The first meet PV Elisha pennyworth Closed

"That's great." Celeste spoke, then took a bite of her toast. "Have you had anyone else from your family be in slytherin? My father was a Gryffindor and my mother was a slytherin." Celeste explained. Her voice slightly darkening with sorrow before she recovered.

"I had always wanted to be in slytherin. And my father always knew that. But I believe he would still be a bit sad that I am not with gryffindor." Celeste spoke again after a minute. Her voice brightening again.

"Mmh, well my father is a Ravenclaw, though he did tell me that he could've gone either in Ravenclaw or Slytherin" She said as she thinks back to the time she had been curious about her parents time in Hogwarts. "He said he chose Ravenclaw to avoid the house rivalry with Gryffindor. He thought that the rivalry between the two house had been much more intense than other houses"

Feeling her hunger starting to act up, Elisha finally followed Celeste's action and brought a tart to her mouth to appease her grumbling stomach.

"For my mother, she was a Hufflepuff. Though I'd thought she would have been great in Slytherin too" Elisha took a bite and was surprised about it's taste. It's much more delicious than she had anticipated. Hopefully, she doesn't gain any more weight during her time in Hogwarts.

"I think I might be the first one in the family to be sorted in Slytherin in a while. I haven't had the slightest idea on what they'll think of it as I haven't owled them yet. But I know they wouldn't mind it." She shrugs, brushing the crumbs left on her lips as she finally took the last bite of the tart.

"Oh wow. So you are the first slytherin in your family then. That must be exciting?" Celeste said, smiling.

She picked up a goblet filled with water and took a few sips. "So do you have any siblings. I am an only child. So none for me." Celeste explained. "Its just me and my Papa in our family. so it gets very lonely in our castle."

"Not exactly." Elisha quickly backtracks, an awkward smile appearing on her face for what felt like the very first time that evening. "My uncle was in Slytherin, according to father. But he's... you know..." She hesitated for a brief moment, searching for a less blunt way to say it. " ...not around the living anymore. So I suppose I'm the only Pennyworth currently still alive that is sorted in Slytherin"

She looked off to side, a faint pink blush dusting her cheeks as she realized how strange that must have sounded. "Sorry, that probably came out more confusing than I meant to."
After a short pause, she let out a quiet sigh before continuing.

"As for any siblings. I do have one younger brother." At the mention of him, Elisha's expression softened ever so slightly. A smal glint that hadn't been there before flickered in her amber eyes. "He's rather energetic. Talks a lot too. Sometimes I wonder where he gets all that energy from" The corners of her lips lifted into a faint smile.

"We get lonely sometimes as well, since both Father and Mother are usually busy at work." She absentmindedly traced the rim of her cup with a finger "And although they try to come home on evenings, interactions are limited to dinner because of how tired they are. So I guess our situation are a bit similar."

"Oh it isn't confusing in the slightest and yes I guess our relationships are similar to some extent."

Celeste put a piece of roasted chicken in her mouth. "This is good."

After a few minutes. The feast ended causing the food along with the crockery, cutlery to disappear and the Slytherin house prefect told all the first years to get up and follow him to the common room.

"Come on. lets go." Celeste spoke to Elisha.

Date: September 1st, 2026}

As soon as Celeste had taste the roasted chicken in front of her, she had promptly brought her focus back to the food, ending her conversation with Elisha.

On her part, she just smiled as she watches her conversation partner be rude yet again. She didn't say anything though, because Celeste had already warned her of her own lack of manner. It was only a matter of time before she adapt to the new environment around her. Elisha once again looked around the great hall towards her professors, and house mates before picking her utensil and finally eating her now cold food.

Just as she had finished, the food along the other items at the table have vanished signaling the end of the feast. She could see a few student from each house standing up and giving instruction to their own housemates. She turns to look at the student on her own house introducing himself as the prefect and telling the others to follow him to the common room.

^{"Come on. Let's go."} Celeste said as she hurriedly fall in line with the other students around her. Elisha followed her, minding her steps so as not to step on anyone's foot or get stepped on herself.

'Well, isn't this an interesting start' She thought to herself.
