𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒚

Damaris wandered through the aisles of the Diagon Alley, searching for something, something that she couldn't understand what was exactly and wasn't sure about it. She had been feeling a bit lonely lately and longed for a pet to be her company in her bedroom, she wanted a furry friend to lift her emotions when she's mad or had a bad day.
Almost instinctively, her feet led her to the pet shop in the alley. Without hesitation, she stepped inside, noticing the crowd of people in the place, some of they only watching the pets and others buying some pets, like owls, cats and other magical creatures that make her smile, she never saw those creatures.
She smiled to the people in the woman and man who were the assistant of the shop and started walking around, watching the pets with curiosity, thinking which one would be her new friend. She walk in front of the owls, petting some of them with kindness; she walk in front of the cats, smiling at them but none of them catch her real attention
"I should look for another...." she thought while keep walking in the shop, trying to evade the other kids that were there too. She would not say that she was introvert....but she always preferred to be calm and alone when she's not in the humor. She walked in front of the puppy's, she was going to continue walking when one of them catch her attention. It was small, with big brown eyes, moving his little tail with emotion while looking at her with that innocence that only little children and animals can give to a person, her heart melted with the sight of that puppy
"He's so cute.....it remains me to Cerberus...." She said in her mind, reminding Cerberus, the Guardian Dog of the Underworld gates. With a smile, she took the puppy in her arms, laughing while he licked her face, moving his tail with emotion, knowing that he was going to be adopted by her.
"this is.....this is the pet that I need" she thought while putting the puppy in her arms with gentle, making sure it do not fall. She walk to the counter, waiting some minutes with him in her arms, still moving his tail. After some minutes, she finally was attended by a kind man, who treat her with so much kindness that make her remember her grandpa. The man prepared everything that Damaris asked for the puppy and paid with her money, and after that, she took the puppy, Cerberus, with her.
