Millie almost jumped at three stairs at the time. Gladly she didn't stumbled or anything that make herself announced in this hour. She almost hit the bed couple minutes earlier, until she suddenly remember the stacked of books she borrow days before in potion class still sitting on her desk with many of her own books. She clutched her satchel tightly in front of her chest, running for her life to the return the books to its original place.

Once again, Millie forgot that now is almost midnight. The only voice she can heard is her own running pace and breath. She just realizing that deafening silence when her foot reached the bottom floor of the castle, which lead her to the dungeon, where the potion class is there as well. As Hogwarts' inhabitant can already guess, it is dark in here that Millie must pulled out her wand and casted Lumos to lighten her way. She now slow down her pace, clearly not want to anyone know she was here.

She finally reached her destination, but she just stood there. Looking at how the door before her slightly open. Who? Is that Professor? Is it the end already?

For a long moment, Millie just stood outside, thinking hard: should she risked to be caught or just do her business quickly. But, well, she already here anyway. Better to do it quickly rather than wasted her breath to descend stairs to nothing.

She silently whispers Nox to turning off Lumos out of her wand. She then step in without noise, one foot on the class' floor, waiting for any reaction from inside. Nothing. It's the same deafening silence welcoming her. With that, she get in deeper, but once again stopped when she saw an unfamiliar shadow on the other corner. She squinted her eyes, walking toward it, and crouched down.

"What you doing here?" she whispers so cautiously.

_{The footsteps started to get louder by the second. Even though this was a scary position to be in at this time of the day Adrenaline started rushing inside Olivia making this whole situation exciting for her. Every thing in her wants these footsteps to be of a student rather than a professor. The foot setps got closer and closer and suddenly
What you doing here?
Olivia flinged to the whispering voice almost tripping to the floor. Olivia looked towards the sound. To her surprise it is a girl. She is holding some books and looks just as scared as olivia. Its way too dark to see her face properly so olivia grabbed her wand very slowly and casted Lumous.
Hey, Who are you?
Olivia should probably answer her question first but in that moment it was risky for the both of them to explain the reasons as to why they were in the Dungeons at the middle of the night without knowing who they are talking to.
With the help of the light Olivia had managed to recognize the person infront of her. It was hard to assign the person a name but she knew that the girl infront of her is a second grader who Olivia had seen in a couple of classes before. Finally Olivia is relieved.

"Hey, Who are you?"

If the situation their entangled now wasn't in the dungeon at the middle of the night, that was probably the reasonable question to be asked, especially to the one you never really spoken to. But, seriously, they have no time to chit-chat in this place or Professor would really caught on them both.

Millie squinted her eyes when the girl before her casted Lumos on her wand so they can see each other's face in that little light. While Millie slowly recognized that girl on one of the classes they attended to, she spoke again, "Did I scare you?"

Honestly? "No," Millie said, still lowering her voice as low as she can. She was just didn't expected she wasn't the only one who slipped past curfew this night. And luckily for Millie, the girl also alone so she wouldn't afraid to be ganged up that would be risked herself alone. So she just back at her business, quickly put the books back at the shelf, and signaled the girl with her Lumos' wand to get out of the room together.

Millie walked straight away from the classroom, only stop when she reached one of the nooks of the dungeon, hoping that no one else will suddenly show up out of thin air.

"As you saw, I just returning the books I borrowed, okay?" Millie said to the girl as she turned around but her eyes still linger to the several directions just in case. "So, what you doing there?" Millie once again asked the question the girl haven't answering yet. But she also realized she hadn't answer her question too. "And it's Millicent. But you can just call me Millie."

𝕯enisse had not intended to be parading around the castle at the closing hour, but then again her curiosity tended to pull her to places she ought not to go. After all, it's not the first time she wandered the castle late at night. It was cold down in the dungeons, colder than it usually is in Potions class. The stones were damp to the touch and the room was silent except for the small hiss of her Lumos charm where she could see the slight unevenness of the floor beneath her.

