The Great Hall was noisy. Kids were excited. Their voices seemed to boom even more by the way they echoed against the tall walls. It annoyed the tired dhampir. This whole day was going on for way too long and Nico finished her meal only barely. The food didn't taste as good as it used to. Maybe she could eat another snack before bed. Slowely and slightly wobbly, the young redhead got up, ironing the creases out of her skirt with her hands. Her face didn't show much traces of her lack of sleep, her skills in make-up, which were nearly unfathomable, made sure of that. The red touches of eyeshadow really made the blue in her eyes pop.

'I need some place to hear myself think...' She muttered, walking out. The Common Room would probably be pretty busy since everyone else was done eating dinner by now. Maybe a different route would suffice instead. She carefully combed a few strands of hair out of her eyes with her porcelain hands, before walking through the Small Hall. Things were... quieter there. Finally able to settle down, her eyes glanced at the walls. Slowely starting to relax, the tension in her shoulders ran thin, her jaw was no longer clenched... until... Her eyes narrowed at a specific note. The words on it seemed fine at first until she noticed who signed it. '... Tch.' Her jaw immediatly clenched again, her hands balled into tiny fists... Opeila Seilun. This girl. Was she even a girl? The dhampir scoffed at the idea. Trouble. That's all she was.
When did this girl ever stop making these... 'events'? They always... ALWAYS.. ended up in misery. Since no one was around to see the prefect, she could glare a hole into the note. Not really. But if she could. That note would've been turned to ash. The red dots in her blue hues flickering with pure disgust.

Nico couldn't ignore this. It was too late for that. Once more glancing at the location of the event, the dhampir made her way up the stairs, her hair elegantly bouncing with each step. Her pace was determined yet elegant. Finally reaching the lion's den, no one could look past the note that stuck to the wood of the door. 'Enter me.' Ugh. No.

The hallway was rather quiet and Nico wasn't sure if anyone had already joined this establishment, and because of that, she carefully leaned closer to the door and listened. Well. Guess there was already small amount of people inside. Really? With all the pent up anger, Nico had to control herself. She didn't come here to have fun, she wanted to make sure no one would die or cry or anything. She'd have to be a real prefect. Except, from a distance. The last thing she wanted was immediate interaction with the ... organiser... of this thing. With a deep sigh, the fires in her eyes died down, returning to her ice cold blues.

Quietly, she opened the door. She made sure to pick a moment where the visitors inside were the noisiest. Hopefully, they wouldn't really notice her. Once inside, Nico glanced around, staying close to the wall, gently leaning her hand on it. The small crowd that already arrived had a few familiar faces, but in the mindset this young Prefect was right now, she had no intention of approaching anyone. She knew that if they'd lay eyes upon her, she'd be seen as a moodkiller. Whatever. Acting as if this all didn't phase her, the dhampir eyed a spot in the far back of the classroom, near a window. Putting a candle aside, she'd sit down on the windowsil, giving her a good angle for keeping an eye on everyone else in the room. The smell of hot chocolat welled up in her nose, but she refused to take any cup from it. She'd be sober during this whole ordeal. Just in case something would happen. Occasionally, her hand would touch the wand beside her, on a side others wouldn't be able to see. Ready to pick it up at any moment.

Rose usually didn't go to parties. She usually would rather curl up with a book than socialize with other human beings.
Usually.
This party promised hot chocolate. Rose sure was excited for that part.
Hot chocolate was chocolate in a cup. Warm. With marshmallows. Who didn't like hot chocolate? Plus, getting hot chocolate with her dad was one of her favorite things to do when she was little. It was also one of her few memories of him.
Anyway, Rose saw the sign on the door that said,
"Enter me!"

And went in. She scanned the party for anyone she knew, but it seemed she would have to make friends with someone she didn't already know, which she had mixed feelings about. Rose was wearing a comfy dark red sweater over her t-shirt and short jean shorts. Gathering her courage, she made her way over to the table with the hot chocolate (the main reason she was here) and got a cup of warm, chocolatey goodness.
So eager to take a sip, Rose lifted the cup to her lips and slurped a little bit, blocking her view, while she was walking.
Aaaaaand crashed into a girl wearing a white nightgown and bunny ears. (Selene Ackermann)
Aaaaaand spilled her hot chocolate all over her sweater. Sputtering in surprise, Rose steadied herself and managed to say, "Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy like that!" she had a voice like honey, sweet and smooth, and was a little softer than usual when she talked. Her voice was strongly tinted with an American accent. Her face as red as her hair, Rose set the hot chocolate down and wiped her chin and her sweater with some nearby napkins. Taking off her sweater to reveal her white t-shirt that was underneath, Rose rubbed it a bit more with the napkin and tied it around her waist. Inwardly banging her head repeatedly against the nearest wall, she decided to make conversation and say, "I'm so sorry. Um, I'm Rose. Rose Moon."

