A few days ago, Percy received an invitation to an event near the London quidditch stadium which was some sort of reward for him and his houses effort in the house point cup. In his lifetime, he had been there a few times to watch games with his family but never on his own. However, he didn't know of any games scheduled to be taking place on the date given. Who knew what hogwarts had planned for them...
When he arrived outside of the stadium the pitches outside were full of tents, all of which spanned in different sizes and colours. The invitation told him to wait in line at a particular tent, one with navy blue with silver fastenings. You would think it would be hard to find in such a vast area, but it was quite obvious where it was. Many people young and old were queuing up outside, each one handing their invitation to a young lad outside the entrance. Percy folded his arms and gazed over to the boy in question, whose appearance was quite unusual. Half of his face had a black mark running along side it, almost like a burn mark. Soon enough, it was his time to hand in the invitation. He slowly handed over the invitation from his hoodie pocket, watching on as the boy set it aflame. The note almost sounded like it was screaming in pain, and part of it would soon echo to Percy.
A burning sensation went across his arm which wrote out the number "Nineteen", the pain forcing him to wince slightly. He gave one last look at the boy before walking over to the others, who had already been given their numbers "It's almost as if they are branding us like cattle..." he said over to the trio, while rolling up his jumper sleeve to check the number on his arm.

Invitation in hand, Dee bounced on the balls of her feet impatiently. She didn't quite know what this was, but she had an invitation, and it seemed interesting, didn't it? There were a bunch of other students around her, all also with tickets in their hands, although most of them seemed to be Slytherins. She spotted Søren, the Slytherin first year she had met during the Origami event, and gave him a friendly wave before directing her attention back towards the front. How much further until it was her turn?
Stretching up on the tips of her toes to be able to see past the boy in front of her, Dee suddenly recognized the brunette in front of him - or the back of her head at least.
"Ileen!" she called, excitement colouring in her voice, and was prepared to just cut in front of the boy with a blinding smile to go stand with her friend, when she realized that her friend was already at the front of the queue, showing her ticket. Oh well. Hopefully they wouldn't be assigned seats in order of arrival or anything and she could still sit with Ileen.
Now that she had finally reached the front of the queue herself, Dealla held out her invitation with a smile when prompted. "Here, of course," she said, friendly by nature, but frowned a bit when she looked at the teen who was currently, curiously, setting her invitation on fire. He seemed somewhat familiar, but that wasn't what bothered her. Something about him, his skin, seemed off.
"Are you okay?" she asked, squinting slightly. "You don't... look so good."
She was distracted from the boy's strange appearance by a sudden burning sensation on her upper arm. With a yelp, she slapped her hand over the burning spot, then pushed up her sleeve to look at it. Had something stung her? But - no. There was a number, branded on her skin: 20.
Struck speechless, Dealla stared at the brand, before looking back up to demand an explanation, only to see that the boy was already busy talking to the next person in line.
She was fairly certain this was not normal admission procedure.

What is the First Rule...
~ * ~It started with an invitation. Ruby shouldn't be here. She knew she shouldn't be here. But despite the attack with the spiders, despite the secret Blossom Ball, despite being a prefect and therefore supposed to be responsible and sensible and grown up, she still ended up here. By now, maybe she should have learned. She should have learned to be more suspicious of things and then act on that suspicion, rather than just doing it anyway. But she was a child, and many children had poor impulse control. Perhaps her curiosity—a trait that had helped her so much in the past and allowed her to learn a lot—would be her downfall.
There were many people here. A trap? A perfect opportunity to wreak havoc? Or did the numbers provide more safety, more witnesses? She entered the tent and queued in line, along with the others. Glancing around, she spotted one of her friends further towards the front. It was Koko. Ruby smiled and managed to catch the girl's eye, returning a nod when her friend acknowledged her. She was a couple of spots ahead of her and Ruby wasn't sure if she should necessarily talk in here, but she would definitely feel awkward doing so with a few people in between them. She returned to waiting, but she wouldn't have to do so for long.
When it came her turn at the front, she met the gaze of a teen. There was a vague familiarity about it, but she couldn't place it. She didn't quite know who he was, even though she could have sworn that, for a moment, he seemed to recognise her. Was she just making it up? She obliged with his request and handed over her invitation, watching idly as he burned it. Why? Was there something to hide? Were they just paranoid here? She felt a sharp sting on her right arm and instinctively put her hand up, looking at what had caused the pain. A number "21" had appeared. Frowning, she stepped off to the side and joined the others that she had seen there.Abilities: N/A (currently)

