Ainsley Thatcher was born to Archie and Lucy Thatcher on July 15th. Three weeks after her birth, Archie and Lucy Thatcher were killed in an accident, leaving newborn Ainsley and Ainsley's 12-year-old sister, Wren, alone in the world. It would be another five years until Wren and Ainsley found their way out of the orphanage, and into the loving arms of Wren's new husband, Marshal. Ainsley first began showing signs of magic when she was eight, and, despite falling from a height that should have harmed her in some way, was completely healthy. When it came to friendships, Ainsley didn't have very many. Children avoided her due to strange things that always happened, such as the wind blowing really hard or stuff around her breaking when she got angry and flowers blooming on whatever she touched when she was really happy. It wasn't until her eleventh birthday, when Marshal proudly presented Ainsley's acceptance letter and explained exactly what it meant to Ainsley and Wren, that she finally understood why strange things continued happening around her.
