Continuation from: The Giant and the Human
When the freezing spell wore off, he ran in pure anger. His muscles tingled with the weird sensations of being filled with vibrating pins and needles that would fade away after a few moments, but Remy wanted to punch something just to feel normal again.

So he did. On his way down to the Courtyard, he gave a lucky 11-year-old the hardest punch to his eye, that black eye would probably stay there for a month even with the help of the magical creams they had in the wizarding world.

Remy might as well do his brother a solid and go find this crazy lunatic that he was supposed to go find, whoever she was, and sell up Elmo to her. Was she the charms professor? Who even was this 'Jessamine'?

The tingling was finally gone, and Remy smiled. The courtyard was looking rather gorgeous.

It didn't need to. Remy needed to destroy this disgusting school. The half giant walked over to the plants in the ground and started unrooting them. The werewolves at this school would probably not like it if he found their bones buried in the rather not-so-genius spot.

But there was no bone underneath. With a grunt, he started throwing the dirt every which way. He was going to beat his brother up one way or another. How was his brother casting spells without speaking and without a wand? Impossible! He was too ugly for that cool magic trick!

It would continue raining dirt as he continued to dig. Every bit of the dirt was packing under his fingernails. Every worm was being torn apart, every small snail was being tossed onto the people walking by like they were somehow in the Turbo movie.

The Courtyard was one of Jessamine's favourite places at Hogwarts, and that only proved more true after her recent promotion, if you could call it that. Often, it was quiet – although she couldn't really expect that given the date. Though she was pleased to see that there was not a costume party occurring in the spot where she hoped to garner a bit of relaxation, she worried that one large student was attempting to create a one-man-show of a Halloween happening.

The rain pattered downwards, bouncing against Jessamine's nose and threatening to flick its droplets into her eyes. She squinted. This was no time to relax outside with sweet treats, unfortunately, even as she murmured a soft, 'Pluvia Velo,' to protect herself from the worst of it.

The umbrella charm did its work well. Jessamine ran her empty hand through her hair, which was now borderline soaked. She truly did consider going inside, as she was now shivering, but it was then that she noticed what the boy was doing. Her eyebrows drew closer together, but she said nothing other than a barely-breathed 'Aer Calidus,' meant to warm herself up.

She wasn't sure exactly what to do with this child. He seemed like a child, just very large, so she thought it was safe to assume he was, what, thirteen? Something like that.

'Surely this isn't the best weather for doing... well, that?' She lifted an eyebrow. 'It's a bit cold. And wet.' Perhaps more than usual, even for Scotland. 'You alright?'

All she could really think of to potentially calm him down (as why would one upturn plants if one were mentally sound?) was to offer a cup of tea. But in this weather?

No, she would have to talk him into it. And maybe later she could deal with the dirt.

Remy froze in the middle of throwing the dirt when he noticed a voice behind him. His shoulders had hunched up like a guilty dog that was caught chewing on, or tearing apart, furniture. He didn't turn at first, thinking he could wash away any bit of internal shame if he ignored her. His eyes lingered on the mess he made. His chest rose and fell rapidly and his breathing was hard and irregular. His fists were clenched full of mud.

When he finally looked over his shoulder, looked at the woman, he was confused as to why she wasn't telling him to stop or face detention like most normal professors. Why was she acting like she was better than everyone else in this looney bin?

Her initial question about him being alright made his chest pinch. Remy couldn't show weakness, no. That would be horrible for the Part Giants or Giants. They were tough, they cannot be weak like a.. like a goblin or a.. yeah a goblin.

"Remy good." The words spun out of his mouth fast, a bit sharper than most regular people would articulate. Remy was always fine. Remy was the strongest in the whole school.

He wiped his nose on his sleeve, smearing dirt across his cheek. He didn't want her to know what happened. He didn't want anyone to know he got flung into a wall like a ragdoll then hit in the face with his own sandal! But the anger was definitely stronger under his skin and he felt as if it leaked out in bursts.

"Remy other stupid. He throw Remy wall ard." Remy brother stupid. He throw Remy into wall hardHe flung dirt at her as if to emphasize why he was mad. Remy was madder about his sandal flying back to hit his face like a boomerang.

His voice rose as he stood up and stomped like a toddler who didn't get his way before he stopped. "Remy art fight but Remy no win. Remy mad." Remy start fight but Remy no win. Remy mad.
