✓ Code doesn't display side images anymore

First of all, I want to say that I really admire the creative work being done on the site, and I find this example particularly impressive!

I am facing a dilemma. In the survey I launched, the question of accessibility and mobile adaptation of the site came out by far as the most frequently mentioned topic. The problem of pages displaying poorly, especially in terms of width, is the issue raised most often.

The main reason is that our coders have pushed the bbcode and table systems far beyond what they were originally designed for. While everything looks lovely on a large screen, as soon as the window is resized, the site is viewed on a phone, or a different font size is used, some pages become completely unreadable.

The problems this creates are numerous, and honestly, finding the right balance between the accessibility of the site, its usability on phones, and creative freedom will not be easy.
The narrow width of phone screens makes columns especially difficult to use. It is no coincidence that no social media platform allows anything beyond rich text formatting.
More broadly, the code used here tends to be very fragile, often tuned to the exact pixel, whereas the web really does not work that way. Pages need to remain flexible, since they are never rendered the same way from one device to another.

For now, I have not yet started working on this issue. I will approach it collaboratively, since I know many of you value this creative freedom a great deal.

In any case, the fact that images were overflowing the parchment was a long time bug... but your effect was really clever!

I'm glad you're considering approaching this collaboratively with the community and I really appreciate that you know our perspective on it. That said, it's also completely understandable if there isn't much you can do about it, given all the issues the code causes.

In any case, please don’t worry: your creations are truly important, and I will do everything I can to preserve them. The less I touch them, the better.

However, I do think they are fragile, all it takes is a slight change in colors, website design or width for everything to break, and for the future, I need to give you a more suitable BBCode to reconcile all of this.

This is probably the most complicated topic to tackle, so I’ve planned to discuss it with you. But it won’t be right away; I still have a lot to do before I get to that point!

I'll speak here, I'm one of the supporters of increasing the accessibility. I love that people have the images on the sides of the pages but I couldn't read your text at all. Your images are cool, but your texts are more important to me. If I can't read it on mobile, I skip and move to another thread that I can read. If I'm actually interested in reading the thread despite that barrier, I wait until I gain access to a computer to be able to load it.

When you have multiple columns in a table, it also lowk sucks because it pushes the text off of the page. The background isn't a flat white color, I cannot read the text.

So, Zachary, whatever you do, I'll appreciate it because I want to be able to read these posts on all of my devices, not just the computer.

(Before anyone says anything I know this is technical support but I wanted to comment and make it known that i also had problems with the accessibility part of it, as it was one of my suggestions)
