CHARACTER APPEARANCE ✵ BACKSTORY ✵ FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC

Reducio A fair skinned girl, Jrue’s eyes, a dark, shimmery grey with salt and pepper flakes, shine no matter what lighting she’s in. She has a slim, pointed little nose, and rosy lips that are constantly dappled with gloss. Her hair, whether long, blown out, or short, is a deep maple brown and silky (thanks to her perfectly concocted shampoo). She always makes a point to paint her nails a new shade of blue (and in 3 years, has not used the same shade twice).

Reducio Growing up in Paisley, Scotland was the ideal place to be. After all, how could you not enjoy life when you lived in a two story house with 4 vacant bedrooms and a library overlooking a pasture of lush green grass? She lived with her mother and father, Winton and Clara, a pediatric surgeon and herbological remedy selling witch. Her Mother was the one with the magic in the family, and they were over joyed to find out she inherited the trait. Trailing back to her Great Great Great Greats, magic was apparent. Her mother's parents both had it, too, her grandmother owning a shop in wizard London for magical scrolls and quills, and grandfather in the herbology field also. Back home she had a field of sheep, all of which she named. And of course she had her own personal room dedicated to her pet budgies (of which she had 12). She was very intrigued with breeding the budgies to make the prettiest colored ones. Since her First Instance of Magic, she’s been mixing and matching budgies at her own accord. Other than her budgies, she enjoys sewing clothing and reading books. Very much an oldie at heart, she hardly uses her spotify and mostly listens to music on her record player (thrifted and refurbished with an insane amount of money, obviously). She is a gifted player of the Cello, an instrument her father played, and his father played, and so on. Due to her lack of siblings, she picked up the instrument, and has been playing it thrice weekly since. Nickname(s) ✵ Reducio Jue Jue Bee J/Jay Puck (by Mikey)

Reducio It was 2017 and she’d just been given her first pair of budgies. They bred and layed their own eggs, and by November she had 4 perfect little budgies. However, upon returning from school, one of her budgies had disappeared! She searched the house with her parents and after 10 minutes (what an inconvenience) had nothing left to do but resort to a screaming fit. She was furious. For her perfect set of 4 to be ruined and now be diminished to nothing but 3! She wanted the budgie back and she wanted it NOW. A burning, pinchy feeling bubbled up in her skin. As the anger grew, she felt irritated by her parents soothing words and pats on the back. Her ears turned pink and she clenched her little fists. After the first shrill whistle, her parents were stunned to see the budgies had gone from being white, to now appearing in vibrant different shades of pink, cyan, and yellow! And at the noise of Jrue shrieking, the lost budgie popped out of a little hidey hole tucked in the corner of the cage. He’d been found! … and was now a shimmery shade of orange and gold. She opened her eyes and gasped with joy as she reached into the cage, embracing the prodigal bird, not paying attention to her parents congratulations.

______________________________________ A girl too young to have so many problems and thoughts pummeling her all at once. Does she need a good hug? Or perhaps cocoa and a pillow. She will never know what will be able to fill her cup. But perhaps by reading through her history, you can clue into just what her mind beholds. ______________________________________

Born on the sunniest day in January, Jrue Peterson was a light in the darkness. She started off her early life at home with her mother and various nannies, living a quiet, simple life. When her mother had to work she would accompany her to Diagon Alley, just a little baby in a stroller. She was hardly a bother, rarely crying or fussing, easy to manage and an angel to be around.

Things complicated when she started attending school. Her mother felt like she had less of a responsibility to care for her, now that Jrue was attending school. Clara heavily relied on her Nannies to look after her, busying herself with her store in London and coming home for dinner, if even that. Jrue attended school until the end of Year six. She enjoyed the few friends she socialized with, hanging out with them on weekends when she could.

Winton Haversham Peterson, father, is a Pediatric Surgeon who grew up in Bristol, England. A wise and comical man, he attended Oxford as a young college student, later touring Europe on a month long bus hopping trip, on which he played his cello for money. He and Jrue have a textbook father-daughter relationship. When he is away from Hospital, you will often find him and Jrue perched on the fence of the sheep or cow pens, sitting in silence, simply enjoying each others company. On the surface, he seems a very quiet and thoughtless fellow, but when he decides to chime in you'll know within seconds the true nature of him.

Winton Haversham Peterson

Clara Amie McNamarin-Peterson, mother, is a strong willed, often hard headed woman. Her and Jrue share many traits in this way. The Pureblood and Vampire in Jrue's Lineage, she owns a small shop in wizard London containing herbs and plants of many different genus. Growing up in the world of magic was something Clara took for granted before meeting Winton, awestruck by his profession. They have a deep and fond love for each other, much alike Morticia and Gomez Adams. It was initially her idea to move to Scotland, wanting to be somewhere she could grow and work on her plants without worry of neighbors bothering them. They of course, had to get animals to go along with it, or their newfound Scotland neighbors were bound to be suspicious.
