This round was frankly, in Lily'os opinion, boring.Every single spell missed it's intended target! Paul had attempted to cast Incendio Duo to Mikaela but, Mika evaded it splendidly. Nick and Mikeala each tried to cast Obscuro on a different target. Nick had targeted Paul, while Mikeala tried to hit Fawkes. Both missed and once again it hit the wall behind the intended victims. That poor wall. It had the worst luck. Maybe thats why it had gouges in it from the previous duel that had been here. Lily glanced at Fawkes to see what spell she was going to cast. Apparently, Paul getting hit by a lightning strike was enough to make Fawkes raise her wand and cast Meteolojinx Recanto at the clouds. The spell was a success, thereby erasing any and all cances of another lightning strik coming down and hitting the group. For that they were lucky. Lily watched as all the clouds cleared up, and she sat forward her elbows on her knees as she kept an ey on Paul to make sure that he was okay nd that she didn't need to pull him out of the duel. She would hate to do that and leave Fawkes all alone, but a boys health was greater than a duel.

"F' Goodness' sake!" Thought the boy, groaning, as his spell, again, missed the target. What on earth, Paul?! Focus! You are losing! He breathed out and in deeply, closing his eyes. His performance was very low today. But why? Maybe, it was the fact that Mika was his friend, who lived with him in the same cottage in Brazil. That was likely, his mind had peculiar ways of protecting his friends, apparently even without him realizing.
Listen, wand, you must work. With that thought, the boy opened his eyes and looked at his wand, turning it around in his fingers. You can't embarrass us. We are part of the Gryffindor Duelling Team, get it? I need you to work on one hundred per cent. Understood?
Then, Jameson was being mean again, and Paul wasn't going to let it slip by, grimacing. Christ in heaven, this guy is truly a tremenduous jerk, isn't he... Ran through the boy's mind.

date; 00/00/00 ──────xABILITIES.Oh please, you just had to be kidding me right now. Again, I felt the power of... something coming towards me and, once again, I managed to step aside just in time for the Incendio Duo, as I recognized, to pass by my side. Seriously, Paul? Fire with fire?
The boys kept fighting. I had to sigh to restrain myself from rolling my eyes at them. Boys will be boys, I guess. You could be standing in the edge of the end of the world and they'd still argue about whether the other one had something to do with it or not. And the truth? It was fault of both of them.
I gave Fawkes an exhausted look. Damn. How long would this go? My spell was lost somewhere in the wall, and apparently all this duel was becoming a stupid joke. Worse is nothing, I guess. At least I got to be in a duel. Can something interesting happen? Can Paul and Nick shut up for a moment? I think the answer to both those questions was a big, wild no.
Not even the moderator was having a good time in this duel. It was truly the least inspiring think I'd ever attend. Maybe I was losing my spark.

wc including ooc must be at least 229Nick’s spell shot perfectly didn’t backfire but clearly thought it could just annoy Nick by missing Nick tried to not shout loudly but when it hit the wall SHIT! the words escaped Nick’s mouth as both his and the Hendrick girl’s spells both Obscuros hit the the the flicking wallwow Turner knows nothing except how to be a moronic jerk. He looked at Mikaela Hendricks as mouthing to her “really this is going to be an amazing duel by the looks of it” he looked back at the other as Fawkes Chaos casted Meteolojinx Rencanto probably a good thing to do that when after it was gave the first damage of the duel anyway shut up Nick get your self co-ordinated don’t think about that hit called Paul Turner just think about revenge Nick got into a duelling stance as he cleared his thoughts of all different curses and hex he could potentially cast at Paul Turner later when the duel was over and calmed himself down whilst giving a death stare to Paul Turner for being such a fr*cking git and jerk now calm down you don’t want to be too angry to shoot spells he Nick closed his eyes for a secondAction:As strategised@Mikaela Hendricks and @Lily Isobel McCoire and @Paul Turner and @Fawkes Chaos

