Dealla felt a bit calmer as she followed Professor Karr back to where she had left the others, and she let her eyes trail over the rest of the Quidditch pitch.
The fires were gone now, the smoke dissipating by the second, and the other professors had come to aid with the insects which she now, that she actually paid attention to them for the first time, recognized to be Mosps. How strange. Why had an entire swarm of Mosps decided to show up and attack the students?
And yet, between all of that, there were still students fighting each other. What could be so important to warrant a fight in this situation?
Shaking her head, Dealla focused back on the situation at hand. Neither the red-head on the broom nor the boy seemed to have moved while she had been gone, but they both looked up now that Professor Karr was approaching.
She'd made the right call in running to get help, Dealla decided as she watched the unconscious boy get up by himself after the Professor's spell. None of them could have done that, and the risk of hurting him further had been too high.
She nodded in response to the instructions- they seemed sound, there was probably some sort of emergency hospital being set up in the Great Hall - and readied herself to follow the sleepwalking boy, but instead of doing the same, both of the others left, shortly after one another, although with the assurance that they would be back.
Dealla shrugged, following them with her eyes for a moment, but then hurried after the unconscious boy she had been tasked with guiding. As far as she was concerned, her role at this ball was over. All these people fighting each other, prioritizing whatever dispute they had over the lives of everyone involved, clearly didn't deserve help, and she had no desire to get herself into the middle of that by playing the hero.
Without another look back, she kept to the side of the sleepwalker, ready to intercept should he stumble or walk into the wrong direction.
It was time for Dealla to leave. She had seen everything.

Secret Blossom Ball
Aaron's spell burst forth from his wand, but it seemed to be too late. He watched in horror as the flying creature descended on Lydia, and its twin stingers found purchase in her leg. His eyes practically bugged out of his head when she cried out in pain.Interacting with @Lydia Cooper, @May Moonstar and @Rafael D'Spacito
"Lydia!" he screamed, fear and panic evident in his voice. His spell collided with the mosp too little, too late. The creature began to do a little jig just as Aaron noticed a spell launching itself towards Lydia. "Watch out!" he called, still unable to interfere due to his legs dancing uncontrollably. He watched as his blue-haired friend threw herself to the ground to avoid the spell while he looked for the source. It was May again, and he found himself beyond angry with the blonde girl. What the hell was she doing? First she cursed him into a dance, and now she was attacking Lydia! Accident or not, she was dangerous!
All of a sudden, Aaron's legs stopped dancing of their own accord. Relief flooded him as he realized he had control again. Then came the panic again. Lydia was hurt. He dashed to her side, just barely noticing May raise her wand again. At least this time she seemed to be aiming for the stinging creature and not a person, but knowing her track record, she would probably impede a professor next.
"May, back off! She doesn't need your amateur help! You're causing more harm than good, so just get back to the castle!" Aaron barked angrily, taking May's place and kneeling at Lydia's side. He didn't care if he hurt May's feelings. He didn't care if treating her meanly cost him his place on the Quidditch team. All he cared about was his best friend, who was bleeding on the ground.
"Lydia, are you okay?" Aaron asked, his voice much gentler with his best friend as opposed to May. He looked around again and a certain Gryffindor caught his eye.
"Rafael, I got Lydia! You take care of that thing!" he called, his tone suggesting there was no room for argument. He was referring to the (ninth) creature that had been following them since the stage. With that said, Aaron turned back to Lydia and offered her a hand so he could help her to her feet. Forget the rest of the people here at the ball. He had to get her out of here and to the Hospital Wing.
"Let's get out of here."

