438 words ReducioLife had gotten so morbid that I had forgotten how much I liked to play piano.
Until today, I still have no idea how I learned it. It's like the skill randomly had appeared into my brain and refused to let go. And, with finals so close, everything that happened on the last months and my new life, my stress levels were at an unhealthy place. And I remembered there was a Rehearsal Room at Hogwarts so, why not?
The second I finished class, I headed straight into the Fourth Floor and into the room. Thank the Saints the place was lonely, just the portraits in there to look at me. Silently bowing my head to them, I headed towards the small piano at the corner and, for the first time in Hogwarts, I unbraided my hair, leaving it just hanging on my back.
My bag fell next to me as I checked my clock. I had, at least, one hour until the dinner. I hoped I'd be, at least, a bit more calm by then. The second my hands touched the keys, my shoulders released their tension. I recalled the calm, safe feeling I had each time I used to have when I played piano after a bad day at school or when my mom left.
And I know perfectly that what I was doing wasn't anything more than a simple stereotype. A Prodigy child who plays piano. It almost seemed to be a requisite at this point. After all, Mozart was a prodigy, too. Paganini. Einstein. And then, there was me. A witch.
Ironically, thinking about Mozart, my hands unconciously began to play the melody I first learned. The one they used to test my brain in the artistic field. The sonata no 15 in c major, movement 1. It was a headache for me to learn, but in one week I had mastered it. I still don't understand why was everyone so surprised for it.
Fifteen minutes later, I had discovered my memory was perfect when I finished the piece. I kept moving my fingers, almost possessed by the rythm, and when I was almost making my own version of the Sonata, I heard a noise. I stopped inmediately, looking around.Stamina: 6 | Evasion: 6 | Strength: 4 | Wisdom: 7 | Arc Power: 6 | Accuracy: 6
Seven minutes in Hell.
There was a sharp thunking sound that was made towards the back of the rehearsal room and it kind of sounded like a combination of the screeching of the chair leg and of the body falling off of a bench. Remy was sleeping on a few chairs put together, rested his head between another chair's seat faced against one of them, and then with a split that was formed the more Remy slept, he eventually flopped on the ground.
He was absolutely not supposed to be sleeping or taking a nap, but there was a reason he was in here! He didn't want to go to class, or maybe he didn't want to go mingle with people and wanted some rest and relaxation this school couldn't seem to don onto him.
He let his messy hair mop around his head as his head rose to look towards the noise that was being played. He saw the piano and stood up. He couldn't take it. No. Not this horrific playing. Remy stormed over to her with the venom clear in his throat, even if words didn't come out as creatively as some could make them.
He grabbed her shoulder and jerked her back a little. "YOU BADDDDDD! YOU NO PLAY NO MORE! THIS BAD!" He snarled loudly, then decided he would show her how a piano is actually played.
He let go of her and clenched up his fists, using them wreck-it-ralph style to beat down on the keys in no particular order, releasing a strand of sound, painful to hear. "YOU PLAY THIS! YOU SEE BAD!"

274 words ReducioI had to breathe.
Like, seriously, my mind went all blank for a second when I saw him.
I recognized that way of talking. I had heard it. Why did part giants always need to get on my nerves? They were giving me a real bad first impression. There's a reason why I didn't like them.
And then he started to touch the piano. And I had to do something. I had to react.
"No, back off, BACK OFF!" I grabbed him by the back of his robes and yanked him back. "What do you think you're doing?"
Sigh. I checked my clock.
"I still own this practice room for... seven and a half minutes." I started, crossing my arms over my chest.
As I waited for him to speak, I studied him. By his face, it seemed like he had just woken up. From where? No idea. But his hair was definitely not helping him.
Why did the giants always have to mess with me? Am I an easy target?
If I had a galleon for each time I had a similar encounter with a part-giant, I'd have two galleons, which is not a lot, but it's fun that it already happened twice.Stamina: 6 | Evasion: 6 | Strength: 4 | Wisdom: 7 | Arc Power: 6 | Accuracy: 6
Seven minutes in Hell.
Remy stumbled backwards when she yanked him away, and he felt like someone had just pulled him out of a damn good dream and tossed him into.. what was the worst test in the wizarding world? An OWL? His hair flopped over his eyes and he shoved it back with a grunt and stared at her as if she was a common lowly criminal.
"Why you touch Remy? Remy play. You bad! Remy fix!"
He jabbed a piano key then jabbed another key. He didn't know what the hell she meant by seven and a half minutes. She was going to torture his ears and make him cry bleeding for seven and a half minutes? What the hell did seven and a half minutes mean? "Room big. No yours." Remy grabbed her shoulders and threw her down with a hard force.
He took two fingers, the pinching fingers, and opened the lid to the piano. If this girl wanted to be a demon for seven and a half minutes, he was going to make sure he could sleep for seven and a half minutes. He reached in with the pincher fingers and snapped each piano string as he yanked upwards, like they were spider webs.
If that was what the girl needed to play, then Remy has succeeded in his mission.
