Isabella was extremely bored. It was summer, and she didn't have school, but she was bored. It made sense, one would assume. She didn't have any classes, homework, or friends around.

"Izzy, Izzy, can we please go to the park?" Isabella looked over from her spot on her bed to see her younger brother, Alex, standing in the doorway.

Isabella smiled. "Of course. Just give me a moment to get ready." Alex saluted and left the room.

Isabella laughed. "Silly little bug. Anyway, got to get ready." Isabella changed into a t-shirt, shorts, and her favorite pair of sky blue converse shoes.

She pulled her brown curly hair up into a ponytail and threw on a jacket lying on the floor. "Okay, ready!" Isabella shouted so that Alex could hear her.

Isabella pulled open the door to see Alex standing right outside of it. "You really couldn't wait, could you?" Alex shook his head and grabbed her hand.

"Nope! C'mon, hurry!" Isabella was almost to the door when she remembered to tell her older sister (both her parents were at work) that she was going to the park with Alex.

"I'm taking Alex to the park!" She shouted, hoping her older sister could hear it from wherever she was.

She heard her sister's voice from upstairs. "Okay, just be back within an hour!"

"Got it!" With that, Isabella headed out the door.

When Alex and Isabella made it to the park, it was fairly crowded. "Okay, what do you want to do first, Alex? The swings, the slide, or the monkey bars?"

Alex ran toward the slide enthusiastically. "Come on!" Isabella chased after him all the way to the other side of the park. Once they got to the slide, Alex went down it multiple times. Isabella had a smile on her face. He was truly adorable.

After the slide, Alex led Isabella to the swings. "Can you push me?" Isabella nodded.

"You just need to get on one and I can do that." Alex chose a swing and hopped on. Isabella pushed him a few times. After he got enough momentum and started stretching out and swinging his legs back to keep the swing going, Isabella decided that she could sit on the swing next to him.

Isabella sat down and started to swing, looking at the clouds in the bright blue sky each time she went forward. "I'll never get tired of that." She whispered. As she swung backward, she wondered what the summer had in store for her.

Summer Swings
Summer.

This was the time Aaron and his friends have fun together, all day, every day. Unfortunately, not everybody has a 104 days of summer. This summer, Aaron ensured that he spent every minute properly. These were mainly movies, or lunch at a local restaurant, which occasion bowling events.

Today it was the park. Just a simple picnic, nothing special. Maybe he'll finally be able to tell his friends a bit more about his plans next year. Till now, he never denied that he was continuing schooling with them, but never accepted it either.

He reached the park a bit early and thought to head by the swings. He enjoys swinging there, feeling the wind rush by his face, seeing the sky and ground without straining your neck. It felt magical, without using any magic. At times, his mother did use a bit of magic to give him some extra height, but that was rare and only when the park was empty. Still, Aaron enjoyed the swings without the magic.

When he arrived by the swings right now, he saw they were occupied. He decided to wait for them to finish before using them as he still had about 30mins for his friends to arrive. By the looks of it, they were siblings who were swinging the swings together. So, he decided he could maybe ask one of them how long it will take.

He approached the pair and asked the girl,
"Hi there! How long will you guys be using the swing? I also want to use it too!"
The girl seemed to be about his age. The boy younger. He knew that none of them would want to give up so he added,
"Don't worry, I won't take much time as my friends would be coming soon. I just want to use the swing for 5-10 minutes."