It looked as if Lydia's luck for the night had officially expired.
She had no idea how it happened: one second she was ready to attack the mosp with her music stand, the one after the bug was launching itself at her. The blue-haired girl had no time to react, and she couldn't do anything against the mosp's powerful stingers that found their way into her right thigh. A high pitched scream left her lips as the insect's natural daggers pierced her skin, blood already staining her lovely teal dress; she did however, manage to hit the insect as it backed away, preparing to attack her once more. Together with the pain from the wound, a burning sensation, similar to when a wasp stings you, just way worse, started spreading in her leg just as tears started gathering up in her eyes.
Lydia vaguely heard Aaron's warning and managed to dodge May's spell just in time, throwing herself on the ground; she sat up, her eyes fixed on the now soaked area of her dress that was right where those stingers had punctured her leg. She knew she had to apply pressure to the wound, that she needed to make sure to lose as little blood as possible, but right there, in the middle of the chaos, Lydia's brain was kind of foggy.
Eyes wide, she looked up at May and shook her head. What did she mean, find someone with a broom? In no way she would have gotten on one of those, not in that condition and with a massive dress on. "No, please no brooms..." she faintly said, but before she could continue her attention got captured by Aaron. Her best friend was right next to her, and Lydia couldn't have been happier to see him. Her eyes widened again as she heard him talking with May, "Aaron! She's just trying to help!" she scolded her friend, before shaking vehemently her head. "That bloody insect stung me in the leg," she said and, as if to reinforce the concept, she pressed her hands over the two twin-holes.
The feeling of the blood over her hands was disgusting, a wave of nausea made its way up the girl's stomach, but Lydia resisted the urge to throw up, that would have only been counterproductive. When Aaron talked with Rafael, the blue-haired girl's eyes zeroed on the Gryffindor boy, and she felt relieved in seeing that he had managed not to get himself killed for that moment; then she focused back on her best friend.
"I'm not going anywhere Aaron! There's- other people need more help than me. Also, it's our fault all of this happened, I'm not going to abandon this sinking ship as if it was the Titanic." she told him, a determined look on her face.Stats:No action taken yet.

May could feel Aaron's arm pushing her out of Lydia's side, clearly scared of May hurting her friend more. May's eyes widened as Lydia told him that May was trying to help. "Well of course I'm trying to help!" May snapped back at the half Asian half British boy, that May knew was part of the Quiddich team. "You want her to survive, don't you?! Then let me help her!"
She glared at Aaron, and showed him her first aid kit. If he was a Muggleborn, it would've had been clear that the item was used in hospitals. Muggle ones.
"L-Lydia, I don't know how you want us to take you to the castle. T-this isn't a place where we can just abandon you like that! I don't know you, but I've seen you in the common room. I-I don't want you to die!
Everything had blurted out at that moment. Katrina was about to die, Santario Martin too, Victor Moore. May felt a huge wave of tears coming, but she contained them. She couldn't faint right there, where the blue haired girl's best friend stood, when so many people needed help and medical care. And most of all, those mosps weren't going to get out easily. She looked at Aaron firmly, and forgot about herself being scared...and feeling quote lonely. "You go and alert someone! Somebody big! Or if not, we will just go together and carry Lydia to the castle! I'm strong. And you're...strong enough." she gave him a reassuring nod, and hoping that this once he would let her care for Lydia's injuryes, she sprayed some medical alcohol into a cotton tissue. "This could get infected...." May said to herself. This could get very harsh.

