It had been a hot day, the school year was nearing its end and the sky was a clear blue, with the occasional white cloud drifting by. But this time, Neculai had found himself early in the morning entering an area that was quite unfamiliar to him, the Hospital Wing. As he was earlier practicing some moves on the Practice ground, it hadn’t gone as smoothly as he had hoped for. Nearing the end of his practice he had lost his focus, making a sharper then normal turn on the broom, it had caused his gloved fingers to slip its grip on the broomshaft and he had been plummeting from quite a height to the ground. Once he had reached the ground with a hard thud, it had taken him quite a while before he was able to get up.

As he indicated the nurse that he would need some attention, he made his way towards one of the sickbeds with a limp in his stride. The nurse didn’t had to ask what happened to him as Neculai was donned his traditional quidditch attire and she assumed what had transpired. She asked him where he felt pain. As the Seeker tried to indicate his leg with right arm he winced. The sudden movement had caused a sharp pain in his right side. He told the nurse that he had pain whilst walking, his head felt like a bell was rung inside of it and that his right arm hurted. The nurse gave him a healing potion and advised him to rest for an hour before resuming his routine.

So with nothing else to do his scarlet eyes darted across the room taking in every inch of it as he looked around who was in here and what their aches might’ve been.

You're an enigma to me, but that's okay. I'll figure you out, in time...

This was Layla’s first school year at Hogwarts. The year has passed by so quickly she didn’t even notice she was already at the end of the year. As the sun started to shine more and the flowers started to blossom, Layla could feel a sense of serenity over her. She finally felt at peace with herself because she feels like she belongs here.

Layla was a bright girl for her young age, yet she wasn’t cocky about it. During this semester Layla had realised you never stop learning even when you think you know it all. That is why she started reading more books to explore her knowledge whilst practicing her magic to become an even better witch.

During break Layla strolled around the hallway because she desperately wanted to go to the library. However, she had hurt her knee so badly walking to the library, it actually started to bleed. Layla wasn’t too happy about it.

“I’m so gawky all the time!” Layla admitted to herself.

“I sincerely hope no one saw this because... well... that would be awkward.” as she muttered under her breath.

When she arrived at the library or as she likes to call it, her safe haven, the librarian asked her what happened. Layla blushed and confessed she had tripped over a big stone because she was so gathered up in her own thoughts, she didn’t even see where she was walking. The librarian smirked as he explained to Layla where the hospital wing is located to have a nurse take a look at her bleeding knee.

Layla thanked the librarian and joked she’s going to walk her way to the hospital wing now with her eyes straight at the ground while overseeing every step she takes. The librarian winked and waved goodbye.

Once arrived at the hospital wing she noticed there were only a few people in the room. One boy was hurt pretty badly because he even had to lie in a hospital bed. Layla had spotted he was wearing his gear of Quidditch wich made her excited because she thought Quidditch was a really cool game. Layla had to contain herself because otherwise she would bombard the boy, who is clearly in pain, with loads of questions. Although Layla is somewhat shy, she doesn’t feel scared or nervous to socialize with her other peers. So with a scrap of confidence, she was getting ready to go up to the boy’s bed to ask what has happened to him.

Layla looked the boy straight in the eye and asks “what happened to you?” with a bedazzled look in her eyes.
