Ok so I finally watched Descendants 4 and 5 and here are my takes: I still hated them. Both.
It doesn't mean I ended up enjoying some things. Now, let's just ignore the 4th, fine? Fine.
The 5th was incredibly better (I can't believe I'm saying this). It's wonderland just how I imagined it (some details are just... Meh) and it really gave me D3 flashbacks every three seconds which was both fun and sad. I repeat, I enjoyed them, it doesn't mean I didn't hate it. I did. I just hated it a bit less than the 4th.
Now, I'm going back to sleep, so I'll continue this in...*checks clock* 4 hours. Bye.