Satisfied that the students would heed what the professor had to say, Kateri focused her attention elsewhere. Her eyes surveyed the pitch looking where to head next when she turned to realize... two of the three were already gone. She let out a short sigh, hopefully they would make whatever they had to do quick. Lian's snake was already making quick work on the pitch, chowing down on mosps, and as far as Vernatis she hoped he was staying safe himself while helping the students around him. More students seemed to be rushing from the pitch thankfully. Though some were fighting each other.
"Hey!" Kateri growled and waved a hand in the direction of a handful of students who appeared to be either casting spells at each other or throwing punches and kicks like wild animals. Boy oh boy were they going to get a good helping of detention for sure! This was no time to be going after one another! Wand firmly in hand still, the young woman was about to storm over to the group when another student called out to her. The ruffians would have to wait...
Across the way a blonde haired girl kneeling next to another student was calling out to her. More yelling from the group pulled at the professor's attention, she had to prioritize. A hurt student needed her and by the sounds of it the girl who had called out to her. Not to mention it appeared as if a boy was dancing just next to them before he suddenly lurched forward. Kateri's brows knit together in frustration. With all the tension of the ball and chaos the students seemed to be at each other's throats when they should be working together. Running over to the small group, Kateri quickly assessed the situation as the blonde girl snapped at the boy.
Raising her hands at the group, she tried to calm them all down. "It's alright, tell me what happened." She asked the two who weren't wounded, wanting to keep their minds busy and mouth instead of arguing with one another. Listening to them, should they explain, Kateri gave a wave to the blonde haired girl who had been smart enough to bring what looked like first aid supplies. "That was kind of you but I'll see to it then you both need to escort your friend out of the ball. Go directly to the Great Hall, there will be help there." Her brown eyes pierced the three of them giving them the look of 'I mean it' since the last boy had been quick to rush off and ignore what she had to say. "It will be alright, I promise. Your friend needs your help, so you both need to be strong for her, okay?" Her eyes softened as she gave a wave of her wand and murmured the incantation directed at the girl's leg. "Reparifors."
Should the spell work.
Seeing that the girl would be in good hands with her two friends, Kateri once more urged the three to head to the Great Hall, stressing the need to skip going to the Hospital Wing. "Now go, we'll take care of everything." She would look to the other girl that she had healed and put a hand gently on her shoulder if allowed, a small squeeze of reassurance. "And do not worry, it is not your fault." Having caught the tail end of her frustrations earlier, feeling responsible for the others, Kateri did not want the girl to worry herself anymore, nor any of them for that matter.
Should the spell NOT work.
Clearly the noise around her and arguing had drawn focus away from her spell-casting. If the blonde hair girl had not brought bandages, nor enough, Kateri would yank off her plaid button up and tear off a section for a makeshift bandage. Making sure the fabric was tight enough to keep pressure but not so tight the girl would loose feeling, asking to be sure as she finished tying off a second strip of her shirt over the wound. There was no time to waste trying to cast another spell when the trio needed to leave the dangerous pitch. "Now be careful, support each other the three of you and get to the Great Hall, do not go to the Hospital Wing." There would still be the matter of the poison to attend to but if they could quickly get to the Great Hall then it would be handled. She would look to the other girl that she had healed and put a hand gently on her shoulder if allowed, a small squeeze of reassurance. "And do not worry, it is not your fault." Having caught the tail end of her frustrations earlier, feeling responsible for the others, Kateri did not want the girl to worry herself anymore, nor any of them for that matter. "Now go, we'll take care of everything."

[font=Segoe Print][font=Segoe Print] Well, if the Ball was damned to fire, its attendees cursed to the terrible turn of events that had befallen them, let it never be said that no useful information was wrought from the horrendous experience. Rafael, in fact, had learned a lot. Like how terrible mosps were at aiming.
The vengeful creature from hell had swooped low over the head of the young Captain, stinger brandished ominously in the air as its beady eyes narrowed in on its handsome target. And, in normal circumstances, such might have been enough to overcome a first year. However, Rafael was no typical adversary. No, the Thunderbird had garnered quite the reputation for his resilience, difficult handling, poor impulse control – and, contrary to popular opinion, he found great pride in these imperfections, as they were a strength as much as they were a weakness. They would certainly help him today – his own sharp brown eyes following the winged demon, he’d immediately picked up on its sudden change of direction, his reflexes driving him into a baseball-like slide and carrying him to the right-hand side of the creature and under its dangerous stinger. The mosp had been checkmated. Now the predator of the dispute, the young Captain launched himself from his slide position, fist outstretched as it crashed into the face of the damned mosp –
He would watch with a smug sort of delight as the impact registered to the hellish animal, the momentum of the child’s fist sending the mosp tumbling, dirt flying through the crisp spring air as the animal crashed through the pitch’s fresh grass. There was something just… amazing, about gazing upon the limp, lifeless body of the cursed bug, knowing that he had been responsible for its death. He was finally the menace he had always strived to be. It was then, that he would have an existential crisis – life was fragile, and anyone was capable of ending it. But he’d never anticipated the joy one would feel upon doing such an act – ending life, he’d learned, was actually rather fun, enjoyable in a way the child couldn’t quite put into words. A sadistic, twisted feeling, he knew that much, but his conscience could do nothing to stifle the strange grin spreading across his face. There were still mosps flying about? Perhaps he would have to indulge himself, explore this new, unfamiliar feeling in more depth. Feel the rush of power as life left the eyes of his victim.
His euphoria would be short-lived.
A flash of movement tugged at the gaze of the sadistic, blood-hungry child, his deep brown eyes shifting to focus on something else. A sight that made his skin crawl in disgust, his stomach sick in worry. It was Lydia, blood running down her leg as the pain she surely felt contorted her face, a shrill scream erupting from her lips – at the very sound, the child stepped back, wincing as if his headache had just increased tenfold. It had. Perhaps it was the emotional wringer he had just been put through, perhaps Lydia’s acute distress was just the cherry on a cake of frustration, fear, and fatigue. He knew he couldn’t take much more of this, this, mental torture. He was at the point where he couldn’t even register the people caring for his former date, nor the order Aaron had so eloquently given him, no – the pounding in his temples was too immense, his mind too scrambled to make heads or tails of the situation he found himself in. What he could make sense of, was the source of the problem. Himself, and the mosp. They both would have to suffer for what they had done.
He’d royally screwed up the girl’s night, as well as his own. The least he could do was make amends. Maybe, if he was lucky, he would even get stung in the process. Where was he drawing his energy from? He didn’t know. His knees felt weak, his eyes heavy from the damage and exhaustion he had put himself through. Perhaps it was the adrenaline, need to protect that which was his. Or, perhaps he was running on energy he didn’t have, a debt he would have to repay tenfold when the danger finally deserted his midst. But that wasn’t relevant. His lip quivering, eyes sharpening in anger, he once again leaned back on the balls of his feet, preparing for the momentum he was about to force upon the cursed mosp. Then, rocking forward, he began sprinting once more, focusing all the energy he had into damning the bat from hell to a long, painful death. “Oh, no you don’t, motherfucker!” he would yell into the air, trying its hardest to garner its attention. Then, regardless of whether or not he gained it, he would launch off his feet, right for the back of the hated creature –