Erik was antsy. He couldn't help not play with the edges of the sleeves of his sweatshirt. All too well he remembered what had transpired not so long ago that night in the Slytherin Common Room. The werewolf could still feel the dark spiders crawl on his skin whenever he closed his eyes. A shiver went down his spine as he recollected the events unfolding that night. The physical pain that coursed through his body. The mental prison he was in as his body kept twitching and turning in unnatural angles as if it tried to avoid the pain in vain.
The Slytherin shook his head. When he looked in front of him, he sighed as he saw the person in front of him. It wasn't going nearly as fast as he had wanted to. Get a move on it, will ya? It wasn't personal he just didn't like waiting or to be left alone with his thoughts at the moment. He wanted to do something. Anything at this point.
Finally, it was his turn. The boy in front of him had a familiar face, but Erik couldn't for the life of him remember where he recognised him from. Before he could ask if they had met before the boy asked for his ticket. Silently Erik handed it over only to see it get up in flames. A sudden white hot flash of pain came from his right shoulder. The blond boy balled his hands into fists and gritted his teeth. As the pain subsided Erik rolled up his sleeve to see the number 22 carved into his skin.

Ileen just spotted Opeila nearby when she heard a yelp. Surprised, she turned around and spotted a familiar girl with brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. She was looking at her shoulder, which also had a number burned into it.
Ileen felt a wave of relief and at the same time, she was also more worried. She felt that the more people got involved, the worse it was. Although she would have liked to hug her best friend, the atmosphere was so oppressive that she only dared to whisper. “Dee? What are you doing here? Do you know what’s going on?”
She grabbed the Ravenclaw by the arm to pull her aside a little. Standing here in the middle was more than uncomfortable for her.
At this very moment, another familiar voice made her turn around. Wasn’t that Erik, first in line now? Ileen flinched as she watched him clench his fists because of the pain. He looked really grim. Still, she paused to get him to join their little group as well. "Erik. Over here!" she whispered and waved to the tall blond boy.

Ezekiel, like the rest of Slytherin, had received an invitation to meet at the London Quidditch Stadium. He didn't arrive with anyone himself, but instead following behind a few other people he recognized. As he reached the front of the line he was asked for his invitation and watched as it was burned over the small flame.
It was then he felt the pain on his upper arm, leaving an "23" burned into his arm. But the pain quickly subsided, and then he moved on, rejoining the larger group of Slytherins. But

Magical London... Nico hadn't seen before. This was a first. There was a different side to Muggle London? She should've seen it coming. She had seen weirder stuff in the two years she had attended Hogwarts.
In some queue, not sure for what as she was holding a paper with an invitation of some kind. Hesitantly, Nico walked up to a boy that only vaguely looked like someone she saw before. But she couldn't tell where... Maybe it was just her mind playing games with her. Her fear for the unknown was greater than ever. The only thing that soothed most of her nerves, was that she wasn't alone. Many of her peers had showed up. As a Prefect she should've known how to react but she was too distracted by this new environment.
"I see you got an invitation, can I see it?"
Not knowing what else to do with the piece of paper, she handed it to him, watching it burn in his hands. 'I- Ow.. What the..' Compared the pain she had to endure at the spider incident, everything else seemed more durable and less painful. Lifting up her sleeve to take a closer look, she noticed the number '24' branded on her right shoulder. What? Were they cattle now? However she couldn't help but think about the numbers that the characters of vocaloid also had numbers on their shoulders. This was... way more scary than that of course...
Nico would rub the brand with her hand, hoping to ease the stinging pain as it slowely subsided, glaring at the boy. Who was he?...
Quietly, she continued to walk in, keeping an eye on him for a while, glancing over her shoulder.

The invitation clutched in her left and dominant hand was wrinkled in the tightening grip, Persephone vaguely wondering what it was she was truly doing here. Both in front and behind her, a queue of fellow Slytherins, all with that same piece of paper like bugs summoned by decay. It would’ve best been circumvented, the girl staying put wherever she was before and ignoring the will as it wrote itself, but instead, Persy put herself through the misery of standing motionless on aching legs that would rather rest or run from the source of their pain. Regardless of the familiarity all throughout the location, she did not ignite a conversation, but instead stared blankly at the green eyes of the teen toward the front.
When it came to her turn, the boy’s look void of any child-like quality, Persy was admittedly silent as she handed him the invitation, watching as it turned to ash before her eyes. The trance that consumed her made everything the boy said a dull buzz. As it burned, so did the young blonde, a pain that she believed to only sting on the inside before realizing it spread like thread through her right arm, a near-silent sharp breath inward. A number, imprinted on the skin, dehumanizing her entire existence in a way that didn’t upset her, but truthfully made her feel more at home. 25. A name, a number, a personality, all hers. Her left hand shot up instinctively behind her ear, but with a quick nod and grimace of pain, Persephone disappeared past the table. That grimace, however, slowly sewed itself into a smile, dimly delighted but incredibly sinister.

