An Unfortunate Misunderstanding

Janet dashed through the dimly lit hallways of the castle holding the pile of heavy books in front of her trying not to trip over. Lucky she had gotten used to the many diverse shortcuts and secret passageways of hogwarts so quickly. She came to a sudden halt beside an old not-so-majestic rusty suit of armour for a quick break, gasping for air and brushing her obnoxiously thick hair out of her hot and sweaty face. Ugh she couldn't be on time for once could she, well she wasn't exactly the most organised person and it was hardly anyones fault but her own that she had stayed up so late in the common room playing exploding snap.
Janet started to run again, picking her way carefully through the hallways, she pushed a tapestry out of the way revealing a doorway and stepped through. She rounded the corner a little too quickly though before she knew it she had smashed unexpectedly into a unsuspecting student, knocking the two of them over and sending herself sprawling foolishly into a suit of armour. Before coming into direct contact with the cold stone floor she saw out of the corner of her eye a patch of green that could only mean they were a slytherin...

An Unfortunate Misunderstanding
Could I just get to charms without having to fight a Gryffindor, he thought as he rolled his eyes from the stone floor. It was freezing down there, it was almost summer, how could it be freezing! This castle was full of mysteries, big and small. Sick of it, he stood up as fast as he could. He didn’t even try to help the girl who’d fallen. Why should he help someone who hurt him? Even if she hadn’t tried anything, why would he help a Gryffindor?
“I suppose your plan backfired? Or were you supposed fall into the suit of armour?” Wyatt looked down at the girl from where he stood. His tone was just dripping with mockery. He was not just going to help her up and leave, he had to rub it in that she failed. He didn’t remember seeing her before, and he didn’t remember her beating him up before. “You’re a new one. Well, at least you’ll stop while you’re ahead now that you’ve found prince charming,” he gestured to the knight she’d fallen onto.
Maybe he was slowly becoming the bad guy by poking fun at the Lion, but he didn’t notice or care. After everything Gryffindors had put him through, it was payback time.

Janet rubbed her arm which was now sporting a brand new bruise and pushed herself off the hard stone floor only to come face to face with a very angry slytherin.
“I suppose your plan backfired? Or were you supposed fall into the suit of armour?” He said mockingly.
She stepped back a bit and hot rage bubbled in the pit of her stomach, she hadn't pushed him on purpose she just went round the corner too fast.
"Well I was going to say sorry before you jumped to conclusions." She spat at him angrily. "Why would I even bother bullying you anyway I have better things to do."
Janet probably wouldn't have been so cruel If she had known her fellow Gryffindors had beat him up before, causing him to have a bad opinion of the house, but one of her major faults was that she let her anger control her before finding out all the facts.
“You’re a new one. Well, at least you’ll stop while you’re ahead now that you’ve found prince charming,” He said gesturing towards the knight.
A new one, if only she had stopped to consider these words, but her hot temper caused her to lash out angrily again.
"Oh shut up idiot I'm gonna be late," it was unlike Janet to want to walk away (not unlike her to do so rudely however) from a situation but undoubtedly she had learnt to control herself better since going to hogwarts.
