"Hmm, I have these gloves," She responded as she picked up a pair of fingerless gloves that were clearly made for someone with small hands but long fingers. It was evident that they were a pair of gloves that she had made for herself but she had not been wise enough to bring spare gloves for people. She offered them to the girl, intrigued by the sewing that was happening, "Hmm... I'd say the answer is both. Making new stuff is kind of essential in this world. If you only made the exact same items, you'd run out of customers or people would be able to get that product from everywhere. So you definitely need to try and make something new. Perhaps jewellery that is uniquely designed or charmed to do something special that isn't super common, I guess or perhaps like an item that doesn't exist like... boots that make you fly better than a broom," She pondered, making a mental note to work on the boots as that would be pretty cool, "But when you're starting out, it can get really expensive really quick so I think you need to spend time making the same thing over and over. My boss actually told me that I had to make a thousand swords before I was allowed to make one for a customer, and he'd throw the ones I finished into the fire to melt it down again," She added with a bit of a chuckle as she thought back to how Hokkar trained her.
