Bumping into an angel

♡♡♡♡♡♡Riley sat there in the rain. It was a warm rain. The kind that would only happen in spring, and perhaps mid-summer. She looked up, her expression unreadable. It was something soft though, like a smile. Riley felt something strange though. Something like a tear. But perhaps it was the rain. That was when she heard footsteps. Quick ones. She got up quite suddenly, because she didn't want to be seen in her current state. Riley thought for a moment, then began to run. She still wasn’t sure why she had shed a tear in the first place, but it felt good. She began to wipe her face, covering her eyes for a moment. And for the split moment that her vision was blocked, she tumbled right into someone and rebounded, crashing to the floor. ”Oww…” Riley rubbed her back where she was fallen, and looked up. She let out a sort of squeal. She wasn’t sure why she did that either. Maybe because she was shocked. Shocked by the utter beauty standing in front of her. She resembled something between an angel, and a nymph. Her hair was quite silky; and her skin seemed to be glowing. Her eyes quite stood out as well, since her complexion was very contrasting to the bright color. Riley suddenly felt a wave of embarrassment at her own, wet appearance. She stood up slowly and smiled the brightest she could in the current situation. ”S-sorry about that. I suppose I shouldn’t have been running while covering my eyes… that was not a good decision on my part”, Riley paused for a moment, to run her hands through her wet and oddly shiny hair, then continued. ”I’m Riley, by the way. What’s your name?”

First year was already bustling as it is and Angel couldn't remember how various individuals had missed their step and bump in her circle. Now it was no problem but that just goes to show how plenty of people rush everyday and lost sight of their motor skills. However she wasn't expecting that again as she was alone in the corridors going to her Potions class right after Charms. Everything was in order and place in time so nothing peculiar was about to happen.
Classes were to Angel quite foreign with the idea of instead of having the more practical subjects like math, science, arts, english and etc they had Charms, Potions, Defense against the dark arts, and much more. The said classes which were not limited to were compulsory subjects. Perhaps it was fitting due to how this school was different than the muggle schools and had different ways of teaching and schedule.
She turned her body to the courtyard.
Unfortunately distrupting her train of thought a person had been blocked by something making them impaired with little vision and thus tripped and lost their line of sight. Which made Angel stumble for a while but she had retained her balance.
”S-sorry about that. I suppose I shouldn’t have been running while covering my eyes… that was not a good decision on my part”
The robe from which the Slytherin could tell was that the girl was Ravenclaw. The Ravenclaw girl's voiced was sheepish and a bit timid with how their encounter went. Perhaps if she was to reassure another presence once more it wouldn't be too much of a task to do so.
"Oh dear! Please don't fret! Lesson learned anyway." she looked around for any other ideas as to what to do with the fallen girl. She had a lovely face as well.
What followed was an introduction, promptly as always it would not be too surprising or anything peculiar that happened once. It was reaccuring everytime someone bumped in to her all the time in these halls or corridors. Never had she thought it would take place in the courtyard. This scene repeated everytime so she was unfazed. The lass introduced herself as Riley Bluescar.
"Angel Dayes, it's a pleasure." she smiled
As she organized herself to keep kempt she once again with her vision she was firm that no one is here except for them.
"I believe we might have a class together, so if I may ask what is your next class?" Angel asked promptly with a saccharine demeanor.
"Oh no need to worry about me, you're free to also stand up." she laughed with her hands swiftly hovering her mouth. Amused but not mockingly as she offered her hand to assist the fallen raven to get Riley on her feet again.