Meteolojinx Recanto She whispered and the clouds dissipated. Being so proficient in Astronomy truly had its perks in times like this. The spell was easy to cast for her considering she had learnt how to ages ago. Her eyes returned back to the field.
Paul's attack on Mika had missed by a landslide. No matter, there would be other chances, and Fawkes quite frankly was hesitant on hurting her dormmate as well. She knew it was necessary in duelling but it didnt make it any better.... Speaking of Mikaela, either the girl did not share the same sentiment or she had a stronger resolve cause Fawkes found herself dodging yet another obscuro. Paul was also facing the same spell from Nick again. Were these two only ever going to use obscuro? Kinda of pointless if it kept missing in her opinion.
She noticed Mikaela's tired look and smiled wearily. Fawkes had been in enough duels by now to get used to the feeling of nothing happening. Well, it was better than being hit by flipendo after flipendo though, she winced slightly at the memory. She lifted her wand once more for her next spell.

This round was more interesting the t he last round that’s for sure! Paul cast Obscuro at Nick, but sadly it was a miss. The lightning strike must still be affecting his spell casting. Mikaela cast mimblewimble at Paul, and to Lily's immense relief that someone in this group could actually hit the target, it was a success! Paul now could not speak, which meant he couldn’t really cast a spell unless he was proficient in nonverbal magic. Which Lily honestly doubted. Nick cast Meteolojinx again and this also worked. Thankfully there was no lightning strikes this time around, though Paul might have some trauma from the spell. Fawkes also cast Meteolojinx on the opposing team and they were also lucky to not get hit by lightning. It might only be a matter of time though before the cloud strikes. Lily kept her eyes on the two storm cloud circling the group and sent a light prayer up to whoever was up there watching. Sent a prayer with the hope that another person doesn’t get struck. That would truly be a hint of bad luck and Lily did not want to be the first moderator to ever experience two people being hit by two different lightning strikes in a total of 10ish minutes. No thank you.

──────xABILITIES.My eyes wide-opened. In one hand, something finally worked! I didn't think a Mimblewimble would actually work considering today's fails, but apparently, it did! Well, it was a way more efficient way to shut Paul up. At least, one more efficient than hitting him with a lightning strike.
Which, speaking of... In the other hand, we had... That. Nick casted the weather changing spell. Again. Did he not learn a thing about what happened? Was he planning someone's death today?
I just turned to look at him with an exasperated look in my eyes. Yes, it's true, desperate situations lead to desperate solutions, but another metelojinx-
Ah, shit. Fawkes casted it on us, too. Now both of our teams had a gathering storm above our heads. Great. The cherry of the cake. This was just excellent.
I mean, I understand completely why Fawkes did it, but at the same time... Why? Revenge for Paul? Just to take us down?
This can't keep going. It was getting far more dangerous than I thought it could be. One lightning strike and... I could be next. Karma for Paul. The Saints were clearly punishing me for what I did to the poor boy. As if I had planned it, him getting hurt. As if it was in my power.

After what had happened to Paul, she felt like she needed to get some form of revenge on her teammate's behalf. Within seconds the clouds began to form above Nick and Mikaela.
It seemed like Nick truly did not know when to stop considering he casted the weather modifying charm again. Paul had unfortunately missed his spell but no matter, there would be other chances. Though maybe not for a bit considering Mikaela had actually hit her spell and muted Paul for what appeared to be a considerable amount of time from what Fawkes could tell. Curses. She was going to have to step up her game and really hope her next few spells hit.
She hoped her Metelojinx wouldn't be as dangerous as the lightning strike that had hit Paul. She considered her Astronomy based magic to be a bit more.... refined.... and less destructive. Fawkes truly did not want to injure someone badly. She knew how brutal these types of duels could get. Sighing, she raised her wand once more. Now was not the time to be distracted. She needed to stay focused and do her best for the remainder duration of this duel.