After a few seconds of re-asking herself who it was, May recognized the girl that had made the event. Opeila Seliun! They had met each other right there, in that room. "Pei! I had completely forgo- remembered you!" May said, happily, as other people entered the room. May recognized a few people: Linsdey Springhall, Grace Mint and a few more people that she had seen in the school. And there was, of course, the spoil everything, Zykeal Lane. May rolled her eyes at him silently, and decided she wouldn't say anything to the nosy boy. It wasn't comfortable to speak or have him in the event. But she turned her attention to Opeila Seliun, "It's so great you organized the event! People all around are feeling depressed by the fires, mosps, and spiders that they need something more in the rules, don't you think?" May said happily.

She sat on a pillow and took a hot chocolate drink. She sipped it up a bit...yum, a delicious treat. "How are you doing Linsdey?" May addressed her Quill Pal and friend, Linsdey Springhall. Then, just to be polite, she looked and said to Zykeal: "I expect this to be fun, right?" and for the first time, she smiled at the Lane boy.

Then, May saw Nico Shymane, a prefect that she had met a few days ago enter. She was very well dressed, very differently than her shark onesie, and that was a very much May-like outfit she was wearing. Meanwhile, May was wearing an outfit she was proud of her outfit, but dismissed the thought.
May waved at the prefect and signaled her to sit down beside her.

It was beginning to near towards the end of the school year at a very quick pace now and Adonis was constantly on his toes at the ready for more interactions and new faces to meet. He had received a letter from his parents earlier that day, telling him to return home once the school year was out or after summer camp if there was one. Perhaps he would? Or maybe he wouldn't. Who knew? Adonis had no plans on returning home to his parents and instead had decided on staying with his grandfather and the rest of his family at Thorn manor for the summer. The letter put him in a not so positive mood at the time and now he was looking for something to do to distract his mind off of it.

As he was walking around the castle since classes were finished for the day now, Adonis came across a particular paper while at the small hall that caught his attention. So, of course, he obviously walked up to read it.

Hey there!
Feel free to join me in the classroom on the second floor at 7 pm this evening!
I'll organize pillows and hot chocolate and I'd be happy for you to pay me company. If you'd like to bring homework or books, go for it! We can also play some games! This evening can be whatever you like it to be and I'd be very happy to meet some people!
Feel free to wear whatever you like.
See you!

-Opeila Seilun

Upon reading the paper and what it said, his face immediately lit up with excitement at the prospect of it. A chance to meet and talk to new people once again and enjoy some hot chocolate along with games while at it. It was just the right thing to get his mind off of stuff back at home and completely forget all about it for the time being. So, the young man quickly set off towards the classroom a few minutes after 7 pm to arrive for the gathering. Upon entering the room, Adonis already spotted a few unfamiliar faces. The only familiar ones he saw were Opeila, Nico, and a Ravenclaw girl he remembered seeing in the changing rooms at the Blossom Ball.

He immediately got himself situated with a cup of hot chocolate, pouring some into a cup until it filled up to the very top. Adonis figured it would be best to acknowledge the hostess first before wandering off, so he walked up to Pei with a bright smile and nodded to her in acknowledgement. "Well done with setting this up. I'm glad to be here." Adonis told her with a wave before walking off to look around the room for someone to talk to. After looking around for a considerable amount of time, he couldn't help but notice one of his Slytherin Prefect's sitting alone again just like she had during their house cup celebration party. Why'd she seem to always distance herself from people? He expected a Prefect would be all up in the mix and right up front to see firsthand if anything was to happen. She on the other hand seemed reserved though. Adonis did always like talking to the odd man in gatherings and whatnot to make them feel included. Was it him just wanting to make himself feel like a good person? Maybe. Or that was just truly how he was. Inclusive and caring.

