For a fact, it is true that Selene missed out her entire first year, yes. That is true. But the Villainess always reveal near the end right? Well, that's what Selene sought to thought anyways. While many other of her colleagues were already going to graduate to their second year with many-experience already as a first year. She, on the other hand graduated soon enough to a second year. Does she regret it? Not having more experience on being a first year? No, she didn't. In her mind it was as if she was that one unknown character you didn't know that would be revealed. Yes-yes, it's usually the hero that comes late to parties, honestly if someone ever thought of her as a hero of any kind, it'll make her feel as if she was a 'good-two-shoes', something that she is not comfortable to be called as, she might even take it as offensive., there is nothing such as being right or wrong, good or bad. It only depends on how people see it, it's subjective.

Selene was ecstatic, of course she was, how could she not? She was going to Hogwarts. The school that her family takes pride in the most. One of the most known school from many countries around the world, she was more than ecstatic. Well, she could just go to Beauxbaton if things didn't work out anyways. Or maybe she could just go back to homeschooling again forgetting the fact that hogwarts ever existed and live on the rest of her life with more regrets bearing on her shoulder. Ugh, the thought about going back to private school only resulted in a scowl to her face, that quickly disappear turning into a calm yet blank expression plastered on the young girl's face. Ever since that time, she mentally keep a note to herself that you're never fully dress without a smile~ To show such a weakness like a scowl to her face is..quite shameful, to say the least. A small smile showed on her red lips as she continue walking. Fixing up her posture to make it look more ladylike while tugging a piece of her hair behind her back, no-not because someone caught her interest but because of the fact that she didn't have enough time to tidy it up the way she wanted to do it, perfectly. It looked more like a morning up-do rather than a tidy bun. She must admit that it suits her style tho, a very elegant grey stripped dress just a little above her knee. The dress in itself was a perfect match for her style.

Selene glanced over the big-vintage like train. It looked like she was being engulfed back to her father's days, the old days. Or one might say the dark era. Speaking of her father..surprisingly, the man decided to tag along with both Selene and her Aunt. It made Selene..nonetheless a little more cheered up, but she knows better than just to let her father in. The man only wanted her piece of mind again, to crack the puzzle inside her mind so that he could understand her and to let history repeat itself again. The man looked like any other business-man, tidy hair, fixated eyes, glasses, you name it. A total nerd for her Aunt Celeste tho. It was obvious for everyone to see, even a blind-person would notice immediately from the aura radiating from her. Selene was..happy for her, but if her Aunt tries to make her and her father have some alone bonding time, she'll immediately shrug it off. She will never forgive her father, never will, it's an oath she swore to her tainted heart. What was the point on forgiving someone if you couldn't even forget about it? It's just like doing homework so hard but in the end it wasn't even graded. Pointless, it would be pointless of her dad to try winning her favor again.

Finally, it was time to see her leave. Letting out a relieved sigh, she smiled as her heart beats louder. Finally, she could escape the uncomfortable aura her and her father caused. The trip going here was silent excluding the fact of her Aunt's excited aura of seeing her niece go off.

Celeste decided to bend down, so that she could see a better look of her niece before not seeing her for a while. Selene with the help of her Aunt manage to convince her Father to let her stay for the summer's event..although there were news of the principal going missing for a few months. Well, Selene don't know much about what's going on but she's hoping that she would be able to extract some information from the schools citizen...perhaps. she always loved mysteries either way.

Nonetheless, the look on Selene's Aunt was so heartwarming that it made her want to puke. With her dazzling eyes staring at hers, she said to her, "Remember, don't cause too much trouble to anyone. At least try to be behave yourself and to always smile when people greet you."Selene only rolled her eyes to her advice, well not that obvious to let her father see it tho. She nodded to her Aunt's 'wishes' before raising an eyebrow in case she had more things to say, and she did it. Her Aunt tugged her arm, whispering to her ear. "Remember what I told you, that night." Once again, Selene only nodded at her Aunt she didn't want to remember what happened on that demonic day. Her Aunt smiled at her, squishing her cheeks only for Selene to reply with an annoyed tone. She then glanced her eyes to her father who was off to look at his phone, replying to business. It truly angered her. She hated when he does that, she truly does.

The train let out a sound, meaning it was almost time for her to go. Knowing for a fact that her father wouldn't even say anything to her. With her eyebrows furrowed, and her gritting her teeth, she didn't bother to go hop on the train. Not even caring to look back or say anything to her father and off she goes.

