Gale hadn't been at Hogwarts for long, but he already knew the chances of friendship were small for him. By avoiding other people, he came across a few places that were usually empty. One such place was the ballroom.
Today, he decided to hang out in this large and spacious room. Not a soul in sight.
He felt safe here. Everyone else was busy or hanging out in the common room so he wasn't too worried about being bothered. His robe was large on him but he didn't mind. In this blank space, he could finally do what he loved most. No one would bother him.
Taking off his robe, he revealed a tank top and sweats. No need to dance in a dress, he thought to himself.
He began his exercise doing a simple routine, first, second, fourth, fifth, grand and arabesque. His arms were strong and well placed. Tondu, susu. He hardened his core and tightened his back. It wasn't flawless but it would do.
Sweat beaded on his brows as he moved to imaginary music. All thought had left his mind as he was absorbed in his motion.
This was a different kind of magic to him. But with how people are, he couldn't share it with anyone, nor would he admit it.
