The way they meet should be something cute like she is helping your character with homework or something. We can figure out the details later.

Your RPG storyline idea : Dennis is hitting his "good student" arc. Studying and spell practice, committing to actually putting in the work. Any other studious characters or people who want to cause problems for those who wish to study are welcome. No clear plot yet other than using the lesson materials provided by the staff to get into trouble by bending the intended meaning to have some truly preposterous outcomes. "Dennis I don't think they meant what you think they meant" vibes. I said good student not successful student.