So, the next thing Adonis did was walk right on up to her with his usual warm smile and confident look to him as always. "Hey! What are you doing all alone again? Why don't you ever talk to anyone when you come to gatherings like these? If it's because you're a prefect then that's dumb. We're all still students here and equals to each other, just some of us have the authority to enforce rules is all, which would be you. Other than that I see no reason to be afraid of you." Adonis spoke his thoughts on the thing, shrugging at the end and taking a sip from his cup of hot chocolate.

Tallis had been walking around the school with her sketchbook for a while. It was almost summer and she still hadn't succeeded in making a single friend. Of course, she wasn't to surprised, she had gone her whole life like that. As she walked, she noticed that there was a note written by... a Opeila Seilun? Yes that was who wrote it. The note read that a classroom had been put together for the students to hang out in. Tallis stood there, thinking for a second, maybe this was her chance to finally meet someone. She decided that she would give a shot and if she just really couldn't put up with it she would leave, she could do this, she hoped.
She went back to her dorm to change in to something that was her school clothes. She eventually decided on something simple. https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/427982770839423924/
She looked at the clock and noticed that it was already seven. She quickly rushed to the classroom, making sure to pick up her sketchbook and making sure her hair still covered her blind eye. Once she got there she quietly opened the door, she was already late and didn't want to bring to much attention to herself. She looked around and there were a lot more people than she was expecting. She wasn't sure if any one had noticed her yet and so she quietly stood in one of the corners of the room. She decided that for now she would observe the room.

Opeila greeted her warmly.
“Thank you for hosting such a wonderful party!” Lindsey smiled to her.
May waved to Lindsey and asked how she’s been doing these days.
“Oh I’m very well these days! And you?” she said friendly to her quill pal and fellow Hufflepuff.
More people began coming in now. A boy, named Wish whom Lindsey didn’t know introduced him as a Hufflepuff too. Lindsey wondered if she had seen him. Nope, probably had missed.
“Um, hi Wish!” she said merrily. “I’m Lindsey, and that’s May, we are both in Hufflepuff too! Nice to meet you!”
When Lindsey tried to get back to her book, she suddenly saw someone she knew in the crowd. Cassandra Ironwoods and Zykeal Lane. She had met the two in the owlery, with AJ, a Ravencalw, and they talked about some stuffs about classes and wands.
“Hello Cassie!” she waved to them. “and you——Zyk right?” Lindsey said with a little uncertainty when turning to the Gryffindor. She did remember that he introduced him as Zyk at that time, but it seemed not that appropriate for now——what if he didn’t remember her?
“Anyway, after our last meeting, I read some books about wand and I found them exciting. Thanks for your recommendation!” she smiled.
But May seemed cold to him? Why? Lindsey felt confused. However she remarked and said nothing, went back to her book, while keeping an eye at the door like just now.

Selene herself was minding her own business, recalling the time where she helped a lost girl find her way to Gryffindor. She couldn't help but slightly smirk remembering the fact that her reputation grew like a forest on fire. Was it hers? COme to think of it, the one speaking to the Gryff girl wasn't Selene, but the one and only 'Moon Rabbit'. She sometimes cringes at the name but oh well, the rush of excitement made her brain go-slightly off the roof..? Perhaps. Either way, the hot chocolate tasted very good. The warm feeling it gives through her fingertips and the aromatic smell of it, it reminds her of home. Chocolates are known to make a person feeling happier. What were the chemicals called again? Tyranny? Tryophant? Ah! Tryptophan. Other components of chocolate that may contribute to a burst of happiness are phenylethylamine and theobromine...God, she sounds like a smartass just know, was it that important explaining the components of a drink? But it indeed made her calmer. Selene mentally noted to herself to not drink too much of it, even if she loved sweets she knows the limit to protect her pearly white teeth. Even if all of them will tumble one by one over time, well it'll grow into mature ones.