Dee let out a squawk when she was suddenly pulled to the side, just before she opened her mouth to take the guy to task for his subpar treatment of guests, but her eyes lit up when she recognized who it was that had taken hold of her arm. "Ileen," she said, her eyes sparkling. "No, I have no clue. I just got this invitation, and thought it sounded interesting? What about you? And why are there so many Slytherins around here?" She gestured to the other students standing around in groups. They didn't usually appear in flocks this big. "Oh, and did you also get a number?" She squinted at the sweater fabric that covered her friend's shoulder. "That hurt. I wonder what that is about."
Dealla turned with Ileen, curious at what had drawn the Slytherin's attention, and then blinked when she heard the name of the blond boy who had apparently been standing in the queue only a few steps behind her. "Erik?" she repeated, her interest piqued. "The Erik? The one and only, the infamous?" She grinned brightly and her eyes flickered first to the girl at her side and then back to the boy who had been the central topic of many rants from Ileen that Dee had listened to with growing amusement over time. "Oh, I want to meet him."

Selim was immediately suspicious when he got an invitation to some sort of... event without applying for one. His Otou-sama nor his Okaa-sama would apply him to something this... public. In fact, they would sternly disagree with such a situation, claiming the Kuroda clan could easily attack and kidnap him in such a crowd.
His suspicion only grew when he saw practically all of Slytherin house there. They had won the house cup, perhaps that gave them an immediate invitation to such a thing?
No, without signing up for it... it just didn't make sense!
Of course, Selim decided to go just because of that suspicion. After the Blossom Ball disaster, he intended to insert himself into anything that was 'odd'. He wanted to find the pieces to the puzzling mystery that was 'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry', and he didn't intend to let fear stop him. If he did that, he would've locked himself in a celler with no intention of ever coming out a long time ago.
His ever-present curiosity largely outweighed his self-preservation... and he knew that was a dangerous thing, but he couldn't help it! His primal urge for more knowledge still wasn't smothered by his clan, no matter how much they disapproved of it.
He had seen a few familiar faces, most he didn't know the name of, but he recognized one particular red-headed boy.
Fingering his dual hidden knives that were concealed in the folds of his robes, he did a mental checklist of what he brought with him to this suspicious situation.
'Dual daggers, small medical kit, useless wand...
and my paranoia.' He thought clinically.
Walking up to the strange boy behind the desk that gave him a faint feeling of unease (Though he supposed that everyone gave him a sense of unease... this time it's just more prominent), he handed him his invitation, watching it burn with narrowed eyes.
Afterward, Selim felt a familiar white-hot pain on his upper arm. Spinning around in a fighting position, one hand resting on the hidden hilt of one of his daggers, he looked to see who had attacked him... only to see no one.
Blinking slowly, he rolled up his sleeve, catching sight of a fresh brand on his arm, overlapping with one of his scars to make a rather knotted mess that was barely legible in the twisted scar tissue.
It faintly read a number... 26. A number that, in a twist of cruel irony, is considered holy to some degree. Fate had a disturbing sense of humor.
Turning back to the tainted-looking teen behind the desk, Selim narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the familiar blue orbs of the unnatural person before him. Wariness glinted in his own gaze, like a predator inspecting its opponent.
Finally, he moved, not wanting to hold up the line any further, and shifted through the crowd, looking for that head of red hair.
Upon finding it he walked up to the taller boy, tapping his arm in wordless communication. He imagined the scars underneath the clothes of the redhead, inflicted by his own hand, but quickly shoved the down memory, leaving behind only a dull ache in his chest.
"Fox. It's good to see you in relatively good health." He stated in a near-monotone, before glancing around with a narrowed yellow gaze. Moving a bit closer, he whispered in a volume just loud enough for Burnett to hear, "I do hope you find this all suspicious, yes?"
He wanted to know if his dormmate was still as sharp as usual, he had to make sure, even though he logically assumed that the answer to his question was an affirmative.
