Between studying for finals and conducting these experiments she was getting exhausted out of her mind. But that didn't mean she was stopping anytime soon. She was determined to see her experiments through. And today was one she had spent a week prior preparing.
Today she was going to test how helpful the people in the castle were. She had spent countless nights preparing zodiac star maps. Why those specifically? Cause they were some of the first ones she had learnt to draw and could draw them by heart. It was also the easiest to mass draw. Especially Capricornus. Considering that was her zodiac after all.
She had hidden her maps throughout the castle in various places. In random classrooms, in the courtyard, even in one of the armor stands she found in the corridors. On the back of each map she had her details written out and instructions on how to return the map.
How were people from other houses going to get into the common room? Well if they were smart enough the best way would be to ask another Ravenclaw student to take it in. After all, you couldn't get in unless you were a student of the house. The easiest way would be to find Fawkes herself but in such a vast castle that would be near impossible. Oh well. Millie had just finished one of her class today. She intended to go straight to the hall, to fill her stomach which had been growling since in the middle of the class. Good for her it's not than kind of sound which shamelessly growling to the point make the professor glaring at her questionably. And better, no one noticed that.

As she just stood up from her chair, Millie then noticed there was something in one of the locker at the back of the classroom. She squinted. Looked like a parchment or something. Whose? Her curiosity nudged her consciousness to approach it. However, in the worst timing, her tummy began to growling again, even louder this time. She have no choice. She will tell the Professor later and asked if they perhaps left something in the class. Her top priority now is to grab something to eat.
Millie hurried down the stairs, almost didn't care about anything or anyone she nearly bumped into. Or that she thought, until her eyes caught something slipped in the nook of windowsill. Millie thought that was a garbage, so she quickly took it and bring it with her to the hall.
At the hall, she finally eat and sighed of relieved. In the middle of chewing, she then realised she still clutched the garbage she took from the windowsill. But, she want to make sure first, so she unfold it. Surprisingly, it is a drawing map. Beautifully draw, no less. Whose? How can whoever have this forgot this or just dumped it?
She put another bite into her mouth, looked at the draw more intently. It is a constellation. Astronomy homework? Honestly, Millie doesn't really good at astronomy but with this constellation like an unfinished house drawing ... is it Libra, isn't it? Millie spun the map to another position, then flipped it to saw something written in the back.
Oh, Fawkes! Good Millie can remember people quick even though they rarely talked to each other despite the both girls is Ravenclaw. Millie mindlessly nodded her head, looking at the drawing once more. Her next destination is decided: her own house's common room.This is the property of Fawkes Chaos, Ravenclaw student. Olivia was aimlessly walking the corridors, she had decided to skip, History of Magic as she found it quite boring. Today of all days she just did not have it in her to sit through the lesson. What better time then now to grab a little something to eat, she thought to herself as she now headed towards the direction of the kitchens.
On her way she passed by many portraits and suits of armor often times stopping to say a quick hello to the potraits, some were quite amusing while others were quite grumpy. As she slowly approached the next portrait she saw a peice of parchement sticking out near a suit of armor. She furrowed her eyebrows, a map to some treasure? She thought, Or maybe a hidden entrence marked by someone? She wondered getting a little excited as she grabbed the parchment.
She quickly opened it to see a zodiac star map. She rotated the paper around a few times trying to figure out what exactly she was looking at before she realised the star map was of the Leo constellation. She sighed, what rubbish, she thought.
She turned the parchement around hoping there was something fun at the back only to find the it belonged to a Ravenclaw girl named Fawkes Chaos and that it needed to be returned. She thought about it for a mere moment before deciding against it, her snack was way more important. She threw the parchement back onto the floor, someone else can return it, if it really was important Fawkes would not have been carless enough to loose it, she reasoned as she continued walking.

Coded by Melissa BlakeI was just walking out of Defense Against the Dark Arts with a very bad headache and a very need of sleep and eat when I saw the map.
It was just... There, the paper peeking out from an empty armor. Maybe another student left it there in a hurry, or trying to hide something. However, I decided I didn't care.
As I walked past through it, curiosity came over me. What if it was something important? Something someone missed and was looking for?
With an irritated sigh, I came back for that paper. When I took it off, I noticed it seemed to be a... Oh, a star map. The constellation of Libra, specifically. My sign. I took it as a good signal from the Saints.
Flipping it around to see the back of it, I read the instructions.
Oh, it was from Fawkes, my roommate. Maybe some Astronomy project she was working on, or something to story with, considering the Astronomy final was... Next week.
Shrugging, I just placed it into my pocket and went for something to eat. I'd give it to her at the room.
Twenty minutes later, and after waiting for Fawkes to arrive, I decided to leave the map over her bed and finally go to sleep. Hopefully, she'd see it when she arrived and take it.Stamina: 6 | Evasion: 6 | Strength: 4 | Wisdom: 7 | Arc Power: 6 | Accuracy: 6

A lecture of charms tried to make up for it, but double potions had tired her out enough. With heavy steps, she walked through the corridor as her stomach grumbled. Something sweet for lunch; she needed something sweet. Anything to make up for the horrible mood that potions had put her into. As she walked Amethyst repeated mentally every task she had to finish in the other half of her day. First and foremost, she had to clean her dorm. And decorate it while she was at it. Maybe she could finally have a look at all those gifts she had been sent on her birthday and maybe she could find something nice to decorate her room with. The Slytherin almost bumped into an armour while being lost in her head. She muttered a quick sorry before she noticed a paper sticking out of the armour. |

And lord, on the paper was the most beautifully drawn star map ever, and it was Capricorn, her sign, her sun sign. The sea goat was beautifully depicted beneath the Capricorn stars, and the stars were marked with beautiful handwriting. There were more stars marked than she had been taught about. It was mesmerising, and Amethyst gawked at it for another minute before she turned the page and saw someone's name written on it. Fawkes Chaos. Ravenclaw. Well, too bad. She was not getting it back. Amethyst had no way to go to the Ravenclaw common room, and the poster was too pretty to give up. It would make some nice decor. And so she pocketed it, pretending she had never seen the name written behind it. footnotes. |
