Snowy Heartfelt Gifts
Paul came to the Great Hall with a cloth shopping bag with a logo of an Austrian skiing resort. The one they went to every year with his family. He was full of experiences, which was the reason why there was a huge, bright smile on his face.
His eyes first landed on Cassie, the girl who organized the club meetings. Hm, she looks nice. Of course she's nice, Paul, if she organizes a Volunteer Christmas gifts wrapping. Thought the down-to-earth part of his mind.
"Hello! Welcome to our third club meeting. I see you have brought some gifts. Please put them on the Gryffindor table!"
And so he did. He placed the whole bag there, but remained standing there, as if he were about to unpack it. And he did. There was a football and two volleball balls in his bag. Gifts from his mum. There was also a package of typical Scottish cookies from his grandma. Home-made soap from his other grandma and some bags of tea made by the boy himself. His dad sent a pendant which looked like a heart; an eternal reference to his job. His sister made two braided bracelets, one for him, which was safely wrapped around his wrist, and one for whoever it would be receiving it.
He then started folding the cloth bag, to insert it in the pocket of his jeans.
He looked over the tables, noticing faces familiar only from the common room and classes. "Hey everyone..." Did he greet with a wave.
He looked over the tables then. Writing was surely a no. Ribbons were better, but... something could go wrong in the process of tying. Sorting was cool, or wrapping itself.
Hm, which one will it be? Liar bliar limber lock! Scratch that, let's go to wrapping!
With that, he walked over to Hufflepuff table. "Eh..." Paul cleared his throat, so that the girl sitting there, @Lily Young, wouldn't get scared. "Hi. Would ye meind if I joined?" The boy's accent pierced through the silence at the wrapping table, as he pointed at a seat opposite Lily.
"I'm Paul, by the way. Gryffindor firstie." Did he introduce himself.
