Lucille had simply been taking a quiet stroll around the school's grounds when she noticed a fellow student taking time out of the day to be outside.Thinking back to the reason why she was here in the first place,Lucille had told herself it was to simply relax,but of course,deep down she knew it was for her mind to refresh it's self.For her brain to have a new beginning as she got ready fr another full day of classes tomorrow."How productive."She thought to herself as she noticed the student was painting.Feeling quite playful that day, Lucille tried to find the small amount of Gryfindor courage she had to talk to the girl painting.

Finally, the young Ravenclaw walked up to the student to actually say something."Oh uhm..hello! The name is Lucille..Lucille Williams,and I was just wondering what you were painting."Lucille said trying her best to be more confident.As she looked around the grounds she saw the great blue sky with a sun that appeared to be covered by a large cloud."Hmm..at least it's not hot today.."She thought to herself with a small smile.

As Lucille began to instinctively push her hair behind her ear she looked back at the student to further introduce herself.Hey..by the way.. I'm from the Ravenclaw house but really I'm not that smart or wise. Uhm...I think you look quite creative though..so what house are you in? I don't think I've seen you in the common or anything."she said to the girl quietly.

She wasn't really expecting anyone else to be there by now. There had been once a time that she came to watch the training for quidditch practice because the boys could be quite fun to watch but now she came for the solitude but Alina was a social girl and didn't mind the company.

Her eyes moved to the girl to her painting. She had wondered what she was painting and she tilted her head as she looked over the canvas. "I don't really know what I'm trying to paint yet," she said honestly and then gave a bit of a laugh.

When she introduced herself as a Ravenclaw, there were some thoughts that went through Alina's head. The only experience she really had with Ravenclaws so far were horrible tutors that though they knew EVERYTHING but couldn't even tutor her in Transfigurations, and the ones that shushed her all the time in the study rooms and library. This girl seemed to be different, or at least lacked confidence in her intelligence. She had to have been put in Ravenclaw for a reason.

Still, it was very refreshing to see a Ravenclaw who was not full of themselves and boasting about their grades. "I'm Alina Rosier," she said. "Hufflepuff..." there was a slight trail there at the end but nothing like at the beginning of the year when she wouldn't even want to admit that at all.

"I'm quite alright at sketching things and I like to crochet but I've always wanted to paint so I figured I'd start. I'm not sure its a feat I can do all by myself though...might either need to take some classes or at least get some instruction books on it." But she downplayed herself. Even for a true beginner she wasn't too bad at all. She had her own sort of style that made it interesting for others to look at.

Lucille looked back from the Quidditch practice to the girl who was painting.According to her, the painting was just as a mystery to her as it was to Lucille."I'm sure it will end up well."Lucille said tilting her head at the canvas.Thankfully, this mystery painter girl had introduced herself. Alina, her name was, and a even Hufflepuff no less. Alina had began to say she was quite fond of sketching and crochet, now she had even decided to paint.Despite being a bit ashamed of the fact Lucille herself lacked many creative talents, the young Ravenclaw was no doubt,quite impressed with the girls set of talents."I think I'm more of a writer then a painter."Lucille said with a small smile."Sometimes I like to sew a bit though."She continued."I suppose it's nice to meet you too.I don't think I've met many Hufflepuffs this term but I do think Professor Brown is quite nice."The young Ravenclaw said kindly."I just thought it would be nice to have a breath of fresh air.Especially since what happened at the Blossom Ball,it seems we all need a little brake."She continued with an awkward smile as she replied to Alina's question."What brings you here anyway?Lucille asked the fellow first year."Is it just to paint or rather something else?Lucille asked curiously.

"I meet my twin sister here sometimes to just spend some time together. She likes to come here for the boys," Alina said and rolled her eyes a bit. Her sister Bella was BOY CRAZY. "I like it because you get the perfect amount of breeze without being overwhelming," and she glanced up, feeling it hit her face gently.

"You were at the Blossom Ball? I heard what happened..." it must have been so frightening, especially not really knowing what was going on, being dark and all and then got even DARKER. "I was going to go but we decided instead of going to the Secret Blossom Ball, that we'd have a Secret Secret Blossom Ball in our Common Room instead," and by we she meant her and her date, Clifton Troublefield.

She looked back to her painting and decided she'd set it down on the stands beside her, not wanting her to think that the girl was disturbing her process because 1) she was not and 2) Alina wasn't entirely sure she had a process there. She presented the girl with a smile before looking back out at the Quidditch practice before them. There was a lot of standing around, a lot of talking - it was probably a boring practice for the quidditch players. Strategy and theory, most likely.

"What sort of things do you write? Like, a journal or more stories or poems or that?" Any of them seemed like a good hobby worthy of a Ravenclaw.

