December breeze.
Air cold, freezing your fingertips, slow, but calming howls that can take the mind to peace. So much so, he'd breathe in the passing wind. Soothing as it is. His feet tickled by the occasional splashes of its natural waves. But it was also warm.
Warm enough to warm the heart, reminiscing each and every memory during his time in Hogwarts.
Warm enough to ponder that the warmth within the wind was slowly dying out. A reminder that the new year comes closer, and closer.
December breeze. That's what he would call it.
Sitting near the edge of the Great Lake, legs stretched out comfortably. He'd watch the water ripple gently, swaying. Dancing with it were the fishes, their fins and scales adding life to it. He wasn't the type to think about these things.
Looking around, best being aware of his surroundings. It was empty. Looking back to the calm waves, clenching his hand. A flower, it's petals looking flourish as ever. He'd run his thumb through it, before plucking one off.
"He loves me.."
"He loves me not. . ." His fingers hesitated.
"He loves me—no love is too deep. He doesn't.."
.
"He likes me not." Fingers caressing through each petal everytime. Before gently pulling it off its receptacle. The petals falling side-to-side, eventually landing on the water, flowing with the blue hue of the lake.
"He likes me.." He'd pause for a subtle moment. The last flower petal, staring into him. His brows creasing in.
He threw away the flower, motioning like it personally offended him. It did. He didn't even believe those stupid, petals anyways.
Covering his face with his hands, letting out a noise that disturbed the calm of the waves.
"Aghhh!!" He'd fall backwards. Feet swaying near the edge aggressively. Forgetting this was a public area, open to other students who might be also love-stricken.
"Of course he doesn't! We didn't even talk."
"The flower doesn't mean anything!"
His forearm, covering his eyes from the bright sky, too bright it might give him a reality check.
Screw the December breeze.

──────────── ────────────────────────────────INTERACTIONS
@Chatt Auclair──────────────────────────────────────────── The lake was still, water frozen. A chill breeze flew around and goosebumps crawled over her. Coming her always brought a nice feeling. So cosy, soft, and tranquill. No one was here to destroy the peace. Her peace. No students filling corridor. No rushing teachers. No busy common rooms. Just a place for her to connect. Connect the the real world without people. Recently, Helena's mind's been somewhere else. A place in the clouds. She pondered carefully about her recent days. The people she's met. Her heartwalming welcome from when she first joined. Even with the heart warming welcomes and the love shared towards everyone, Helena always noticed her differences. Like somehow, no matter what she didn't quite "fit in". Join everyone else. She was always different. Everyone was loud, bubbly friendly. Helena's a social girl but not quite that type. She didn't have a lot of friends. There was, Chatt, Lily, Maddison, Blair but where they close friends? Real friends? How could she trust them? With her lost in thoughts she didn't notice the figure laying in front of her. She has been lapping around the lake in loops. Lifting her head slightly she recognised the figure. Someone she's met before. But who? Her mind raced as she scanned the face. Chatt! How could she forget? He wasn't a person to forget. A smile grew across her face to meet her frined so lost lying here where she was. Carefully approaching, she gently tapped his shoulder. She could barely make out the words he mummbled, "He likes me". Laying beside him she tilted her head and gazed at the lake. December chills swept her and she pulled her jacket tightly around her. "Hello," she said gently. "What's on your mind?" She could tell Chatt didn't look like his usual self. He appeared distant, reminding her of herself.

He'd huff, and puff, and blow his heart out into the breeze. The only he could think about, even when his eyelids closed, the view blocked out, the beauty of it all. Covered. By a single thought. The thought of him.
Slowly, uncovering his face by a forearm, he let light into his eyes.
A shadow, blocked by the sun,
"Hell!"
He let out, as he flinched lightly from the ground.
"...Ena...Helena."
He got up by his forearm. Helena, skin dark, hiding light within. Her curls tangled naturally, finding each other between the strands.
The breeze flew, cold as it touched the body. She pulled her jacket for a bit of warmth she could gather.
"Hello," her voice, gentle as the lake.
"What's on your mind?" She'd ask.
"Ah.." He'd grumble. Did she understand?
"Nothing," Carefully rubbing his eyes, index moving thoroughly between his eyelids, trying to remove the blinding light to see her clearly.
"Its nothing."
He'd look at her properly.
"How about you?"
"Its pretty cold out, what.."
He'd pause, for a slight moment.
"What are you doing here?" His face, looking pleased. A slight smile to show. After all, he assumed, like an 11-year old would—she didn't understand any of it.
.
Keeping his grin, he'd sway his hanging feet.

She scrunched her nose asking the question. His hair was tosseled, messy but a handsome kind of messy. Helena stared at his eyes, warm and welcoming.
A sort of low grumble rang through the air. He looked troubled. Chatt? Troubled? She shook her head at the bizzare thought.
“Nothing” a slow voice came. He replied to her question. GOSH. She completely forgot she asked a question. A sudden cold air coated her sending shivers down her spine. How is he not cold? She tucked her hair behind her ears. “Its nothing” quietly repeating himself.
“Well its clearly not nothing if your bothered by it. Don't ever say nothing when its something.”
“How about you?” he asked, “Its pretty cold, what are you doing here?”
Her face was flushed a deep pink. “Why?”She stammered, blirting out the words before she could hold them in. “I meant I wanted to truly enjoy the Lake you know? Haven’t really been able to check it out since the sorting ceremony.” Quickly, she gave a big grin. “I just happen to find you here looking lost and in need of my wondrous assistance. I happen to be quite in demand.”