At last, the girl found a compartment for her to relax. She closed the curtains, fixed her sleeves and began to prepare for her journey on Hogwarts Express. Getting her trunk placed was hard enough, truly it was considering how heavy the thing is, If only both her strength was as strong as she is. Letting out a relieved sigh, she sat down not forgetting to grab a book from her trunk. No, it was not about the wizarding world, it was a simple 'horror' novel book about a ghost named Hendrick. A book based of the series 'Danur'. It was one of her favorite books to read. She loved the series to the core, not because of the fact it was a sad story, it depicted every kind of sin a human child could commit. Hendrick, was about envy. How amusing. Positioning her legs sideways while her eyes continued to focus on the book. At least it could help her clear her mind off, cooling it off.

Akina looked at the wall of the platform, the instructions were clear, but what was she suppose to do? She looked around the building until she saw one person without fear rush into the wall. Her body froze. "Am I suppose to do that?" she thinks, her eyes widening to a comical effect.

Her father just nudges her, pushing her forward towards the offending wall with soft spoken eyes. Knowing fully well that her daughter needed that extra push to get her moving. "You need to get moving, the train will not wait for you." She hears, her father pushing her further. Akina knows that she will be followed by her parents, they right behind her as she runs forward. Her hair flying behind her in her ponytail as her eyes pierce the wall.

"I can do this, I can do this! It's not a wall its a door. Just a weird door that I feel like I could smash into. You got this Akina, you are not going to-" Her mind starts to rampage through her thoughts, closing her eyes as she was about to hit the wall through the platform. Akina's mind stopping when she thought she would hit the wall. She opened her eyes, sapphire blue orbs looking around to find she was indeed alive and on a train platform.

A loud whistle brought her to her senses, her parents giving her another push. The girl nods as she bows to her father and gives her mother a kiss on the cheek. "I'm going to miss you." she cries, rushing to give them a big hug and rushing into the train before it closes.

Most of the doors are closed, people clustering together and making friends. Akina swallows as she tries to find an open cabin, hoping the person inside is nice or at least friendly.

"You can do this"

She finally finds a cabin with only a single girl inside, her mind races as she tries to read the schooled features as she nears the door. Akina's eyes go to the book, recognizing the cover but not sure from where. Her memory was better than most, so she knew that the feeling was correct. Well her mind will supply it in good time if she was around the stimulus long enough.

Opening he cabin door slowly, not to disturb the girl reading, Akina tries to stealth-fully sneak in. Her eyes never leave the girl's face as to immediately apologize from interrupting, but this was the only cabin she could find empty in quite some time. "I hope this doesn't backfire in my face"

Woah! That's so cool! I want to try!

This was it. She was going to Hogwarts, of course Selene had to remind herself at least twice since she had been waiting for this day almost her entire life. She was ecstatic fortunately enough, she was able to hide it very well to not make it look so apparent or more less visible in her face. Beside, you'll never know who or what is watching, being a deception is nonetheless a requirement inside her family.

She was just getting to the good part of the story, where Hans and Hendrick went onto a vacation somewhere in the mountains. Oh how she loved, the part where the main protagonists would soon go head-on with the conflict. The part where Hendrick will realize the harsh reality of the world, the beginning of it all.

She flipped the page with her other hand, which before was just seated on her lap. Once more, she fixed the strings of her hair that was covering parts of her side-face. From then on you could see that her eyes were focused on how beautifully the story is written, how full of tension it could build to the story. Her jewel-icy eyes that were shining underneath the little slit of sunshine coming from the window closed by the velvety curtains, as the train begins to move. You could even see the true color of her hair which actually had dark brown highlights. She let out a small sigh, slightly remembering what her Aunt said to her back on the platform. However soon enough, her attention would be stolen away by another brunette one that looked like another average girl. The girl had long dark brown hair and blue piercing eyes, almost the same as Selene, to say the least.

A smirk began to curve on her ruby lips. However, she made sure to not let the girl know immediately that Selene noticed her walking inside the compartment with her. 'How fun,' She thought 'a first acquaintance inside hogwarts.' Selene couldn't help but giggle at her apologizing for disturbing her reading time. As well that it would backfire her in any sort of way, making her let out another giggle. At least the girl had some manners despite her defensive appearance, well she's safe for now or so to say. Besides, Selene wasn't in the mood to make someone dislike her already.

She cleared up her throat before putting down her book down gracefully on her lap, examining the person in front of her as if she was trying to read her. With a soft smile to her face and her head slightly sideways, she begins,

"Now-now, at least you apologized. Don't worry much, I wouldn't do anything as of the moment. I believe I haven't told you my name, Selene Ackermann. Pleasure."

