Rose was carefully walking in the forest trying to keep a step on a same pace. By now she didn’t know where her other teammates were as the atmosphere of the forest got more foggy. She was on alert and making sure her senses were all aware of her surroundings not to let another bad experience as the one she had known on her way there. It was really unfortunate and thankfully it had not have any major impact on her getting further. She was lucky enough nothing really serious happened and she didn’t want to waste this luck with a lack of attention. That’s where her sixth sense could be really useful and where she could make full use of it.

As she kept walking into the forest the fog was so intense it was really difficult to clearly see right in front of her. She was not sure who were ahead of her and who were behind. Thus she was rather alone making her even more aware of the surrounding environment. Sh didn’t know if it were her but the atmosphere felt suddenly different. It was hotter and humid perhaps. Although the fog was not helping anyhow. Her body started to sweat and all she could feel was warmth everywhere. It was almost making her head spinning. Nevertheless she kept walking not letting herself -or at least trying- being affected by the sudden heatwave she was finding herself. She wondered where it would end when she hoped for everyone else to be fine. But she noticed something near a tree and as she was getting closer someone’s figure appeared. It was Zephyr who didn’t seem to be in his best state.

“Zephyr are you okay?” She worriedly asked him as she reached him. Laasya was here as well and seemed to be fine and to have managed to go through the heatwave the same way Rose did.

The rainforest had the uncanny talent of scrambling every ounce of Cirrus' attention.

Between the taunting wildlife that seemed to have sticky fingers and the unfamiliar sounds echoing through the trees, it was easy to lose focus. It was a conscious effort to force herself to stay present, to keep her eyes straight, quietly taking in the landscape around her until, finally, something stood out to her like an odd blotch of colour on a canvas. Her eyes widened.

"I see their flag!" For perhaps the first time all day, her voice carried through the jungle instead of being whispered beneath something vast.

A smile, small but unmistakably genuine, found its way to her lips and settled there. It wasn't often Cirrus felt this particular gratification that came with being useful in situations that required quick thinking or strategy, she always hesitated and froze up. But this... this she could do. She'd helped the team in the way she did best.

Quiet observation had always come more naturally to her than blindly charging headfirst into the unknown, the rambunctious things were her brother's forte. And if she wanted any part in those sorts of adventures, she'd have simply torn up her Hogwarts acceptance letter and remained in Bristol.

The feeling of excitement lingered only briefly before approaching movement and the rustling of greenery caught her attention. Cirrus turned to see Veda emerging from the undergrowth, looking rather worse for wear.

"You alright?" Cirrus asked, concern replacing her excitement almost immediately. Her gaze scanned Veda's person before looking over her shoulder on the disturbed foliage behind her. "Did you encounter more cheeky monkeys?"

CICTF Iguana vs. Armadillo
Amethyst could feel herself burning up due to the heat. Sure enough, she wasn't a fan of this weather. It was vibrant -- the forest, the people and the games. She found herself enjoying despite the temperature.
The 13-year-old throughout the trip to Castelobruxo, kept to herself and was keen on continuing her solitude. The experience was necessary and enriching.
Friday, she stood spectating the proceedings of capture the flag. The game was fascinating; however, she was afraid of signing up for it, all alone. Amethyst was enjoying herself, observing the animals but to be on the field by herself with no one to support, did not make her feel confident enough to join.
Team Armadillo was lacking, all of them stuck in their base zone. The team names were interesting; she hoped to have a look at those animals before leaving. She was biased towards team Armadillo despite them taking no action.
Losers.
But perhaps the A in the name of the team was calling to her.
Amethyst was not so shocked when the moderator had decided to swap some of the team, turning to audience for help.
Her hand had shot up without second thought.
Really, she had no idea how to combat the climate or the animals but one could always try.

Posting as NPC michael
Michael Torres. Not Michael Jackson, neither Jordan.
People were however keen on forgetting his surname despite multiple reminders at Castelobruxo. It was hard to make friends when people were ignorant. He was nothing like the biggest singer-songwriter the world had ever known, or America's former star basketball player. He was a rather lazy lad.
But the weather at Castelobruxo was making up for it. Not all of his interactions sucked either.
Michael was very keen on joining Capture the flag, still was, but he had missed the sign-ups, much to his dismay.
But he decided watching the game proceed by the sidelines was not a bad idea.
Lucky for him, the moderator was replacing some of the people in team Armadillo and at once, he stepped forward.
Or maybe not so lucky, because the team had barely made any progress. Perhaps Michael could lend a hand, although he did doubt whether he would be of much use. But something is better than nothing. He glanced at the people already in zone 1, and others who like him had volunteered to be replacements.
"I am Michael Torres," he introduced himself to the team once he settled himself in zone 4. "Let's get it," he echoed behind a guy who wasn't the best at English but enthusiastic, nevertheless.

Julia felt like an idiot. Her job for the previous round had been important, but somehow her body just didn't want to comply. Mercifully, her bones came to their senses and moved just as an anaconda attacked zone 2. She, @cirrus mooney, and @veda lunar managed to escape it, but unfortunately, @Skylar Astor got unlucky. She was attacked, or rather engulfed by anacondas, and, by the looks of it, was likely immobilized for a round. Julia's eyes did a quick sweep of their zone, Zone 2, and was relieved to find that Skylar had been successful in laying her trap.

Julia looked back to see to see how @harumi everdane was getting on with her trap in Zone 1. The first thing that caught her eye was monkeys attacking, but Harumi had an easy dodge. She finished laying her trap, and that was when she heard a shout from cirrus next to her. She'd been actively trying to spot the flag in their zone and the Hufflepuff had finally succeeded. Adrenaline flooded Julia's veins. This seemed almost too easy. In the next round, Cirrus could grab the flag and they could win.

The rest of their group, @Zephyr Deakin, @Rose Pearce, and @Laasya Manjunath, made their way through the jungle and were then forced to face a (in Julia's opinion) rather harsh heatwave. While rose and laasya seemed unaffected, Zephyr was a little hurt. He wasn't immobilized, but would probably find doing... anything harder.

On the upside, the other team hadn't moved at all and seemed very zoned out. It seemed this would be easier than she had earlier anticipated
