♡♡♡♡♡♡It was a good morning for a walk. And a better morning for climbing a tree. Okay, maybe not the best day to climb a tree, but when else are you going to? It was summer. The time of year where you could do anything (maybe not anything) that you want to! So, today, Riley decided she would climb a tree. Yes, she would do it.
So here she was, knees slightly scraped, crouching on a strangely thick tree branch. After a few minutes of hanging out there, Riley began to get bored. It was strange, because being an only child, she would always find things to do. Reading, dancing. drawing. Even coming up with stories in her head. But today was different.
Maybe Riley had grown spoiled with things to do and people to speak with.
Riley looked around for a moment. She breathed the warm air. She was actually peaceful for a second. That second ended when she realized she couldn’t get out of the tree.
”… what the heck?”
Her pant leg had caught on a small branch still out, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t free herself. Riley struggled for a while, then stopped suddenly. She could hear footsteps growing closer. Someone was approaching her.

One could say it was never a bad time to take a walk. Sure, he usually preferred to go further out on the grounds or by the lake, but he was due for a change of pace. That's how he ended up here.WC: 316

Felix had been minding his own business at first. He'd planned to find some place to read or at least relax for a bit, and figured that one of the trees would be a good spot for that. So he'd walked over.
Everything had appeared normal. He could hear some birds, and it was warm, pleasantly so. it was a great day to be out. But then he heard a noise, so, of course, he looked up. It took him a moment to actually see anything, but, when he did, he was a little surprised.
And there was a person? In the tree, really? That was not what he'd been expecting when he'd looked honestly. No judgement though, tree climbing was one of the most fun things to do out here, and he would stand by that.
Felix didn't recognize her at all, but that wasn't saying much when she was up in the tree and he didn't have a particularly clear view. Maybe he'd just wait and see what was up? Or leave her alone because she was probably just having fun. Or maybe he could just talk to her. Plenty of options there, and he was bored. So he went with the last option.
He put a hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun, and looked up at the girl. She seemed to be in a bit of an odd position. If he guessed, just off of that, he'd say she was stuck. However, he didn't wan to jump to that conclusion right away, so he just called up.