The young girl greeted, noticing that she saw this girl before..Ah yes, the one that hesitated to go inside the wall. Lovely. She slightly envies the fact that she still had a mother, not that she shows it tho.

"I couldn't help but notice that you glanced at my book, perhaps you know it..of the sort?"She asked politely. Although with that smirk of her it was sure she had something else in mind.

Akina pouted at the smirk on Selena's ruby lips, her mind fluttering like she was being bullied of sorts. She was better than this, she was a witch that was able to come to this prestigious school. Sure she didn't know this before coming to Diagon Alley to buy her things for the school, but that is not the point. Her innate magic allowed her to be here and she has every right not to be looked down on.

"It is rude to interrupt people when they are doing something. My parents taught me manners, thank you." Her eyes lighten a bit, the piercing icy blue softening back to a lull of sapphire.

The girl bows, another polite thing she learned from her parents. She would always get looks when she did this, but this was how she was taught to introduce herself. "My name is Akina Kuroshima. Sorry for interrupting your reading time, when I saw the cover I thought I recognized it. It is oddly familiar so I don't think it's a wizard book, I think I saw it in a bookstore back home." More and more words spew out of her mouth, trying to explain that she has never read the book, but she knows that someone she knew had and always wondered what it was about. After a moment or two she stops, freezes at the rampage of probably unwarranted words before bowing again and sitting down.

Her body was tense and straight, hands crossed on her lap as she tries to look apologetically at the girl before her. Akina always does this, and she hates it to her core. "This was suppose to be a new start, a new me. Yet here I am mumbling to myself like an idiot"

Selene couldn't help but be slightly amused. The pout on her lips made her think that perhaps she took things a little too far. Nevertheless, she was only being straightforward with what she said, if she were to apologize it'll only be pointless merely because she doesn't mean it and her pride would get in the way, so to was better for her to stay shut about it. Selene always dislikes people withno manners, but that doesn't mean she hates them, no, in fact on how much she dislike them could be categorized in two different reactions, disgust or fascination. It depends on the characteristic of the person, but yes she could appreciate people with manners. From the looks of it as well from what she notice from earlier events, the girl was a muggle-born. Someone who doesn't know much about the existence of wizards, as well even magic. However she's not one to underestimate people just because it was based on their bloodline. Many great wizards come from many different bloodline, however the muggleborns are at a disadvantage of the wizarding world since, as she explained earlier, nothing. Selene fixed her posture, awaiting the girl's response.

Selene's smirk once again turned into a smile. With one of her hand placed beneath her chin, one finger caressing her cheek. Selene examined the girl once more, through her defensive reaction and her body language.

"Smile my dear, you're never fully dressed without one~" Selene commented in a cheery tone, it's true, she believes people that couldn't smile are weak. Regardless of their physical strength, they are weak to her. "I never asked if you saw it on the streets or not. I only asked whether you knew the book or not. Appreciate the unimportant explanation." She replied to her before continuing, this time, quite confident about the reason behind the girl's defensive aura."Well, good for you and your parents, it seems that they taught you well. Still, no more excessive bowing no one would like to be treated as if they were an elder of a shrine or something." She commented.
Her body was tense and straight, hands crossed on her lap as she tries to look apologetically at the girl before her. Akina always does this, and she hates it to her core. "This was suppose to be a new start, a new me. Yet here I am mumbling to myself like an idiot"
Selene raised an eyebrow. Confidently sure oh her deductions that happened in her mind while they were having an interaction. The brunette girl's defensive system, the body language movements as well mumbling to herself, She was bullied, wasn't she? Rough childhood isn't it? Don't we all have one at least? She sighed remembering again what her Aunt said at the platform to 'try' to be nice to people. Selene rolled her eyes, not that obvious for the girl in front of her to notice. She could be foolish sometimes, she admits, she had to be more softer to people sometimes. "If you continue to mumble things on your own like that, no wonder people would think you're an idiot you know." Selene again commented on the girl's behavior, this time it was either her or another student that would say it. Besides coming from her would be better than not knowing what's to come once they get to hogwarts. She was harsh, but at least she's realistic and straightforward enough to tell the truth rather than hiding it. She hated liars.

Haha, apologies, Selene is a rather hard person to deal with truly a jerk. I think I'm going to go offline tho for now, it's already one in the morning~ You could just reply to her. I'll reply as soon as I could. Also, you're very lovely to RP with, don't forget to make Akina's Encyclopedia~ can't wait to see it!

