The Muggles troubles actually makes sense!!

Any ideas on what muggles tend to have troubles with, with magic? Or any catastrophes that happened?? Something to do with our department?

Well by what I read in the hp books..incidents like muggles encountering any magic by wizards..we may need to erase they memory etc.. or solve problems by wizards I the muggle world.. BTW I think Mr Weasley was in this department..
I don't know if I'm right or not but that is what I thought this departments work is about.. correct me if I'm wrong..

The Department cleans up the mess during and after a breach of Secrecy meaning : gather intel for the Aurors, obliviate the crowds, infiltrate Muggle newspapers to falsify the news (realistic lies), etc. ... All in all = Lie and Deceit to protect the Secrecy
