Anonymous Love Note To: Selim Faust

To: @Selim Faust
Dear Selim,
There is so much I can't even begin to describe that I admire about you. Admittedly, when we first met, I thought you were just another one of those stuck-up aristocratic purebloods who thought they were too good to interact with anyone on the same level. I was soon proven just as wrong as I hoped to prove you wrong, however, and for that, I am more grateful to you than you could ever know. You were the first one to prove to me that there could be depth to other children; the reason I didn't feel so alone. In fact, I'm not sure I realized just how alone I've felt among everyone my age until I met you and you became my cure. So, for better or for worse, thank you.
I also want to apologize for all the wrong I've ever done you. Though none of it was ever intentional, they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so I know that makes little difference. I know whatever I may have tried to do right by you will never be enough to make up for the wrongs, but I want you to know that I mean to keep trying. I'll always keep trying for as long as you'll let me. Please remember above all else: you have people to rely on now; people who actually care about you.
You're not a weapon, no matter what they might have wanted you to be. You're so much more than that and I love you for it. I've missed you dearly these past few months, and if I'm truly honest, I've been afraid to spend too much time alone in your company. Still, I'm sure time will eventually heal those wounds as they healed more physical ones. I'm confident that one day we'll get to laugh and talk and jeer and poke at each other again.
Sincerely,
An Anonymous Admirer
