May needed to study some History of Magic before the Professor asked her to respond that specific question that...she didn't know or understand. As you may know, May was a shy girl, and couldn't just go to a Professor and ask him something. So he refuge was the library.
Books and books and more books made her feel safe. Unlike the feeling of going to a Professors office. Anyhow, she only succeeded in Potions, and of course, Charms. But she was the best at Charms, clearly. As she looked into the mirror, strands of her completely white hair turned fluorescent yellow as she tried to reply to the Gargoyle essay she was studying.

So, she felt something odd was going to happen at the moment. Ok, she was right. She had ripped accidentally a page of the school book she had in front of her. "Oh no!" she said, panicking. At first, she would have hidden the book. But...she remembered she was a witch. "Reparo" she said, casting the mending charm with her wand. The page of the school book had mended itself successfully. "Why do I always forget I'm a witch?" she murmured. But then, her books fell to the ground. A glare was given by the librarian to her, afterwards.

Rosalina never thought she'd find herself in the library because one) she didn't read and two) she didn't study. Of course, sometimes she was forced to do both the former and latter. This was one of those times. She practically dragged herself into the library, carrying an armful of her textbooks. She was having an exceedingly difficult time with Potions. There was just something so particular about it and delicate and the whole requirement of being patient. None of these were Rosalina's strong suits. She was so unfamiliar with the concept of going to the library that for a moment, she just stood there looking around for some sign advising her what she was supposed to do. There wasn't such a sign and it took her an embarrassingly long moment to realize this. She shook her head as if to reset her fail of an entrance when she heard a ripping sound. She whirled around and spotted a girl in front of one of the shelves. Even though Rosalina couldn't see the girl's face, she could sense her panic. It was practically radiating off the girl. She knew what had happened. But that being so, she couldn't help but think the panic was unnecessary. Surely, reparo could fix the problem? Sure enough, she saw the girl cast said spell. When the girl dropped her books, Rosalina's amusement from the situation all but vanished. She rushed to the girl's aid. Without even thinking, she was on her knees helping to gather the fallen books. She had shifted her own books into her other arm that wasn't moving.

@Rosalina Flame
As May began to kneel down to retrieve the books, she looked up and was surprised to see a girl (she seemed Gryffindor) helping her. With a blush, she looked down at her Charm books (there were about nine, to be exact) and her only Astronomy book. With a shy smile, she offered the girl her hand to shake- "Hey! I'm M-" she didn't have a last chance to pick up her book, when all her books fell from her gasp...
"Ah!" how clumsy she was! But only if she could ever be a normal eleven year old Hufflepuff! Of course, she she was normal and had lots and lots of friends, but being clumsy was an issue.
She gave a nervous smile at the Gryffindor and completely forgot to say her name and finish her sentence. She had been given a Shush from the librarian and a small blush escaped her pale face, as she finally put her books into her big bag.

"I'm so clumsy. I'm sorry, but I could not finish my sentence. I'm May~May Moonstar. You must be a first year. I'm a first year too."

She gave the lioness a warm smile before falling into a chair and gave a big sight. "You don't happen to be good at astronomy, do you?" she asked hopefully.