Things were turning into slow motion as his now blurry vision looked up to the mosp, expecting another attack at any second. Suddenly, a heavy goblet was thrown from the opposite end of the room and clanged off the mosps head, rocking the animal as he looked around for its attacker. Soon after, a chair was flung at the more alert mosp, who managed to dodge a bullet this time. It was clear the mosp was facing attack on all fronts at this point, and was struggling who to go for first. However, the mosp never really had a chance.
Out of the blue, a giant green snake strikes from under the table, launching itself up to consume the mosp whole. The crunching almost made Percy sick as he struggled to keep himself up, his body naturally beginning to fall to the write out of tiredness. In front of him, a figure began to run over with a wand in hand. All he could make out was the person lifting their wands and saying "Reparifors" a spell which healed any wounds on the persons body. Almost instantly, the pain started to subside and as well as the flowing of blood. However, he still felt tired and weak from the loss of blood and effects of the poison, something of which kept him in a sitting position for now. He slowly noticed that his body was able to move again, but only at a laboured pace.
Percy breathed at a slow pace as he brought up his left arm to pull off what was left of his suit, revealing a smart buttoned t-shirt was covered in a mixture of fresh and dry blood "Íosa Críost..." he said from the sight of his t-shirt, shocked himself by how much there was. Even though the pain had gone and the blood was dealt with, his face was still ghostly pale. He wasn't sure if the poison was still in his system, but knowing his movement was better was a good sign.
His gaze slowly went up to the professor, a small yet relieved smirk forming at the corner of his lips while he struggled to keep his heavy eyes from closing "Your... timing is impeccable... professor" he croaked out, before slowly lifting a hand out for him to help get into a standing position. All he wanted to do now was get out of this battlefield with what he had left, and that was very little right now.

May's words towards Aaron about wanting her to survive sent the girl into a panic mode; what did she mean with that, did she think Lydia might die? That was the least thing the blue-haired girl needed to hear that night; without realising it, Lydia had started hyperventilating, as she looked back and forth between her best friend and May. She couldn't die, not like that, not when she was still so young!
Lydia bit down on her bottom lip again, as she tried to calm down, but her thoughts were completely without any control, as the anxiety reigned all over them. Then, a familiar voice reached Lydia's ears, and she looked at the Astronomy Professor and, even though she knew she had asked Aaron and May, she answered her question. "One of the mosps stung me in the leg, and then I fell and- and..." Lydia's voice was shaky, her anxiety quite obvious in her tone. Her eyes then widened as she watched Professor Karr cast a spell on her leg.
A gentle touch and squeeze on her shoulder made Lydia look up at Professor Karr and shook her head. She didn't understand, it was her fault, she had come up with the idea with Aaron, and now the students were all in danger. "But- Professor, it is my fault. We organized this and now everything is in chaos! We- " Lydia's voice froze the moment she realised she had just admitted of being one of the people that had organised the ball; but after all, she would have come clean with the Professors anyway, since a lot of people had gotten hurt, and she would never stood silent if the others would have gotten punished and not her as well. "There was an emergency plan, we told everyone about it! But it's like they forgot and now these giant bugs are stinging everyone. I-" She took a deep breath as she felt the panic raise again, her heart beating fast in her chest. The healing spell did not work, and Lydia looked at Aaron for a second, wondering why that had happened, when she saw Professor Karr tearing off part of her button-up and wrapping it around her thigh, assuring her then that it wasn't too tight. If the spell doesn't work.
The moment the spell was casted, Lydia's leg stopped bleeding, and the pain decreased quite a lot; of course, the wound was still there, but at least she wasn't bleeding out.If the spell does work.
Professor Karr was right though, they needed to let the adults take care of things; she slowly got up from the ground, making sure not to put too much weight on the stung leg and then looked at Aaron and May. "If we are going back to the castle, I'll walk there. I don't trust myself on a broom under normal conditions, let alone now," she told them and then, after giving an apologetic look at Professor Karr, she started walking, slowly and limping, towards the exit, hoping that either Aaron or May, or both, would follow her.
With everything that happened, she didn't notice Rafael trying to get a piggy-back ride from the mosp that stung her, but it was better that way: if she would have noticed that, she would have never agreed to leave.