She had come to a halt. Voices had been spoken, but not professors' voices. They were too quiet for that they whispered and were too cautious. Leaning into the shadow of the passage she drew closer and her heart went thump thump against her ribs. Two forms were standing in the Potions classroom. Their light weak enough for the features of the faces in silhouette to be recognizable; Olivia, holding a burning torch, Millie replacing a stack of books upon the shelves.

Denisse hesitated and then drew herself forth out of the darkness. "You two shouldn't be down here ..." she said in a voice low, and sure. Her lip curled almost in a smile but there was no mirth in it, it was the grim humor of those caught doing something mischievous.

She eyed the open book resting on the table. Her eye fell upon the many strange, disordered words that were scattered across the open page. "That doesn't look like a normal Potions textbook," she remarked; her tone tinged with curiosity. "Was this left on the desk?"

Olivia’s eyes flickered nervously toward the passage entrance but there was an exhilaration about her position and posture; Millie on the other hand simply seemed to have gone slightly pale. Denisse drew her wandlight down lower; to lessen the dim shadows cast about. "If they find us, all the three of us shall have to endure detention." she stated after a pause staring fixedly into the peculiar text on the table. "But it might just be worth it."

The silence of the dungeon was now palpable, save for the faint dripping sound which emanated from some distance in the depth of the dungeons. There was a weight about the atmosphere. Three, second-years, alone at the dead of night huddled around a book which seemed to throb with unknown lore. Denisse took a breath and whispered; "So... Shall we read it all together, or do we replace it and leave the chamber before anyone realizes."

_{Olivia kept Ignoring this question because she knew that out of all the reasons to be in the Dungeons at this time of the day her reasoning would be the worst. But she knew that she must answer to the girl. Just as Olivia was about to speak the girl spoke again.

Olivia smiled hearing this. The girl is facing the shelf tryingto put the books she had borrowed back in place.
Hi Millie, I am Olivia. Nice to meet you. Anyways before I answer why I am here at this time of the day let me give you a heads up. My reason is not as good as yours. I just had this huge urge to explore hogwards looks like at night.and i guess this is where I start.
The girl smiled and olivia smiled with her. All of the sudden they heard foot steps again. This time both of them panicked but didnt have time to hide until they heard a voice.

Its denise, Olivia recognised her immediately from class. Just as Olivia was about the answer Denise started looking around the class room. Her eyes stoped moving when she saw the table I was in. The potion book with random words in it that Olivia almost forgot about.
That doesn't look like a normal Potions textbook. Was this left on the desk?
Denise started looking through the pages of the book with curiousity.
It sure isnt. Its just random words. I took it out if the shelves because it looked very intresting. But It confused me more and more as I read it.
So... Shall we read it all together, or do we replace it and leave the chamber before anyone realizes.
These words from Denise gave Olivia the thrill she wanted to get from this exploration all along
I vote for staying. Leaving isnt an option for me. I have to figure out what this book it about}

Personally, Millie wouldn't want to argue that kind of reason since she herself like to explore to gain something she didn't know about. But all of this time, why now? Although, that would hardly come back to her too—why returning those books now rather than tomorrow. So, she could only scoffed and grin with amusement.

Millie snapped her neck, almost immediately when the other sound came, and then frowned. Denisse? Did she miss a step on the stairs and think this was where her common room is?

Despite that, she kept coming in until her attention hooked on the table near Olivia. "That doesn't look like a normal Potions textbook," she said, full of curiosity. "If they find us, all the three of us shall have to endure detention. But it might just be worth it," she added, obviously referring to the book which now got full of her attention.

This is far from what Millie had expected and anticipated. She's screwed. Detention? She never even late to one of her classes! And now, only because she didn't want to be more trouble to get her feet here at its busiest time tomorrow, she got tangled to the near detention door instead. What a perfect night!

"So ... shall we read it all together, or do we replace it and leave the chamber before anyone realizes."

