Flying? No Way!

"Ah, yes!" Teresa clapped her hands together, smiling widely. "Fire wood candle reminds me of my father's office back at home! And vanilla bean of my mum's favorite perfume." Teresa signs at the memories of her family back at home, what are they doing when both of their kids are here at Hogwarts, Teresa wondered. "Ah, the candles aren't for everyone, some of them are really aromatic."

Teresa shakes her head. "Don't worry! I don't get offended easily and if yes, I come off more like confused." Teresa scratches the back of her head and laughs, who knows at her comment or just light up the mood.

Teresa let out a heavy breath, it was a satisfied breath and relieved breath. "Ah, I am glad our house isn't perceived as the annoying one! And don't worry! You're first Slytherin I am talking to." She smiled, assuring Cassie.

Teresa only shook her as in a sign of 'it's alright'. She then proceeded to look up at the sky as it was getting cleared when both of their classmates slowly left. She extended her right hand towards the sky, it was windy. The wind was dodging against her palm, the feeling felt wonderful. She had her eyes closed, then slowly inhaled and exhaled. When Teresa opened her eyes again she looked at Cassie and smiled, gripping on her broom.

"Yes, I am ready." Teresa spoke quietly and softly.

"I think it is a neutral fragrance if everyone doing it"Cassie said when Teresa told them that fire wood reminded her of her father office and vanilla beans her mom favorite perfume fragrance. Speaking of parents, Cassie suddenly missed their mom. Cassie shook their head to dismissed the thought.

They do not want to feel homesick or sad in the middle of the class. "I guess, candles are not for everyone"Cassie smile to Teresa. Deep down they like the vanilla beans scented candles. It reminded them of the innocence time when they were still a child. Where are the happy memories were in store in the back of their mind.

Cassie blinked and quickly trying to pressed down their tears. "Anyhow,"Cassie's voice suddenly become more happier and they clapped their hands. "It is a good thing that you do not get offended easily. It is a very good thing"Cassie stated. "Nah.. do not worry, mate. You are alright"Cassie added when Teresa worried that maybe others see Hufflepuff as the annoying house.

Cassie used to think that but ever since their interactions with Alexa Mackenzie, their perceptive towards the Badger house change. "I hope I am make a good impression then?"Cassie inquires the Huffle girl jokingly when Teresa said they are the first Slytherin she talked to. Teresa looked up to the sky, Cassie wait patiently.

Then the black and yellow clad extended her right hand towards the sky, the air was windy but not that cold. Cassie watched the other girl closed her eyes. She inhale and exhale. When Cassie heard a soft "Yes, I am ready" from the girl, Cassie smiled. "Alright, lass take it slowly"Cassie told Teresa.

"Just hover above the ground for a few inches and when you ready for more, then we will fly. Sounds good?"Cassie instructed the girl. "But if it is too much for you, please let me know"Cassie expressed. They did not want push the girl to do something that she was not ready yet.

Speaking of her family. How are they doing back at home? It must be so peaceful at home, it's only the two of them as herself, Teresa, and her older brother Jacob are both here at Hogwarts. Hm, she should consider writing a letter asking how are her parents doing without their presence.

Teresa shakes her head. "No, they're not. As I said some of them are really aromatic. Some of the ingredients can start an allergy. My mother makes candles in her free time. I got a handle in all that stuff." Teresa stated feeling a little bit nerdy talking about it all so sudden.

"Ah, I am glad then. Don't wanna make a bad name for our house." Teresa then smiled honestly. "You're nice. Don't get me wrong! I don't think Slytherins nor the Slytherin house is evil or mean!" Teresa then proceeded to laugh awkwardly, she doesn't want to turn Cassie to her enemy.

Teresa sat on her broom inhaling for the last time, she closed her eyes still listening to Cassie. Teresa nodded. "Okay, alright. Let's go." Teresa opened her eyes after breathing out an answer.

Teresa tightened the grip on her broom and jumped up, taking off of the ground floating just a few inches above the ground. This height wasn't scary, not yet. She looked at Cassie.

"I-I, I did it... I did it!" Teresa seemed happy for floating just a few inches above the ground... How silly to be happy about this achievement or... not?

Cassie listen attentively when Teresa said her mother made candle on her free time. "It is a good talent that you can make candles. I bet if there is an errand for that in this school, no doubt you will be good at it"Cassie said to the Hufflepuff girl. At this point Cassie will not thinking it is a strange one since in this school they have a lot type of errands to do.

Cassie let out a hearty laugh when Teresa mentioned that she did not want to make a bad name out of her own house. "Do not worry about it, you do not"Cassie assures their new friend. At this rate Cassie consider Teresa is their friend. "Thank you. Well it is depend on the person though. I once read 'evil it is not born, it is created' "The green eyes girl told the yellow and black clad girl.

With the talking Cassie can sense that Teresa prepping herself for what she about to do. Teresa sat on her broom inhaling for the last time, "Okay, alright. Let's go." She opened her eyes after breathing out an answer. Cassie smile at that. Usually Cassie is not the patient type of person but for their classmate to enjoy one of the school subject they love, they got all the time in the world for her.

Teresa tightened the grip on her broom and jumped up, taking off of the ground floating just a few inches above the ground. Then she looked at the young Serpent who float a bit higher than her. "I-I, I did it... I did it!"She seemed happy for floating just a few inches above the ground and for her achievement.

Cassie then give a bit turn at their broom and fly higher. 6 feet (2 meter) above the ground to be exact. Cassie look down at the ground. From where they situated it is not high for them but it will be another case for their broom riding companion. "Ready to fly higher? If you are, then come fly toward me"Cassie stated to the girl.

From different angle at the ground; shielding her eyes from the sun, Professor Bercegeay take notice at the progression the Hufflepuff girl made.

The young girl smiles and lightly blushes. "Aw, you think so? Thank you, ...uh, all this time and we haven't introduced ourselves, oho. I'm Teresa, Teresa Shadowmoon." The girl widens her smile as she introduces herself. Teresa had a habit of shaking hands with someone new, she did extend a hand for a handshake but quickly pulled her hand back to holding her broom.

Teresa let out little breathed "oh" as an answer and nodded a little. "I never read that, but I do believe that evil is created not born. As said before I haven't met many Slytherin...well I did in the hallways and in classes but I haven't talked to many of them and I don't believe that Slytherins are bad nor evil."

Teresa flew a few inches higher not much higher but higher than before... The Hufflepuff girl wasn't close to Cassie and isn't going to be closer to the Slytherin if she doesn't convince herself to be so. Teresa looked down, she wasn't that high so she wasn't scared yet. Then she heard Cassie's offer. "Ready to fly higher? If you are, then come fly toward me."

Teresa looked up again and nodded, smiling lightly. "Okay, I'm... I'm gonna." Was all she said and pointed the handle of her broom higher making her broom fly towards Cassie.
