@Noah PageNoah Page…she hadn’t heard this name before. The only Slytherin she knew was Gerald——or Mr.G, as she liked to call him. And Noah’s second year! It’s really interesting for Lindsey.
“Um, nice to meet you again, Noah——may I call you that?” she smiled.
She hadn’t talk so long with an unacquainted second year before. It’s, well, truly amazing for Lindsey. Noah’s definitely had the same interests with her——muggle studies and books.
They were somehow alike, cause the boy seemed shy to chat with unknown people too. However, they did talk——maybe that’s so called “serendipity”? Lindsey’s pretty glad with her own good luck to find a friend when just reading in the library.
Ah, she had forgot this.
“Noah, take it——” she handed her book to him. “Have a read about the book in the evening when you are back at your common room again——I heard that your common room’s…dark and cold? A good novel could drive away coldness and darkness you know.” she said.
“And, this is the most famous one in the series. It’s the second book but the first one is sort of prequel so it’s pretty easy to understand the story! Come and get the other ones in the series after reading this!” Lindsey added.
Yeah, Noah’s her friend now——and even if he doesn’t, Lindsey felt that he’ll be a good owner of her books. This kind, friendly boy deserved it.

He shrugged, he didn't really mind people calling him by first name or anything, did anyone? He had no idea but he did appreciate her respect either way. "Sure." He replied, not sure if he should've asked her for the same or not but he usually did refer to people by their first names so it probably shouldn't be too much of a big deal...
He was a bit shocked when she decided to hand her copy of the book she was reading over to him. He wasn't exactly expecting and wasn't sure what to say. "T-thank you..." He said, taking the book and staring at it as he listened to her talking.
"I see, thank you again, I'll return the book once I'm done reading it," he said as he kept the book in his satchel, "and I don't really mind how the Slytherin common room feels, it's a bit cold and dark but I just find it comforting really. Let's me be alone with my thoughts and... I don't know..." What was the feeling he was trying to describe exactly? He didn't know, he just liked how the common room felt, "It just feels like home, I guess, I never really found it intimidating, it's peaceful in its one way."

@Noah Page”It just feels like home, I guess, I never really found it intimidating, it's peaceful in its one way.” Noah said.
Maybe. Lindsey regarded Hufflepuff common room as her home too. It’s warm, and comfortable. The Slytherin common room was certainly not like theirs, but it could be great——if you loved it by your heart.
“Um, sorry…I forgot that you regard it as your home.” she murmured. “It is cool under there in summer right?” she quickly added.
To be frank, the worst thing of the Hufflepuff common room was that it’s somehow a bit hot in summer. It’s perfect, without this problem. Warm in winter, and cool in summer——Lindsey really wondered which house’s common room can achieve this.
She sometimes really wanted to have a look at other common rooms. Lindsey had only heard them from her parents, who were Ravenclaws, and her brother, a Gryffindor. Why can’t we get into other common rooms? Only a look inside would do too. Lindsey often thought.
She looked at her muggle watch (a gift from her uncle). It’s already 6 o’clock! Time to go back to the common room.
“Um, I guess I have to go!” Lindsey nodded to Noah. “Have a great time reading the book!”
Lindsey was really glad when she walked out of the library. She came here with a single book, and left with a new friend.