Selene was thinking of ways to approach both Ironwoods, as well as Seilun. But Oh-my how the tables have turned! She introduced and approached, Selene. Well isn't this fun? She's heard a lot about the girl's many scandals or incidents after all. It would be fun to join in on the very now and then. Of course, she'll be careful of her emotions and mayhaps wear another mask. Is it a mask...? Because, her 'mask' is every piece of herself that shattered alongside her childhood back in the old days, betrayal, a dysfunctional family, just name it. Let's not forget her dead mom, character development has to start somewhere right? Besides a Beetlejuice reference is needed once in a while. Selene examined the girl, for a moment she thought the girl was the hermit type, a loner who distances herself from others to protect herself. Wait no, that's other Slytherin students as well, 80% of the time they are but some are Disney villains dear lord. Trust Issues are real and mental heartbreaks as well first love experiences stay with you like a scar and, if she could say it to the girl in front of her, the rumors about her and a certain flower boy dating, what would the girl's reaction be? 'Why would you like someone who you don't even know? Why would you care for someone so much and name it 'love'? It took Selene months to try to get over Jeremy. She still hasn't moved on huh? That's a girl for you. Ah, youth.
And another dormmate entered, one Opeila had not talked to before. Opeila was about to greet her when the raven-haired girl rushed past her to the cocoa table. With her mouth opened, Opeila froze for a second, confused about the girl's entrance. "Yeah, I- Pleasure to meet you too..."
Maybe she was just shy like the boy and tried not to show it. Opeila decided not to let it bother her and smiled at her instead. "You are from my dorm, aren't you? I don't think we talked yet, right? Could you tell me your name again?" A lot had happened the last months and her dorm had quite a several members, it was forgivable to forget some of them, was it? She hoped the girl wouldn't be offended.
@Opeila Seilun

Fortunately enough for the lady of the house herself, tonight and only for tonight. Selene was going to not be a bitch, well..kinda. If she has to, of course, she enjoys being one for sure but hey! You wouldn't know if it's Selene speaking or just another one of her alter ego's or aura she made to tease someone for her own beneficial needs and merit. Sometimes she gets herself into a situation that unknowingly becomes useful to her, it's just like someone shot her to the head with a sudden plan and 'poof!' there it was the smile that gave an aura such as a heartless sadist. But she Selene isn't one, or is she? Depends on who she's talking to. This time it was missing popular herself, so let's try not to be too rough on her. Selene was sure she could do that, or could she?

"You want me to tell you my name, yet I haven't known yours yet? Is that it?" Selene asked in a sly smile, a charming one. Her voice? Well of course it was adorable, an adorable child will soon and will always have puberty hit them like Mercedes on full speed. That's what happened to her so it must be true. It's silk-like, a little bit deep for her age but attractively pleasing to hear similar to an 'ASMR' video of the sort the one her Aunt told her. Selene couldn't help but chuckled a little. "Just kidding. A pleasure to meet you, yes we're in the same dorm tho most of the time I'm far away." Selene continued, somehow the aura radiating around her can both be charming but also well, dangerous at the same time..if one must look closely enough. She didn't care much about the fact that she's wearing eyemask to an event. While most others look like they're, oh well, as if they weren't tired enough and were ready to have their fashion meeting For an example. a party at 1 a.m in the bloody morning where you would think everyone was wearing something comfy, but now they look like they're ready to go to prom. How old were most of them again? Ah yes, 12 years old. Keep that in mind. Nevertheless, she had to control her inner-self, being wary of crossing the line.

"The name's Ackermann. How lovely of you to throw an event at this time of night." She said it's up for the girl to think of it as sarcasm or a compliment. waving her hand with another eye-smile. Selene wasn't one to complain tho, there's hot chocolate. It's one of the reasons why she's keeping the tip of her tongue to herself. Seilun might become useful, very useful to her.

