Sunday sleep-ins
TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of an eating disorder
Trixie will still adjusting to her first week of school. So many classes that she had to pay attention to and tbe Summer Camp she had been too overwhelmed to attend. She was not brave like Gryffindors. She wasn't cunning like Slytherins, and she wasn't that smart like Ravenclaws.
But she was kind.
It was the 7th of September, the first Sunday of term. She had woken up late, wrapped in a warm blanket that wasn't hers but she had grown used to seeing blankets lift themselves off the ground and hug students so she wasn't suprised. She did find it cool though.
Trixie had skipped breakfast...again. She had a feeling her peers were beginning to notice so she changed into her Doc Martens and sweater that was soft with age and made her way lazily to the breakfast table.
The Great Hall was buzzing with a few students, some who looked as awake as her. It was around lunch and she sat down. She still hadn't made any friends but she must focus on the task.
Food vs Trixie.
It was a battle she did not want to fight or even watch but since she sucked at lying, and her peers would see right through her as if she was a ghost. She shovelled food into her mouth, it tasted good. The flavours mixing well and creating a wonderful effect.
Shame her body didn't agree because it immediately deciding to try and eject the food. Trixie gagged and held her hand firmly over her mouth until it her stomach had calmed down enough to stop...that.
She continued brunch like this, one bite and waiting a minute for it to make its full course and settle before taking another. She really really hoped no one saw, she hated that she even had to do this.
Her determination on her first and second day to make friends was levelled out with her dedication to her studies. On top of that, she had this to deal with. This...condition.
One thing she knew about herself fully was that she absolutely hated this 'condition', was she going to make it go away with pure determination and spite? Probably not...Is she going to try? Definitely.
She started by packing her dishes into a neat pile before walking out of the Great Hall. Spite might not get of it but research might
