River Dolphin vs. Arapaima
The heat descended upon Stelle with unexpected intensity, enveloping her in a stifling humidity. She brushed a few curls from her forehead as she tried to continue onward, though each breath seemed to take a little more effort.
Robin and Tati seemed to be coping much better, but Stelle barely had time to complain. Now they had to stop her from escaping with her. Stelle raised her wand and cast the spell, hoping to achieve this time what she had failed to do before. But, once again, the other girl was too quick. She slipped between the trees and vanished from her reach. The frustration lasted only a few seconds before the heat became unbearable again. As a young Scot, heat was far from her natural habitat. Then she heard the headmaster's announcement.
"Evangeline has found the Arapaima flag in Zone 4. I repeat: the Arapaima flag has been found in Zone 4. Don't waste time. My time."
Stelle's eyes snapped open. For a moment, she completely forgot about the heat. If Evangeline had found the enemy flag, they still had a chance. That could completely change the course of the game. Stelle took a deep breath and gripped her wand again.
Although the heat had left her quite battered, she was still smiling. After all, this experience was exactly the kind of story she'd come for. She just hoped the next one wouldn't try to cook her alive.

TERRIBLE PRESENCE [AFFECTS ALL] | PERFECTIONIST | BINDING MARK [BORAM]
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Arno managed to evade one trouble; one trap only to find himself trapped or distracted with another. Perhaps that was the very possible future the world had planned for him, or perhaps it was merely a once off incident and he need not think too hardly upon it. Much like how he did not believe his need to think too hard upon setting this trap and leading to the failure and wastage of time he'd costed himself and his team.
Time as he knew it, was a resource rarer than all. You could chase, you could steal, and you could very well buy back all the resources present in the world for a suitable price, except this one thing. Time; a construct with no beginning or end and yet human life as it lived, depended on it so much that entire schedules were constructed around it. Life as it passed was controlled with several variables, each different one deciding your fate. You could control most of it, except the major ones, like your birth, the condition of your birth, your parentage and clearly this whole school was having an effect on Arno, making the boy far too moody than he needed where just a minor failure set him onto a course regarding time and variables in life.

River Dolphin vs. Arapaima
Writing as NPC TatiAs Tati was trying to make herself usefull, she was walking around, carelessly, trying to distract the opponent with giving side looks to branches? to trees? Maybe even clime in one, look over the trenches and get back down, you know, create an illusion she might be protecting something? Playing this rather, heavy and even dangerous game since, she could get attacked at any moment and also spending time in such beautiful nature, felt confusing. Being here was enjoyable, playing the game? Rather uncomfortable. She continued to move around through the forest, in the zone, waiting for her next move, but as she does, a sudden heathwave strikes her, making her have to take a seat, trying to cool herself down.
But not too long after, the heath was slowly going down, to normal temperatures again. How she had gotten through that she had no idea, as she felt like the blood running through her vains was boiling. But she did. She gets back up, and remembers her mission, to not only find a flag, but most importantly, to try and protect one. Would protecting a flag make her a target? You would think it wouldnt because who says she is protecting the flag? No one could be certain, but then again, she was sure there were people in this game, participating just to get some hits at the opponent because, people were that visious? Wouldn't they be? As she noticed the opponent, she stood in front of it, protecting it with her life. But as she suddenly noticed a small spider crowling across her face, she now ran way protecting her own life.ReducioWC:270

