Cafe Musain 2019~2020 Les Amis de l’ABC club

Scarlett felt slightly out of place but decided to go with it and take it in her stride. She sat down with the other three - there was Lindsey Springhall (must remember to call her that!) who was a fair blonde Hufflepuff. Then there was another girl, and they were calling her Bellamy? Quite a nice surname. She was elegant-looking and held herself up high - she also looked like she cared for her appearance meticulously. The boy Scarlett didn't know, but he had wavy hair that faded to only a slight white at the tips.

Scarlett smiled at them all. "So..." she started. "About the surname and the nickname thing, well, then you can call me Aden. I'm not sure what you mean by nickname though."

She placed her hands on the sides of her chair in a more relaxed position. Just then, another girl swiftly entered the room.

"Oh, hello," she said awkwardly. Then girl paused for a moment. "I'm Zola."

Scarlett was the first to respond. "I'm Aden...I guess Adey would be easier? Anyway - er - welcome to the club!"

She glanced at Springhall quickly before someone else entered the room. Thank goodness Scarlett was definitely not late with two new arrivals.

The new girl she also had no clue of, so Scarlett guessed she was in either Ravenclaw or Slytherin by the looks of it. Her hair was a wavy brown and her eyes startling green.

The girl looked like she knew the other girls including 'Zola' and said, "Fancy meeting you here Springhall, Bellamy and Zoldak."

So that was it Zola was for!

"Name's Ironwoods," she continued. "What are we doing today?"

"I'm Adey," said Scarlett. "And..."

She looked at Springhall again.

Aden entered after a short while. Then Zoldak and Ironwoods. These girls all look pretty nice and friendly.
Lindsey felt relieved, as she had never begun a club before. What if they don’t like it? She had some concerns. However, they were here, right here, at last, to have a chat together.
She greeted everybody and the new girls asked about their schedule today.
“Hmm, as this is our first meeting, let’s just talk a little about our school so far. How’s your class going?” She asked.
No one replied. Maybe they are a little nervous?
“Feel free to chat everyone!” Lindsey encouraged. “Then I’ll begin first. My classes are not bad so far. I thought I would be excellent at Charms but I got an A the first class.” Lindsey paused a little while.
“Potions was my nightmare before I came to Hogwarts. I’m afraid of worms (actually I used to suppose my boggart would be them) and I fell terrible when hearing that you need to slice the worms on Potions class. However I found I’m good at it——I don’t mean chopping worms! That is, I do well research on this subject and I’m not feeling terrible anymore!”
She laughed. Yeah, you’ll have to accept things happening surrounding you. Maybe they aren’t that great like you think, but they won’t be that bad either. That’s maybe so called “life”.
“And, just call me Holly everyone! Springhall’s a bit long to pronunce.” she added, and waiting for other’s reply.

After taking a seat, Springhall began talking. Well, Springhall was now Holly. Much less of a mouthful. Nell was weary about conversing with them, but, as if her awkwardness was sucked out of her, she replied. “Well, my classes are going quite well. Charms is my best class, and Herbology is my worst,” she said. Nell herself was surprised that she had spoken up, but she decided to go with it. The two, Holly and Nell, waited for one of the others to say something. Everyone seemed quite awkward, and Nell was beginning to feel it. Was it even a good idea to be a part of this club at all? She contemplated this for a moment and then decided yes. Nell didn’t join clubs because she wanted to socialize, so she must be here for a reason. Nell settled on that thought and glanced at the others. Silence. Nobody else wanted to answer Holly’s question, and Nell had been the only one to. She didn’t like being the only one, so she hoped someone would say something sooner or later. It was getting awkward.

Lucille, wait- no, Will had just stumbled into the Cafe Musain for first "Friends Of The Abc" meeting when she realized the meeting had already started."S-sorry if I'm late!"Will said quite worried as she approached the other members.They had already began to introduce themselves."Just call me Will by the way."She added quickly."Williams is a bit long anyway."The first year made her way to one of the tables and placed her school bag down.Most of the other members continued their small talk, the topic was classes it seemed.Will thought to herself for a few seconds."Do I even have a best and worst class?"She wondered."I think I like Potions and Herbology the most."Will said aloud so she could actually be apart of the conversation."Though I like Transfiguration, I'm pretty rubbish at flying.."While awaiting a reply Will continued to look around the room in case she might notice anyone she knew. Thankfully if seems she did see a few familiar faces.One student being Cassandra Ironwoods, though now she's being called 'Woody'.There were a few another face Will recognized, a girl,Nell, her name was? Yes, Will had seen her in the corridors, and plenty of times in the common room.Though of course,Nell would be called 'Zola' from now on.The only other person she could recognize was a boy,Leo was it? No, it was Lester.Everyone seemed to be calling him 'Loller' now though,so now he would be called Loller."How interesting,"Will thought."At least we all got cool nicknames."

After Cassie entered the room, another girl followed. She said her apology for being late and introduced her name as Will. The red head girl also introduce her name, which by now will be call as Adey. On the other hand, Springhall told the other occupants of the room to call her Holly. "If that the case, call me Woody"Cassie can not help to chuckles, find their own shorten surname amusing.

Holly told today agenda just talk about classes and school. Cassie waiting for any one from the room speak up. The first one is Holly which she setting a good example since she is the leader of this group. Holly told the room that she pretty good at Charms but coined that Potions is a nightmare.

"I second that thought"Cassie quipped. Then Nell Zola said her pieces. Saying that Charms is her best class and Herbology is her worst. "I am the opposite of you there, for the Herbology part I mean"The young Serpent said. Next it is Will turn to tell the room. She told the other that she likes Herbology and Potions the most. Will also seems excelled in Transfiguration.

Cassie for the life of them, always half asleep during the class. At the mention of Flying, Cassie ears perk up. "I can help you if you want to study or practice Flying"The green eyes girl offered to Will. "I excelled in Flying along side Charms and Herbology. If any of you need assistance to overcome your fear of flying, do not hesitant to ask for my help"Cassie expressed to the group.
