Is This What You Call A Meet-Cute?
Nick walks outside Herbology class, slightly annoyed. Professor MacTavish had assigned a bunch of homework today, quite frankly the most of any weekend assignment. He had been hoping to spend most of the weekend practicing a new song he just got the sheet music for, but that's down the drain now.@Ginevra Tsuchiya
Professor MacTavish was one of his favorite professors, mostly because he was one of the only professors to not ask him to repeat questions because of his accent, but sometimes the amount of homework given was ridiculous.
Walking back to the castle, he could barely take the time to appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Highlands because he was balancing all his books and papers in his arms. He still tried his best to though. Stoneywood was in Southern Scotland while the Highlands mostly resided up North so he didn't really get to experience its beauty much.
He remembered visiting them when his mom and dad were still together but since then most of their vacations were in England, mostly because their "vacations" were his mom on business trips for work, and Nick just does what he normally does but in a hotel.
Stepping onto the courtyard pavement, he had broken his attention from the stuff he was carrying and accidentally dropped a piece of paper behind him. Not checking to see if someone was behind him, Nick turned around and knelt down to pick it up. Just as he was standing up, BAM! There was a flurry of papers and Nick was on the ground, this time on his back, looking up at the person who crashed into him.
