Worms and Poisons P2Y1
When El told him she never said such a thing, Paul rolled his eyes. "You haven't. I know, it's just... a rhetorical question, uhm." Paul seemed to be awkward right then, the sides of his neck gradually turning pink. He shook his head then, leaving the topic of what was and wasn't said behind.
“In all seriousness, though, one or more of our schoolmates might be werewolves…”
"Yeah. About that... Listen, what if we searched for them at school? I'm so curious! I've so many questions." Paul uttered, looking at his Puff companion with excited, expectant gaze. "First though, we should probably think about the questions and write them down, or something, not to forget about them when we've found them. Details can be easily added to the mission later."
Paul, unlike El, was far from seeing lycanthropy as a disease, let alone feeling sorry for those who suffered from it. The only thing he was sorry for, was the fact that wizards felt sorry, and some even disliked werewolves. No, he couldn't dislike things he didn't know and never explored or found out more about.
The talk then tackled the dorm, which was connected to the dormmates, and that, El commented as a shame. Paul shrugged. He didn't mind, really. "Well, it's not that we don't talk at all. Max, one of'em, I like to talk to. He's... a weirdo. W-which is not a bad thing! Gosh, I didn't mean it that way. I'm a weirdo too!"
"Before, I’d have my phone at side. I’m a light sleeper when I have a scheduled sleep, so a nice melody just wakes me up.”
"Yeah, me too! Right on the nightstand. Such a shame that phones don't work around 'ere." Sighed the boy. "Funny, I'm not a light sleeper at all. My dad had to download a heavy metal song to my phone, and set it as a ringing tone to the alarm."
Paul grinned, turning his focus back to the cauldron. After she added the mistletoe berries, Paul stirred twice, anti-clockwise. "Don't have my wand on me right now. You do it..." Said the boy, doing thumbs up with both hands.
"So, now we're brewing the... other potion." Paul looked up, to check the teacher's table. Several pairs seemed to be peaking that way, but no one apparently had the courage to, quoting the professor, regroup around it. Paul chose to rise his hand to call the professor, then told El to go with him to the table.
When the last activity was done, he packed his stuff and left, along with his friend.

xxx"First though, we should probably think about the questions and write them down, or something, not to forget about them when we've found them. Details can be easily added to the mission later."
"Good idea," she replied just as easily. "With Skylar, some time... I mean, she seems--" she gestured aimlessly with her hands-- "good at that, yeah. Plan-making..."
"Well, it's not that we don't talk at all. Max, one of'em, I like to talk to. He's... a weirdo. W-which is not a bad thing! Gosh, I didn't mean it that way. I'm a weirdo too!" Ellaine quirked an eyebrow. An odd thing to say, but she did not have much ground to stand on. She's weird, too. "My dad had to download a heavy metal song to my phone, and set it as a ringing tone to the alarm." Now, that-- a raised eyebrow didn't do justice for her thoughts.
"That's all well and fine until they somehow become part of your dreams," she said, sparing a glance at him before turning back to the ingredients spread before her. After all, now that it was nearing the potion's later stages, her focus was drawn on not somehow messing it up. Double-tasking was never her forte.
Nodding at his reply, Ellaine waved her wand as the last step. Their first potion finished, Ellaine followed Paul to the front. Their second potions went much the same way, in that it also ended with a neatly executed potion. Feeling quite pleased, Ellaine went on to pack her bag, stuffing the book inside with much care, alongside her timer.
It was a nice lesson, all things considered, and Ellaine skipped off with Paul out of the dungeons. Much as she enjoyed the act of brewing itself, she was glad to see sight of the sunlit grasses once more. Especially the fresh air outside, with the murmurings of other students reaching into her ears. Perhaps, perhaps they'd find another friend on their way to the greenhouses...Reducio
