Date : Unknownth, 2026 Word Count: : 210 Another year, another duel for the lioness to moderate. Honestly at this point she was getting quite good at knowing the ropes of how a duel worked even though she was far from a duelist. She was the Quidditch player where her cousin, Dylan, was the duelist. But that did not stop her from enjoying moderation. It was a fun sport. More fun than getting blasted constantly by spells and dodging back and forth each round.
This duel was different. A first year versus a second year. Now that was going to be an interesting match of who could hold their own more. It all burned down to sheer luck and wit. Also good dodging skills. Those were the keys to a good duel that was entertaining as well as good for the duelist.
Shaking her head, Avery pulled her mind back into the present and focused on what was before her. "Alright duelists! Welcome to your unofficial duel! If you don't already know, my name is Avery Gray and I will be your moderator. Now, you may begin." Avery would smile at her two duelists upon them entering in the room. She wanted them to know that she wished them well, because she did. Duels were never easy. Never.