Akina flicks to a straighter position. She hadn't released that she had spoken out loud, eyes widening and her sapphire eyes flickering with a glow of fear. Looking at Selene she looks at the girl's face, searching for something before Akina started to laugh.

The laugh was full and hearty, coming deep from within her core. She toppled over in her laughter as she tries to reign it in but it just causes her to laugh harder. Akina doesn't even know why she's laughing, but the feeling just kept washing over her. Wiping her eyes Akina tries again to stop the laughter, it still bubbling in her throat.

Breathe in. One, two, three. Breathe out. One, two, three.

FInally able to calm herself she looks over at Selene. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh, and I'm not laughing at you! You just remind me of a friend back home. She was more of a firecracker but her voice was always like knives." She smiles puts her hand behind her head in a nervous gesture. "And I know I'm not an idiot, just different cultured. My parents are from the east and my mannerisms sometimes go in that direction."

She settled down again, more loose as she stretches like a cat on the seat. Making sure her skirt doesn't show anything before fully lying down. "Anyway, what is that book about? I might pick one up when we go home for break."

In the summer, everything was loud and busy, including Diagon Alley. Tristan walked, shutting out everyone, towards Ollivanders. He wondered what the wandmaker would make of him, which was why he saved getting a wand for last.He went into the dark store and Mr. Ollivander said “Ahhh... Tristan Theramin, I remember your father’s wand, 28,4 cm elm wood with a core of Phoenix feather.” He pushed toward Tristan a wand made of cherry wood and said, “Try this one.” Of course, the wand exploded the papers on the desk instead of performing a spell. Indeed this process had to be repeated five times until a perfect wand chose Tristan: a 23,2 cm chestnut wood and phoenix feather core wand. The wand felt to Tristan as if his best friend had come back and hugged him. Gulping, he paid his Galleons and ran. Truly, he ran back to his tutor’s house and sat there. He hadn’t thought about Edward with such emotion in a year. In the end, he just shrugged himself out of the episode and continued his day.

Two Months Later
Tristan walked alone towards platform 9 and 3/4. His parents as usual had decided that as heir to a Noble House that he was to take this journey alone. They had met him in London the day before and congratulated him on his Hogwarts letter. They hugged him, which he tried to refuse, but had been forced to anyway. They implied that his imposed coldness and lack of love was a detriment to his character. Like always, it seemed as if they blamed themselves for his decision to be more intelligent rather than human. Tristan comforted them because he knew that they did love him and that he loved them even if it wasn’t a feeling anymore. He already had his supplies and was quite ready to get to the train and Hogwarts. He was ready to learn, to grow in power and intellect whether it be magic or influence.
The next day came quickly if he allowed himself to say such a sentimental statement. They apparated him close to King Cross’ Station and then said their goodbyes and went home. Tristan walked to the wall between Station 9 and 10 and walked calmly through the barrier. The train was indeed as old fashioned as he heard. It was still a steam engine that powered its movement rather than electricity. Then he scolded himself for that mistake of assuming that wizards would ever want to adapt to muggles. Even after the defeat of Voldemort, there still were people who supported wizard supremacy. In some ways, Tristan agreed... car crashes could be stopped, and he would not be this way: unknowing of the beautiful and frozen against caring. As his thoughts continued, he stepped into the train and searched for a place to think. Everything was excellent until people bombarded him with questions and offers of friendship. His ears were bursting and his annoyance had read its limit when he finally found a room.
Ahh, silence at last.People were being more persistent and boring in the train than ever in my life. He wondered, Does anyone observe the school robes? They have our names inscribed on them! Our year must have an increased occurrence of stupidity. But now he had finally been able to sit down to begin his observation and studies. There was a girl there who was better than most. At least she had the decency of silence. Her name was Selene based on the inscription on her trunk, her bun was hastily done, and she was wearing a grey dress. She looked proper so she had most likely gone to a public school before this, showing either her intelligence, her family’s wealth or both. She was reading a book from the series of Danur about a ghost. Interesting but not uncommon. An alliance with her would be amicable in order to achieve my goals.

I lifted my head, stood up, walked over and said, “You’re not an idiot like the others. Tristan of the Noble House of Theramin at your service.”

