Born on May 20, 2014, in Manhattan, New York City, newly wedded couple, and now parents, Asher and Sophia Maye, welcome in their first born daughter, Mackenzie Maye, into their slowly growing family. Her parents are successful lawyers. Her mother, Sophia, works as a lawyer for Wills and Estates, while her father, Asher, works as a District Attorney. Her parents want Mackenzie to have a successful job, which she'll love, but her parents do want her to work in the law firm. However, that all shattered when she got her first instance of magic and discovered that she's a witch.

Mackenzie lived a normal life as a nomaj. She attended an elementary school and made friends but wasn't too keen on sports. She was more of an arts girl so writing, drama, art that sort of thing brought her joy. Mackenzie had a small friend group at her school, but when she found out she was a witch, she didn't tell them.

A week after Mackenzie had turned 11 years old, a representative from Ilvermorny came to her house after school and sat down with her and her parents and explained that Mackenzie is a witch and has been accepted into the wizarding school, Ilvermorny. Mackenzie and her parents were shocked when they found out, but they allowed Mackenzie to go to the school thinking it'd be a great experience for her.


It was a hot and sunny day, and 8-year-old Mackenzie wanted to go outside, but she had to stay inside because it was too hot outside.
So Mackenzie decided to do arts and crafts instead. She went to her bedroom and she sat down on the chair in front of her desk. She began taking out her art supplies from her art supplies bin on her desk. She took out some paper, a pair of scissors, markers, and a pencil. She wanted to make a flower and cut it out so she could stick it on her wall for decoration. She drew a flower on the paper with her pencil, and she began coloring it in with her markers.

She had finished coloring the flower, so then she picked up the paper. But as she picked it up, she got a paper cut on her finger. So then she went to the kitchen to get a Band-Aid. But when she picked up the band-aid box, she looked at her finger and the cut was gone. She told her parents about it, and they were confused about how it happened. Then Mackenzie just went back to her bedroom and sat back down in the chair in front of her desk. She cut out her flower, and she took out some tape and taped the flower to her wall. Then Mackenzie put her art supplies back in her art supplies bin on her desk.