Huh? Strangely, that idea tingled Millie's curiosity deep in her core. Well, sure, she liked to know the content of that mysterious book too. Who knows if it contains any interesting things she could add to her own intel.

With that in mind, also with Olivia's eagerness, Millie step in closer to the table. Shrugging her shoulder, she just signaling to whoever around her who determined enough to open that mysterious book.

_{Three of them gathered around the book hoping to find something intresting in it. Last time she opened the book she saw random words writted in each page. All very random.
This is too boring for a book that looks this intresting she thought.
The book was made out of thick leather looking material that is made out of some kind of animal skin. The cover had some sort of a emblem in it that Olivia couldnt recognise. The front of the book had a huge lighting bolt going across it.
Olivia sat down on the table and next to millie and Denisse and opened the intresting looking book yet again.
Olivia's eyes widened. Her heart started pounding very fast as she Realised that the book no longer had random words written in it. The first two pages are filled with sentences that seems like dialogues from one of of a conversation.
"Yes, the door opens at midnight"
"No, the guards are inside"
"Yes, He doesnt suspect anything"
"Yes you are the only one who knows"
Olivia froze, her face went pale as she turned the pages. Denisse and Millie looked surprised as if they cant see anything other than the random words that Olivia had seen earlier.
Are you seeing this?
Olivia asked in a shocked voice. Looking at their faces they are definitely not seeing what she is seeing. Thats when it suddenly made sense. This is the second time Olivia is opening this book. Maybe thats why only she can see the sentences. Olivia didnt think twice before she closed the book.

Olivia panicked and opened the book again.
Thank god she said confirming that the sentences and still indeed in the book. She looked up to realise that now Denisse and Millie is also shocked}

What? A random scribble? Or maybe that was a code? Millie frowned, almost think that this was wasting of time. She shouldn't do this in the first time. Thinking it was contains some interesting, maybe also secretive topics. Nonsense. She disappointed by her own choice. Never in her life her curiosity be a part of her disappointing.

" ... What if the sentences disappear for me as well?"

Huh. Now what? The sentences disappear? What was Olivia meant by that? Reflexively, Millie glance aside to Denisse who looks like in the same boat as Millie with that daze and confused look on her face. She glanced back at Olivia, wondering if maybe the problem was on her.

With a hurried panic, Olivia opened the book she was just closed quite harsh moment before. Inwardly questioning why she do that like a manic, Millie glanced at the book once again. Now with a complete bewilderment. Her jaw almost collapse to the floor.

"What a what?" Millie murmured and step closer, slowly tracing her finger carefully to touched the book's page. Now formed a quite clear and readable words on its yellowish worn out parchment. "Is that sorcery? Uh ... chanted book or something?" She looking back and forth to her companions which now equally shows full of surprises expression, including Denisse, like she really just saw the formed words on it, the same situation Millie's encountered.

Millie grinned ear to ear. She took back her previous claimed about how nonsense it is she just remarked. Rather, it is too much interesting than she actually expected!

They just found a treasure!

_{Olivia switched glances between the book and the girls. They look shocked. Millie's jaw dropped to the floor.

Olivia grabbed the book tightly in her hands and read the first sentence out loud hoping to find any sense in it.

What does that even mean. What question is the book answering?
Olivia looked back at Millie when her eyes widened even more looking at the book.
The sentence that was just read my Olivia Disappeared right infront of their eyes. It seemed like the ink was all absorbed into the paper.
Bloody hell this is cool yelled Olivia. For a second she forgot she is doing something secretive and that she is supposed to be quite.
I think I know whats happening here. I think this book answers our questions. But once you read it out loud the answer disappeas. Shall we try it out. But if my theory is wrong and this book has a owner. They will figure out that we used this book.
Even though it was starting to makes sense to Olivia that in hogwards things like this is not as surprising as it would be in the muggle world Olivia wanted to try the book. Olivia ran towards the quills in the class room grabbed one and came running back to the table and waited for the girl's approval to start writing in the book.}
