The way they meet should be something cute like she is helping your character with homework or something. We can figure out the details later.

"storyline idea"

Your character and Robin meet during summer camp events, realizing that they have a shared interest in mysterious research subjects and the Department of Mysteries’ work. It wouldn't matter if you don't plan on interacting with Robin after camp, but if you do, I encourage you to read his ency to confirm if you'd enjoy roleplaying with him. Their interactions would generally be limited to the camp, but depending on if they get along with each other, they could also 1) remain in touch afterwards even up to adult years when they possibly become scholars/unspeakables or 2) not actively stay in touch as students but reacquaint with each other as adults due to being in the same/adjacent fields. If multiple RP partners are found, you can choose different routes; you can also propose your own ideas.

Storyline Idea: Looking for someone willing to join Ellaine in a compartment, Hogwarts Express. This will be backdated to 1 September 2025, the previous year, though mind that she'll be a first year then. Whether the roleplay itself is for a brief stop-by and introductions; or for a ride together the entire way is up to you. The latter could be done with a timeskip, too -- ideas very much open for discussion.

Your RPG storyline idea : I realized Nat didn't really make any close friends in her first year, people she's RP' d with multiple times, and I'm hoping to fix this for Y2. I'm okay with different plot ideas, so you're feel free to owl me and suggest if you want to RP. Looking for long-term plots and interactions atm.
Additional info : My reply speed will vary greatly based on IRL commitments, but it is likely to be SLOW. Also, I'll probably be picky with plot ideas.

Your RPG storyline idea: Cirrus is the only magical child of a muggle household, meaning she is separated from her family for majority of the year. During her first year, she felt as though a daunting schism formed between them, that their dynamic changed for the worse far beyond her control, and she goes into her second year with her loneliness multiplied (despite getting a pet to keep her company). She now feels as though her magic is her curse, and she no longer wishes to attend Hogwarts.
Looking for another student who perhaps finds Cirrus disassociating and whose first instinct is to offer her comfort. Maybe they understand how she feels, and in her moment of vulnerability, she drops her usual asocial tendencies and feels as though she can confide in them. Preferably, they remain friends afterwards and would lead into more threads. (especially for the bonus optional plot: perhaps Cirrus could develop an admiration for the other student that she mistakes for being her first crush - not a serious romance plot (no gender preference))
