Daytime Doodles Solo Closed

Summer was starting to come upon the school. Soon first years would be second years and there would be a new group of first years to take their place. It seemed so odd that she had been here an entire year. Sure, the girl had gone to see her family every once in a while back in France, but living in a different country hadn't been as odd as Teiki had expected.

She glanced down at the page before her.

Scribbles of color filled the page, her best attempt at drawing the scenery around her. The branches of the tree above her had turned into cracks found in a glass pane. The overall picture just didn't look right. The hufflepuff sighed softly before turning to the next page in the notebook, attempting a different view of what she saw before her. Eventually she'd feel comfortable enough to show people these drawings, but for now the girl had decided to stick with practicing.

Teiki brushed a strand of hair out of her face, before picking up the green, deciding to start drawing the lawn first. This time, she would try for something more natural- less rigid. Blue eyes would glance up to notice her surroundings, before dipping her head down to start coloring in the grass.

It would probably take her a while to learn to draw well, but she was ready to try.
