Why do you want to be a mentor? First when I joined the site, I was really confused about how the forums and roleplaying in general worked. So I totally understand when new members also feel that kind of confusion, and I want to help them. Since I've been on the site only for 6 months, I'm still kinda familiar with those feelings, especially after the slight change in the layout . I also try my best to answer owls and questions as soon as I can/as soon as I have an answer, and I personally don't enjoy leaving people on read for a long time, especially if they just have a harmless question about how the site works. Even when my friend joined the site, after I did, she kept asking me questions about stuff she was didn't know, ironically, I'd been on the site for just a few months and didn't know much either, but could still answer her questions. (I know very well that mentors can't/aren't allowed to mentor their irl friends. My first step was to tell my friend to sign up in the mentorship programm and she did. But she still asked me stuff instead of her mentor. She's not that active on the site anyway.

Why do you want to be a mentor? When I joined this site, it was all so overwhelming to me. Had it not been for Adeline Spinks, I wouldn't have been able to navigate such an amazing site and thrive in it. Inspired by my amazing friend and mentor, I hope to help all the newbies and old users in need of assistance the best I can, as I am very well acquainted with that feeling. All the more with the new site layout and all I understand how confusing it might be.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I remember feeling quite lost upon arriving. It was my first time joining an RP site; navigating the creation, let alone writing, of a character was confusing. Having been here for a while now and thus familiar with the site's functions, I feel that I should contribute back to this community in some way. The programme is also instrumental in creating connections for both the mentor and the mentee.