The young girl's lips were pressed tightly shut, as she watches the girl in front of her enjoying her situation. The laugh that came out of her made Selene slightly more annoyed. She shifted her posture to a more comfortable one. What? Was the girl a masochist of the sort? Or is she enjoying the situation on purpose in order to reverse the situation? Selene did for a fact told her to smile, but the heartful tone that came with the laughter made her think that the girl was a masochist. Either way, Selene dislikes it. It's very true at times that Selene could be easily annoyed by many things, however she knows better to at least make a good first impression, well of course, with a smile. Selene grabbed her book with her other hand, examining it again.

"I remind you..of a friend?" Selene thought about it for a moment. She then looked at the girl once more, her expressions still the same one as before. The verb 'was' as she told Selene how she reminded her of her 'friend.' 'Ah, so she was betrayed as well?' Her instinct told her immediately, maybe she was wrong or maybe she was right, either way it was only a guess which means it hasn't been proven yet to turn itself into a conclusion is quite a bit out of the line. But Selene's pride can sometimes be her biggest weakness she knew she wasn't going to be put in Slytherin for nothing.

"You said 'was', I assume there's more of a story behind it than you told me." She replied with a now, much softer tone. Perhaps it was out of pity, but she knows what it feels like to be betrayed. After all there's a saying that goes along the lines 'Betrayal is not done by strangers, but people who are closest to you.' Selene's eyes glanced outside of the window, the view reminded her of a painting of the sort, a beautiful scenery that has not been destroyed by it's inhabitants itself. Once again, Selene's thoughts was cut off by another student joining both of the girls inside the cabin.

'I must have daydreamed again.' This time, in front of them both a boy that looks none other than a nobility. She glanced her eyes at the boy, examining his features, He looked like one the sons of the companies her father knew. 'Another one of those rich boys,' Her mind silently groaned. This one however, based on his body language looks like a more decent one. His hair was neat and tidy and his features were not-so-bad. What else do you expect from a wealthy boy? Another heir as well? Mentally, she noted that through her journey she will meet many people that she could relate to her with her past, however she will always have to be careful on how it morphs them into a person. Selene cleared her throat, before replying back to his greeting.

"Pleasure. I'm not sure what you mean by an 'idiot' like others except the one sitting in front of me as of the moment, but compliment taken. My name is Selene Ackermann, however by the looks of it you already seem to know. My question is, how?" It was either the boy had a good memory for remembering her family's company or that he have heard of her from god knows where.

Akina opened her mouth to reply but immediately shut it, her mouth making a clicking noise as she shut it. She studies the boy as she raised from her lazing cat-pose, hey going a sharp icy blue. Flipping her hair forward she glares at the new-comer. They had ruined the calm and energize room she tried to create, one she was familiar with and wanted to keep. It could have helped Selene open up and loosen up a bit.

She didn't know why she felt so strongly to try and protect this girl from the boy that entered, maybe it was the way Selene acted like Marylene. They didn't look the same by any means, Mary being more on the chubbier side but her eyes were soft. Like coming home and dreading leaving. Selene wasn't like that, her aura more of a stern mother who always disapproved. Akina was sure there was something beneath the surface there.

"Well since I'm just the jester of the story, I'll just pout in this corner, do continue to ignore me good sir" Akina spit, eyes still filled with vemon. "I can tell when I'm not welcome" She stands and pulls a board out with string around a nail. Ignoring the boy as she starts to knot and build a rope like pattern, the different colours flowing through the strings.

Hmmm, interesting. She knew it was a compliment. Tristan was intrigued by her answer. By now most would have already been either pitiful or angered. Tilting his head he said, “Your trunk, it has your name on it. You must have not liked your previous school, a public one if I might say.”

Tristan did not wait for an answer and continued on, “As for the first statement, let her prove herself.”

He then turned his attention to Akina. He knew that was her name as he had heard the conversation the two females were having as he entered the compartment. “Akina, we wouldn’t want to undermine you. Prove yourself so that you can start anew here at Hogwarts. That is what you wanted isn’t it? Let’s rewind the clock and you can prove yourself to be a worthy intellectual. Also, I am sure you must have other talents that you can show if not intelligence.” Tristan calmly instructed. He had not lost all of his empathy and it would be hypocritical of him to accept someone else’s opinion as truth. “And anyway by idiots I meant the people outside of this compartment who would not stop pestering me for friendship and my name when I explicitly told them that I refused. My name is indeed on my school robes as you can see and friends are something I do not have.”
After saying this Tristan slowly folded his hands and then said a riddle.
“My favorite number is in fact 854917632. What is special about such a number? Next, where is a place that has roads without vehicles, streets without people, and rivers without animals or dams?

Tristan then closed his eyes and seemingly went to sleep but rather was thinking and cataloging his new acquaintances’ behaviors.