Selene then glanced, she wasn't idiotic enough to forget her manners. The short-haired person, besides Seilun girl, the person was none other than Cassandra Ironwoods herself, of course as a child of a company that produces many things worldwide, Selene always tries her best to keep tabs on people important to be associate with. "And you, if my memory serves me right..you're from the Ironwoods lineage, are you not? " They brought a guitar with them, ah, so the person was a guitarist. A lover of music. Selene examined the person once more, she didn't know exactly why but suddenly something clicked, perhaps it was her intuition telling her, that Ironwoods will be very important in some sort of way. This is Selene we're talking about here, with Wisdom as her most top ability and accuracy as the second, her hunch will always be correct. It runs in the family.
@Cassandra Ironwoods
"Hello Cassie, who is your friend?," he asked the Slytherin in front of him, peering towards the other girl to the side as he lingered his gaze a little too long as he tried not to see too many similarities between this girl and another he knew, he'd try not to judge.
Suddenly of course, out of all times, someone just had to interrupt. Quite the handful and the person perhaps did not notice Selene was there, standing. She tried to pay no mind to it, well, of course, it irritated her, very much so but she tried to hold it in. 'Smile, Selene you're never fully dressed without one.' She quietly took a deep breath as her eyebrows twitched. Ah, the person most have not noticed her. Well if the person does, might as well point out her eyemasks, they're very glittery and moisturizing! She glanced at the person, before turning her attention elsewhere across the room. Then, another person came, the only our dearest prefect. She didn't seem too pleased about this whole event tho, she seemed more as if she was watching and scanning them, like a mother being careful about what will happen. Selene wouldn't judge her tho, the rumors of Seilun's events getting into trouble spread like wildfire. But of course, it wouldn't stop any of the students.
@Zykeal Lane @Nico Shymane
Aaaaaand crashed into a girl wearing a white nightgown and bunny ears.
Aaaaaand spilled her hot chocolate all over her sweater. Sputtering in surprise, Rose steadied herself and managed to say, "Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy like that!"
Luckily enough, Selene managed to make sure the others aside from did not get any stain or burnt whatsoever from the hot chocolate. Well, of course, she made sure to block it with her arm, therefore her nightgown would not smell like Chocolate and have ants crawling all over it, Selene shivered at the thought. She hates bugs. However, instead of biting the girl with her tongue, Selene's words came out very stern yet calm, stoic one most say. Good enough her arms were not injured. "Be careful next time." She said glaring straight at the girl, it quickly dissipated, however, turning once more into a smile. She must maintain good standing. Be very careful of who's around her. As soon as the person told them their name. Selene couldn't help but examine her with her diamond-like eyes. Must she introduce herself to the girl? Ah right, manners exist and deception is a trait. "Ackermann." She replied, her attention going elsewhere once more towards a Hufflepuff boy and another Slytherin student. 'My-my, quite popular aren't we? This is getting slightly suffocating..but oh well, you win some you lose a few hundred.'One thing was that Selene was not a wallflower. Primadonna is in her dictionary for a reason.

Cassie put both of their hands up, "Hey, do not chew me up and beside this is nice"Cassie said to their dorm mate. "I think it only fair if you know my name. We have been dorm mate for a year and yet you do not know my name, whereas I know yours. My name is Cassandra Ironwoods, Cash for short"Cash introduce their name formally to the other girl.

It is time to use my other nickname beside I am getting bored with Cassie, they thought."If you do not want called this a party,"Cash eyes observe their surrounding. "A get-together then"They playfully smirk to Opeila. Another girl had come after them, after she greet the occupants of the room shortly, she directly went to the table where the hot chocolate located.

"Rude"Cash grumbles under their breath. But then Opeila look at the guitar that Cash put down near the many pillows. "Sure. I love to play for all of you. Any particular song on your mind?"The green eyes girl inquires. Then another person enter the room. Cassie smile at the new arrival. "Yo Zyk!"Cash half shouted to the boy.

Cash never been excited to meet another person but for the red head boy, they can make it an exception. When Zyk stand in front of the Cuban descendant and the other girl, asking who is is Cash provide the answer. "This is Opeila"Cash mentions. By this minute slowly the occupants of the room grow.

From the corner of their eyes, they saw their Prefect. The young dhampir sit down on the windowsill, perhaps ready to intervene if something went wrong. A boy from their house grace the classroom with his presence following by a girl. The girl stood on one of the corner of the classroom. What intrigue Cash was the way her hair cover one of her eyes.

But for now, Cash let the girl be. Lindsey then greet them. "Well hello to you too, Hall"Cash smile. "Uh.. I think I am going to grab some hot chocolate. See you guys later"Cash excuse themselves and walk towards the table. They step got halted when a red head girl spilled her hot chocolate onto their other dorm mate that stand beside the table.

Cash reign themselves not to let out their sarcastic remark with how careless the red head girl is. When the girl profusely said her apology, Cash really really tried to hold their tongue. Cash then grab a cup of hot chocolate and glance at the now ruined white nightgown girl with the bunny ear. "Estás bien?"Cash enquires the other girl. "Er.. what I mean to say is are you okay?"Cassie questions the girl.

