Lia was born to a halfblood and a muggle, Angie Irinova and Ivan Irinova respectively. Lia is an only daughter, making her a blessing in her parents' eyes.

She never lacked anything, if she wanted something she'd get it, as long as she played the perfect daughter role. At 6, she could speak perfect Russian, which she learnt to only use when throwing a tantrum in public. Lia grew in a normal life, as normal as a daughter of one of the most successful lawyers can be. If she wanted a limited edition, she'd get it.

At 10, Lia was barely entertained with things, she just collected them, the last season Dior bag her father bought her for her birthday, the imported dress from France... It all stopped meaning something, she just used them to be superior, because an Irinova from her level would never be seen wearing poor people stuff. Never.

Her last name got her everything, and now, she didn't want to just get what she wanted, she wanted to see how far her last name would take her before people realized she'd gone too far and had no way back.

Lia didn't like when people wore black, it seemed such a plain color, a color that could be overlooked in a crowd, she didn't understand why her family was wearing it, why she was wearing it; but no matter how hard she protested they ignored her demands to change her clothes.

She was so annoyed that when she looked at herself in the mirror, a frown formed on her face instantly, she wanted something green, or purple, not the ash color she was wearing.

For a second, it looked like the skirt had changed it's color, then it started to do it more frequently, just enough times for her mother to look horrified.
