benches closer to the end of the courtyard. She sat down on the bench earlier, taking the brown bag off her shoulder. Putting her feet on the bench, she reached for the sketchbook and the set of pencils that she always had with her. She put the sketchbook on her lap, having previously opened it on a random blank page, she began to draw a fountain and a few outlines of the students who were passing by....