Lizzie had defiantly smirked when noticing the note that was stuck outside the Small Hall. It was just another event that she could find herself conversing with other people to help her status around the school go up. It wasn't that big off a deal but it was defiantly helpful to know your students and peers who had a reputation.

The Raven had sneaked away from any people she had been messing around with at the Common Room and set off for the Classroom where it was all being held. Hopefully, it was actually safe and legal. Lizzie did not want a repeat of the Blossom Ball or the Forest [especially, since she cut her hands open].

She had recently taken it upon herself to carry a tin whistle around her all the time. Just in case something ever needed to be played. It was so she didn't have to go threw the struggle of learning the guitar and piano without embarrassing and making a fool of herself.

The girl bounded into the room on a soft mention of music, "Did I hear something about someone playing?" She grinned while standing in the door way making jazz hands. It was one of her big entrances that people sometimes found weird but put others in a funny, happy mood. If it made one person laugh then that was fine.

"I'm the master of music." She grinned putting her hands on her hips and nodded. She had literally been studying music her whole life. Dedicating it to all becoming really good at one thing. She didn't even have a back up plan. That's how sure she was going to become famous and very successful.

She turned to the one who had spoken about music, "Cassie!" She ran over to her best friend careful not to knock anything over like something had already been done previously. She grabbed the girls shoulders and shook them "You were planning to make music without me?" She pouted and pretending to start crying but then plastered another smile on her face.

She looked around the room to see who else was there. She new most of them but there were a few people here or there she had never been introduced to. Looking to the side of Cassie, Lizzie's smile faltered. It was just the person who had agreed to scheme with her. She put on a smirk and cocked her head to the side a bit. "Oh hey Zyk. Haven't seen you in a while." She said crossing her arms.

Lizzie plopped onto the ground and brought out her tin whistle. She twirled it in her fingers and looking around the room once again. She wanted to learn at least one persons name. So the girl searched for the closest person who she had yet to learn the name of. Eventually, she found someone against a wall with no one to interact to. She picked up her whistle and balanced it on her ear.

The blonde grinned and waved at her. It was the perfect way to make some acquaintances around the school. "Hello. I'm Lizzie." She said holding her hand out in hopes of the girl returning the nice gesture. She did look a bit fed up. If she was that bored or annoyed why was she even at the met up thing.

With the month of June and the school year slowly coming to an end, Lydia had spent most of June trying to pick up her grades after she had collected some "A" that had threatened her academic grades. But now that she was back on track, with the "O" replacing the other bad grades, the young Hufflepuff had decided to try and exit the antisocial mindset she had adopted after the Blossom Ball.

When she had seen Pei's note in the Small Hall, Lydia had figured that it might have been a good idea for her to meet new people, enjoy a book and some chocolate, and reconnect with those that she already knew. At dinner she decided not to eat too much, both because her appetite wasn't quite back yet and because she wanted to be able to properly enjoy the hot chocolate at the party; after that, she walked back to her dorm to change into something comfortable. She was almost tempted to wear a pair of pyjamas, but since on the note it never said that it would have been a pyjama part, she decided against it.

Instead, she wore a simple white t-shirt with a V neckline, a pair of grey joggers and a brown cardigan on top, just in case she would have been cold during the party, on her feet her usual pair of black slip-on vans; to complete everything, she had her hair up in a messy bun, a couple of strands of hair falling down and framing her face, and the friendship bracelet that Aaron had made her back in March.

Once she was ready, Lydia took with her a book - "Pride and Prejudice" to be precise- since Pei said they could have brought books with them to the party, and she made her way towards the classroom on the second floor.

Lydia arrived there not too long after 7 pm, and she couldn't help but smile at the little note on the door. She gently pushed the door open and walked inside; everything looked extremely cosy, with the candle light and the smell of hot chocolate in the air; some people had already arrived, and aside from Opeila, Lydia recognised May, a fellow Hufflepuff that had helped her during the Ball, and Lizzie, a Ravenclaw girl she had met back in April.

Not really feeling like intruding on Opeila's conversation, she waved at her, hoping that she would see her, before she walked towards the hot chocolate. Pouring herself a mug, the book safely stuck under one arm, Lydia looked around and wondered what to do; in the end, she walked towards the windows and sat down on the windowsill, her back against the wall, her legs brought up to her chest, and the mug of hot chocolate on the book that she had put down on the windowsill next to her.