Lucille gave a small laugh when Alina began to describe her her twin sister.In her old muggle school there were definitely some girls who fit the term "Boy Crazy" though Lucille was not one of those girls."I've always wondered what it would be like to have a sister,"Lucille admitted."Though I do got a little tornado called Davie back at home."She added with a smile.When it came to speaking about her family, Lucille couldn't help but smile.Especially when it came to talking about her brother."He's gonna love this place.."She muttered to herself."I mostly come here to just..walk around I suppose..it feels calming to me.I don't know why actually."She replied to Alina."Yep..I went to the ball.Too bad my dress didn't come back in one piece."Lucille said with a weary smile."Your secret secret ball sounds like a lot of fun though.How many people were there?"She continued curiously.
There was small pause between the two girls as Alina set her painting down.
Lucille saw her look at the Quidditch pitch but it didn't seem that exiting.
"What do you think the players are talking about?"She asked.Even though Lucille hardly had an interest in sports, Quidditch and track seemed to be an exception. Something about gliding in the air, or running with the wind in your face interested the young girl."I usually write poems, though I don't even know if they're any good."Lucille said as she turned he face back to Alina.

Davie was a cute name and it made Alina smile that Lucille referred to her little brother as a tornado.

"Our Secret Secret Blossom Ball was just Clifton Troublefield and I," he was a fellow first-year Hufflepuff. "He asked me last minute so I didn't have time to really get all dressed up and we both thought we'd be more comfortable in the Common Room. We got some drinks, candies, had some music, and I put around some origami badgers I made earlier in the year to decorate. There was lots of dancing," ...and their first kiss but she didn't think anyone wanted to hear about that!

Alina tilted her head as she examined the Quidditch players once more. "Maybe they're going to overthrow the Captain. Maybe they're talking about famous Quidditch games in years past," and getting tips and pointers from it or something - discussing strategy. "I really don't know much about the sport. My first time on a broom was flying lessons. My dad played Quidditch though...I was in the Trophy Room once and saw that he had one from the Slytherin House for Sportsmanship," which was still totally odd because her father never really struck her as someone who would exhibit fair and generous behavior or treatment of others.

"Do you like it? Being on a broom and all?"

Lucille gave Alina a small smile when she mentioned her secret ball with a certain Clifton Troublefield."If someone in Ravenclaw had decided to something like that, I wouldn't have even thought about going to the real ball."Lucille replied with a small laugh as well.As she saw Alina begin to think about what the Qudditch players may be talking about she couldn't help but think more about what would happen if she was actually a Quidditch player."I don't think that the team is arguing so maybe they're talking about their play-book."Lucille suggested."I really like the idea of Quidditch, but yeh..my first time on a broom were the flying lessons."The Ravenclaw said admittedly.Lucille wondered what it was like to simply be born into magic.Maybe Nana knew what that was like..Lucille looked back up at Alina to try to ignore the thoughts about her grandmother."I suppose your a wizard-born or somethin? I suppose that's quite interesting in it's self."She continued."I do really like being on a broom, it's just that I'm not any good at flying."Lucille replied to Alina's question.As Lucille looked back onto the field she had the birth an idea,an idea, that if planned properly may actually work out good.The Ravenclaw couldn't help but grin.As soon as she had the time she would run to the Trophy Room in search of a trophy with her Grandmother's name on it.

"Yeah, wizard born here but never had any experience on a broom before this. My family mostly utilizes apparation for those that can and the Floo Network to get around. I think my father values his looks too much to risk having his hair messed up from a broomstick ride," she laughed a little.

"Truthfully I don't know what it is. I'm afraid to be on a broom," she declared for the first time out loud. "Which is odd because I like to climb trees as high as I can so it's not a height issue...I think it's because I'm in control of the broom and I don't like to be in control." She was just another mistake waiting to happen - at least that's how Alina felt about herself.

"I'll be rather glad when I don't have to take Flying anymore." She looked over to Lucille and thought about how she had said she found quidditch to be interesting. "Maybe someday you'll want to try out for your House team? I would think it would have quite a few benefits due to the commradery alone. I mean, to have several people that have your back at all times is astounding. And I doubt it's just at the Pitch. If they don't get acceptable grades they're in jeopardy of being off the team so you've got people that will support you in every aspect of your Hogwarts life. It's like a promise to succeed."

Lucille loved to think about the idea of actually being brought up with magic. Maybe then cleaning up after Davie wouldn't have been so hard. Though alas, these thoughts would always be 'what ifs' in Lucille's mind, so maybe it was simply better to focus on what has actually happened in her life."What's it like using that floo powder stuff anyway?"The eagle asked Alina curiously. Lucille couldn't recall hearing many describe the traveling experience, which was why she usually assumed it was a way of travel meant for the 'first class' people of the wizarding world. "I think climbing trees is pretty fun!" Lucille replied excitedly. Hearing someone have actual things in common with her was quite rare given the fact most of the other kids in town stayed as far away from her as possible."I suppose your probably right. about that,"The witch began."Y'know, having a whole team to support you, plus all of the homework help you'd ever need."She added with a smile."Though I guess it just depends how you look at the situation."Lucille said."Maybe you could try out for other things? Like the gobble-stones club, or the um-, that wizard chess club."She continued, trying to be supportive. "I bet you'd know all about those games."Lucille finished with a small laugh."The only sport I played in muggle-school was dodge ball, and even then I felt like a big red target."
