I found it, not you.
Alejandro walked into the library cursing under his breath, it was his first day and his head of house already despised him. He was sure of it because he had made one snarky comment about the rules and the gotten mad at him in front of all the first years. He headed for the DADA section and ghosted his pointed finger against the spines of the books reading each one carefully trying to find the book he needed.
He saw a Hufflepuff girl who was jumping trying to reach a book. He stepped closer to investigate and realized she was reaching for the book that he was looking for. He walked over and stood behind her and snagged the book off the shelf and began walking away.
"Hey!!" The girl yelled "I was trying to get that book, I need it for a class...". In a smart aleccy tone he said "SHH... We are in a library" He said. She looked pretty angry so he said "Fine. Heres your book" He said dropping into her arms, "I have better things to do then worry about an angry dwarf". She looked taken aback at the word dwarf. He pulled another book off the shelf grazing his finger over the words so he didn't lose his place.
He listened to the girl say something about how having a growth disorder wasn't her fault and blah blah blah. He turned towards her cocked his head to one side and said "I never said it was and of all thing you could have just walked away but her you are..."

I found it, not you.
This boy had walked in and first taken the book she needed to fix her marks and then called her a dwarf. She was bout to lose it on him. She took a few deep breathes at his last comment. He was right, she realized with a start. She had stayed and YELLED at him, yelled. She should have just walked away and instead she stayed. After he dropped the book into her arms she thought at least he gave it to her and didn't just put it back on the shelf.
He was tall, around 5'11 maybe 6'0. She had to look up when she spoke to him. He was a Gryffindor, She didn't recognize him so he had to be a first year. Most of the upperclassmen would have walked away before she could start but he had stayed as if he was doing it on purpose. "I am sorry for yelling at you.. I should have just asked, I'm sorry" she said quietly.
He gave a small laugh and said "Relax, I was just trying to give you a hard time.". She thought to herself *you succeeded too*. She didn't like being teased and she didn't really car for any of the other houses except Ravenclaw because they were easier to get along with
