Random but I really want to bake a cake and I need 1 more egg, and my chicken is currently rage baiting me by sitting in the nesting box but not actually laying an egg

Typical chickens. My aunt has three hens and none of them are laying eggs for her currently. lol

I have three too, and then some babies that are at least 1 month old, so the hen that's acting as their mom isn't laying so we only get 2 eggs per day if we are lucky

Yeah. My aunt has an old hen that usually lays eggs, but it’s been so hot she hasn’t lately and she has two other hens that are a few months old and fully grown that haven’t lain a single egg yet.

Yeah, its hot where I live too, I'm suprised ours are still laying at all