✦ Speech ✦ Thoughts ✦
Pam vaguely wondered if she was taking on way too much work at a go. She wasn't really very good at multitasking, and with having to save her teammate— Mirada, if she remembered correctly— from marching into a watery death, she had to question her decision to attempt to lay a trap.
Still, maybe she had underestimated her ability to split her attention (was that even a thing?)
The thought had barely had time to settle before movement by the river caught her eye. Mirada was drifting toward the water with slow, deliberate steps, paying no heed to the uneven ground beneath her feet. She didn't answer when Pam called her name. The distant, melodic singing carried across the jungle, and the pieces clicked into place.
Crap.
"Oh, no you don't."
Abandoning the trap for the moment, Pam hurried after her teammate and caught hold of her arm just as the river's edge came into view. Mirada resisted for only a second before stopping, her expression still unfocused, as though literally nothing was registering in her brain.
It was creepy, to say the least.
Still, Pam couldn't just let her drown. Keeping one hand firmly on the girl's shoulder, she steered her away from the water until she was satisfied the pull of the iara had weakened.
What are they, freshwater sirens? How ridiculous.
Only then did she return to her half-finished trap. It wasn't exactly the best of traps she had laid, not that she had laid many traps before, and she'd probably spent far longer on it than intended, but with one last adjustment, the mechanism finally came together. She allowed herself a quiet nod of satisfaction before glancing back toward Miranda, hoping the girl hadn't decided to wander off again.

River Dolphin vs. Arapaima
Great. So, I lost concentration for a few seconds, and I almost drowned. At least I’d learnt from that mistake. One of my team mates, a fellow Hogwarts student, in the same year as me, rescued me, just in time. I felt my face go red. Embarrassing.
“Umm… thank you.”
I looked around, trying to avoid looking at the river. At least my embarrassment meant that I found out the flag definitely wasn’t in the zone.
Then, my vision stopped working. Someone had cast the “sibling” to my favourite duelling spell, mimblewimble. So, I had almost drowned, despite being a good swimmer, and now I was pretty much blind, with a blindfold over my face. Two bad things. At least I knew there wasn’t a flag there.
Hopefully this game would be over soon enough, preferably with my team winning, despite how little I had done to help them out.
I pulled my wand out of my pocket, and turned around in a circle, trying to work out where everyone was. It hadn’t occurred to me yet that I could just remove the blindfold.
So, I was in the zone with at least one ally, and at least one enemy. Hopefully, we had the upper hand.

Robin wasn’t quite sure what exactly her issue was, but none of her spells seemed to be working and it was incredibly frustrating. The only Hail Mary is that apparently the other teams flag had also been spotted- not that Robin was doing much help in that endeavor as she was still stuck in zone 2. She clung to Adeline’s side, eyes moving this way and that in order to keep up with the momentum of the game. A large oart of her just wanted to give up the game and go tromping through the jungle with a music box at her side and Addie for company, but the more competitive side made her want to bear down and yell while pounding her fists against her chest. Was gorilla mode an appropriate phrase for the jungle? Robin wasn’t sure, but she definitely hoped it was because that’s what she was channeling. It didn’t take long for Robin to realize that she had completely disassociated during the events of the game so she kind of had no idea what was happening. Regardless, the chaos that was ensuing around her made her very very happy. With a grin on her face, Robin bumped her friends shoulder with hers and flailed around, oblivious to the game in its entirety
River Dolphin vs. Arapaima

@The Arapaima Team
Claire really didn't want to climb a tree to get her wand back. She had tried coaxing the monkey down, begging and pleading, and even throwing a stick near it to scare it, but it just screeched and flipped her wand a few times. It must have been teasing her and deliberately messing with it just out of her reach. She had got really mad of the game going on without her and the monkey holding the wand where she could almost get it that she didn't think to ignore the monkey and hope it returned her wand.
Just then she heard the announcement and saw that someone from the other team had spotted their flag. There was nothing to do but climb the tree now. "I really didn't want to do this," she mumbled to herself in French, "but I see no other choice." Claire took out her borrowed tie and put her hair in a tight bun instead of a tight-ish ponytail that her hair had originally been in. She lifted her skirt and bunched it before placing a foot on a low notch of the tree.
She hesitated a bit because she had never climbed a tree before and then with her free hand grabbed a branch and started to pull her weight. It instantly hurt too bad and she was back on the ground, but luckily she didn't fall down. Claire looked down to straighten her skirt and then something hard and sticklike fell on her head as the monkey climbed away and screeched once more. She rubbed her head and then saw that it was her wand.
She instantly grabbed it and promised herself that she would hold onto it better. "Merci!" Thank you! she yelled after it. And to herself she quietly added, "Now, was that so hard?" Finally Claire could focus on winning this game. Hopefully she wasn't too far behind.
