𝕿hat day wasn't the most peaceful one in Ophelia's months of being in Hogwarts, not even close to it. The day had been overwhelming, and Ophelia was running from one class to another, knowing that the way the hallways were all packed that day meant she could be late to her next class if she didn't run. After the Transfiguration class, she'd run off to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, almost forgetting one of her pens in the former and having to run back a few meters to get it. She didn't know if there was any specific reason that could explain the jam in the hallways. Nevertheless, she was happy that History of Magic was going to be her last lesson for the day, because the whole running from point A to point B was exhausting. What she anticipated but didn't hope for was bumping into another person while running. What she did not anticipate, though, was for that person to be a Slytherin. Ophelia didn't exactly have anything against Slytherins, but some interactions with a specific Slytherin had made her careful of which young snake to trust. The Slytherin, a girl with dark hair, was perhaps Southeast Asian and seemed to be the kind of Slytherin who was not mean or anything close to that. Still, Ophelia was careful about the situation and hurriedly apologized. |

It was May, Angel had already finished her class and went towards the end she was going to the Flying class which was her least favourite. It seems like she was scared of heights or something. But knowing her she'll get over it anyway. Flying in her open mind looked fun now, if she did not chicken or freeze head to toe. When she's older perhaps she won't be so afraid of heights, and literally taking new heights. It's been a few months now since she came here, reminding herself she made a lot of new memories. New chapters and new experiences, weary on what the future will bring who knows how she'll do in here. Certainly she's quite homesick missing her old life back in Caerphilly. Everything caught up to her now life really did change either for better or worse, but wait maybe it was for the better? Lots of rivals were right up her tail juggling to let them know she did not do everything so effortlessly. With their rock hard heads it looked unlikely but maybe not impossible she can have allies if she played her cards right.
The corridors were windy, dark, and cold and as always once again footsteps of weary students rushing and almost running towards their last class for today. Much like excitement rather than feeling rushed because it was the last class. But some really still felt like it was the first class because someone just bumped into her. Stumbling for a blitz she had her balanced restored one of her book fell made a clashing sound. Swiping the book off the floor Angel quickly on her feet.
The person was a girl who is Gryffindor looked a bit scared due to the inconvenience or disturbance but it was no problem for Angel she did not want anyone to be scared due to a small accident.
"Oh dear! Are you alright? You seem a bit rushed." she asked with a fringe of worry in her tone.

𝕿he girl seemed, surprisingly, nice enough for Ophelia to rethink her prejudices. Not all Slytherins were the same, just like not all Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, or Ravenclaws were the same. This Slytherin seemed to be a nice converser, and Ophelia, even though she didn't know many Slytherins, appreciated that thought. "I'm so so very sorry. I'm alright, in fact, I'm the one who should be asking you that, are you okay?" Finally, for the first time since leaving Transfiguration, Ophelia had finally stopped running, and only then had she realized that she had seen the girl in the hallways, and, of course, the Sorting Ceremony, before, sometimes even in the classes the two houses had together. Her name, though, couldn't come to her mind. "I've seen you before, a lot of times actually," she informed her, "can't recall your name, though, sorry, she feld embarrassed saying that, but admitting it yourself would've been less stressful and humiliating than when the girl had asked her if she knew her name. Ophelia would probably not be able to sleep that night in that case. "Well, I'm not sure if you know me, so, my name's Ophelia," she said, "which class are you going to?" Suddenly, the rush to get to Defense Against the Dark Arts was forgotten, as Ophelia had taken a genuine interest in the other girl. However, she could understand if she, too, was under pressure to get to class on time, and Ophelia didn't want to make her late. |

"I'm so so very sorry. I'm alright, in fact, I'm the one who should be asking you that, are you okay?"
The brunette said, or rather asked her current state. She looked very timid yes very timid. It was normal for people to apologize after bumping into someone. Angel was apprehensive. Again, she did not want anyone to be disturbed or feel like they need to be the one taking in the troubles. She was fine, more than fine really. People don't need to make a fret of how she is physically. Not delicate.
"Oh please no need to get yourself worked up! I'm alright." she said with a smile
The Gryffindor replied
"I've seen you before, a lot of times actually," she says with a bit of curiosity in her voice
Angel nodded slowly as she clasped her hands together. She understood the words in the air clearly. She too had seen the brunette a few times, often had shared classes together during their time here. Heard her name as well in the Sorting Ceremony. Her name, she unfortunately can not recall, though she will not say it directly, it would've been best if no words were spoken on where they would have recognized their faces. Angel would not have to be in distraught if she too did not know her. Both parties were completely clueless.
"Can't recall your name, though, sorry." she says
"Well, I'm not sure if you know me, so, my name's Ophelia," she said
The next question was which class will she be attending soon. Potions. Lamentably, she would not be going with the girl to the class she was going to. But they still can make up with time during the dining hall. That at least has some merits to it.
"I'm going to Potions next. My name's Angel, nice to meet you Ophelia." she said as she turned her head to the side
Now, she had her gaze set on going to her next class, she had to make haste.
"I think we must go, it was nice getting us acquainted, I hope we see each other again!" she said as she gave a bright smile, in which to her favour made her much more calmer than she thought it would be.
The corridors and stairs moved ever so slightly.

𝕬ngel seemed to be the kind of Slytherin Ophelia hadn't met before. She knew very few Slytherins, but one specific young snake had become one of her good friends, despite her, apparently, very stereotypical Slytherin act. Angel was nice, though. And Ophelia found herself intrigued by the girl. Maybe not everyone in a House was to act the way the House was famous for acting. Yes, that'd explain a lot of things; people would be so boring and ordinary if all of them acted the same, wouldn't they? "Potions! Well, have fun there! I've got History of Magic, and I think we both better hurry!" She exclaimed and waved goodbye at the Slytherin, "I certainly hope to see you again soon!" That was not a lie. Whenever Lia met someone new, she'd like to spend more time with them and get to know the other person better. Not always did it happen, but she'd never stop herself from another interaction with an already-made acquaintance. She'd much rather spend time with them without talking than never talk to them ever again. After they separated, Ophelia proceeded to hurry toward the History of Magic classroom, already being certain that she was going to get there just before the professor started the class. Well, better late than never, they say. |