interacting with @Crystal Jagger═ ∘◦❦◦∘ ═Lizzie had heard the comfort from the other girl and smiled a little. It was nice that she was trying to help the girl. She sniffled and wiped at her nose. Her commotion of crying had stopped but it didn't mean her mood her been heightened anymore then it already was. No. She was just as sad as when she was crying but crying would not save or help anyone. It was just a massive waste of time.
"I know we will get out of it." She said looking up to the ginger threw the hair that had fallen in front of her face. Lizzie moved her hand to push back the strands. She should have tied it but alas she had decided to go free from all high ties and hairspray, "I mean we aren't even teenagers. We can't die here." She laughed to herself in hopes of making her feel better.
She then felt a small tug and fell to the ground. The Mosp had tried to attack the girl that was in her company. Out of pure reaction, she must have grabbed Lizzie as well and pulled them both out of the way. It was in good reason. If she hadn't the Mosp might have hit Lizzie as well as the girl. Which wouldn't be a very good plan.
Lizzie quickly stood up and dusted her self off in a hurry. She was not going to just sit around crying while people were being stung and hurt. She looked around for anything she could use. The best thing would have been her wand but she foolishly had left it at the Castle. She didn't even have pockets were would she have the wand. Imagine going to a tailor and asking for pockets in a dress. No girl logically thinks while she is getting ready for something 'oh, I will need pockets in this dress. I better go see my tailor to change it.'
The girl went over to the closest table and picked up another chair. She looked back to the girl quickly and then ran towards the Mosp. She lifted the chair to hit it again but hesitated once again. It was just a Mosp what wrong could come from it. Before she swung, she looked against towards to the girl again.
Lizzie opened her mouth and shouted, "Do something. You have your wand right?" She took the chair over her head and closed her eyes, "Just do anything to help me." She brought the chair down at full force while screaming a battle cry. The cry would not help her in any way it was just a small way to make herself feel a bit better about hitting something.

The girl seemed to stop crying, and crystal relaxed slightly. She was talking positively, though the mention of the possibility of death made Crystal nervous. Though her mind was distracted by the buzz shifting in rhythm. Her head snapped in the direction of the mosp, who was flying straight at Crystal. She saw the pointed stinger heading towards her face, and her only thought was to get both of them to safety. She quickly tugged the Ravenclaw to the side with her, rolling away as she heard the stinger get lodged into the ground where they were. She looked at it with shock, the size of it was much scarier when it was heading right towards your face. When she saw Mildred get impaled, her brain distanced from the event in some sort of strange way of staying calm. But the risk of herself getting stung made her mind race with how terrible it would be. Her heart raced and her eyes were locked on the beast as it rose back into the air, still determined to harm the two students. She brushed dirt off of her arms, vaguely hearing the girl mention Crystal's wand, and to help her. She grabbed her wand, thinking through the spells she knew. She didn't know that many offensive things, but when she saw the girl pick up a chair a certain spell came to mind. She didn't know if it would work, but it was the only think she could think of that could be used offensively. She used the movement she remembered from class pointing the wand at the mosp, took a breath and said "Tarantallegra!"
