Angelo was still a little bit unsettled about what Dark wizards could've possibly sold in Knockturn alley. How forbidden could it get, considering they already dealed with things like bezoars and lionfish spines? The mention of Aurors also caught his attention too, but the conversation had already shifted before he could dwell on it. He felt relieved, though, as he was more than glad to stop talking about anything that was dark arts related, anyway. It was boring adult stuff, just like Eban had said.
"Dunno, really," Angelo said indecisively, pausing for a moment as he considered the question. It was shallow, but still, Angelo hadn't really put much thought into a favourite subject. Classes were manageable, maybe with exceptions to classes like Transfiguration or Potions, but he wasn't terrible at those, just okay at best. It wasn't like he was flunking any classes.
"If I were to pick, I think Herbology and Astronomy are pretty nice." The greenhouse was unpleasantly pungent at times, probably thanks to dragon dung, but it was a little more hands-on compared to some other classes. And Astronomy was definitely one of those brain-racking classes, but he found that the night sky was very convenient to look at when the professor was droning off and those peculiar astronomy instruments were nice too. "I can't really think of a third one, though," he admitted. Herbology and Astronomy were definitely the lesser of evils.
"Er, what are you planning to do for the weekend? I mean, other than homework and stuff." He asked, trying to continue the trend of small talk that had started. Angelo also hoped he could steal some weekend ideas from Eban too, since he found his free time was a little limited outside of school-related stuff.

He could tell Angelo was a bit relieved that they shifted the subject to something else, even so it isn’t that dangerous to go into knockturn alley. Maybe he painted that alleyway a bit darker than it should be, even so yeah there might be a lot of dark wizards around there, but yet people go there anyways. Well for those who are reasonable and know what they are doing can at least go there if they dare. But he didn’t think it was so many young ones like him who dared to go there to begin with. Anyways he was at loss in thought for a bit where he sat til the conversation started again.
He intensely listened to what Angelo said, he nodded in understanding of what he said. And asked “Those are pretty nice favorites, it isn’t simple to choose three favourites off subject. I mean, it is easier tho choose something you dislike than favourites.” He said calmly.
And he listened to what he said about the weekend. “Well, except for homework and stuff. I don't know yet, well. I might join some activities that are planned on the billboard in the common room area. Maybe it is something interesting there, but I really want to make some potions and practice.” But he was really thinking of sneaking into a forbidden forest or sneaking down to Hogsmeade. Maybe even sneak to the potion classroom and make some potions. But who knows what will happen, he might even paint something instead. “But of course, I haven't decided what I want to do yet. What have you planned to do this weekend? or did you just ask me to get inspiration to do stuff yourself? I mean I take things that come to me sometimes, I don't have anything specific right now.” He said to Angelo. Maybe he can get some ideas from him instead while he's at it. He don’t come up with good ideas right now, he might be a bit boring at times. He loves more to be in the library and chill, but sometimes he just want to feel like a kid, he might be go down to the lake and take a bath. But that’s going to his head right now.
Should I? Purhapse. Will I? Nooo, Do I enjoy being difficult? Mooost deffently!

"Yeah, no, I was just planning to ask you, since I don't have any ideas either," he said, drumming his fingers against the table as he wondered what to do with his free time. He'd attempted to explore the castle a bit in the past, but he hated the idea of getting lost. What if he ended up somewhere he wasn't meant to be? Getting to classes was already enough of a challenge. Eban mentioned the billboard too; honestly, he couldn't remember half the things that were listed on it. He also kept quiet about Eban's comment about Potions practice, he want to get into that again.
Maybe he should ask some kids who'd grown up with magic, someone familiar with life at Hogwarts. His fingers stilled eventually as he thought about it. He'd seen the occasional witch or wizard outside during free time, but most of them were either on their brooms, playing some odd marble game, or studying. None of these appealed to him. First-years weren't allowed to have their own broomsticks anyway, plus he couldn't even fly well with supervision. The marble game just didn't look interesting, and he wasn't going to spend another weekend pretending to study with a textbook sitting in front of him. Maybe those activities just weren't for him.
Right--outside. It was winter, it had to be snowing outside. Although the draftiness in the Great Hall was deterring him from going outside, he could at least have some snow to touch alongside his already runny nose. "I might go outside, but I'll have to go back to our common room to get my winter cloak."

He was giving a short smile, his ideas haven't been so bright lately, “Well, we could do something outside at least. I don’t know what you usually like to do when you are bored?” He said and asked calmly and collected.
He surely can say his life hasn’t been normal like other kids here, for some kids would say his life has been boring and adult like childhood. His life has usually gone well in reading or making potions or food with his mother, not so much fun activities like other kids usually do. But sometimes he has been trying to fly some brooms or playing alone like throwing snowballs at a tree in winter time. He didn’t have any siblings in his life, so it was a bit difficult to play around so much, unless his cousin came around for a visit, but that wasn’t so often .
“But I don’t know what you do for fun yourself though. When you get bored and want to do something, what is the first thing you want to do?” He asked calmly towards Angelo. Curious about what he is going to say. He doesn’t know what Angelo does when he gets bored and what to do during winter time. “But what are you doing at home when you get bored ?” He asked calmly toward him, curious what he would say, and tilted his head a bit and fidget with his hair around his finger. He became a bit restless where he sat and wanted to do something now, but don’t know what yet. He looked a bit around and then back at Angelo.
